Most parts are placeholders to get a general idea of what I'm going for, open to suggestions. Purchased 3 monitors with the intention of multi-screen gaming. Been told that I would need a beefy CPU and GPU to handle the number of pixels, thus the 3080 and the Ryzen 9.

So I'm a bit conflicted between the EVGA RTX 2060 KO Ultra and the Zotac RTX 2060 AMP Prices in my region(Singapore) EVGA RTX 2060 KO Ultra: $479 SGD($336.02 USD) Zotac RTX 2060 AMP : $496 SGD($347.94 USD) Reasons that make me want to choose the EVGA RTX 2060 KO Ultra: 1. Its cheaper 2. Its smaller (202mm) Reasons I don't want the above: 1. Its not on a physical store(Lazada) Reasons I want Zotac RTX 2060 AMP: 1. Its in a physical store(Sim Lim Square - my local computer hardware store) Reasons I don't want the above: 1. Its more expensive 2.Its larger(210mm) If there is a better alternative to a good graphics card under $500SGD($350.98USD) that is available locally, please tell me too. Hi all, I’m new here, i’ve been a long time viewer/fan. The reason i’m finally posting here is because i need help with some pc troubleshooting. I recently sold my old pc as i have upgraded to a ryzen build. Here are the specs: intel i5 4460 Asus H81M-K Gskill Ripjaws DDR3 1600 4x8gb Coolermaster N200 case no psu,gpu or storage i sold it for SGD160 (did i make a lost?) Im certain that it works as it was my previous build and was running fine just a week ago. i told him to clear the cmos, reseat the processor, remove RAM, remove GPU and check the case headers, change psu. update: the psu he was using was the issue. Armageddon 300 bronze FX. i read some reviews on it and it doesn’t look very stable for such an old build. Thanks for reading.

Hello there! Recently, i was all set to build a ryzen computer, with my parents willing to pay for half the price of the system. To put it simply, I F@@ked up my exams and so I'm left with 650sgd (460usd). this is my current system: i5-750 (3.7ghz oc) gt 710 msi p55-cd53 cooler master elite 431 plus acbel 400w psu 2 X 320gb hdd and i want to take on the challenge of building an old Xeon build (like the one Linus did) I live in Singapore and my local eBay is called carousell (www.carousell.com) and I spotted two Xeon e5620 for 15sgd (http://carousell.com/p/80740335/), quite a deal for two four core CPUs. Don't bother searching for a dual socket motherboard on there though. Thus I went on eBay, and I spotted this (http://m.ebay.com/itm/SuperMicro-X8DTU-F-Dual-LGA1366-Socket-B-Intel-Motherboard-/162518645968?hash=item25d6ddbcd0%3Ag%3A50oAAOSwWxNY0YsX&_trkparms=pageci%3A506e5e1c-3d69-11e7-9ae0-74dbd180c0ce%7Cparentrq%3A264730ee15c0ab6730952251ffff29a3%7Ciid%3A1), looks good. Here is the product page (http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/QPI/5500/X8DTU-F.cfm). Will this motherboard work? Also will I have any interferences with my graphics card? (Like Linus did in the video). How can I tell what connectors I need? Also, please advise what video card I should buy within my budget. (GTA v, Fifa 17) 1080p monitor and tv. I don't mind used parts as Long as its from carousell.com, just want the most bang for buck. Should I just go for an RX 580 and use it for a real system I may build in November? Also what power supply? Am I looking for a 500W, 750W or what? Is this motherboard eatx? Should I get a case? Since this is passive cooling should I get a fan? Thanks for all the help.

I'm supposed to fly to Singapore to go for a conference about digital animation next month, I got surprised by their prices of pc parts in Singapore when I googled them. I took a look at the price I have to pay if I build Mt Galion Evo in Singapore, Here's the cheapest prices I got : Raijintek Ophion Evo - $189(no steel panels) Ryzen R2600 - $200 Silverstone td02 - slim - $89 MSI B450i gaming plus ac - $229 G.skill trident z ddr4 3000mhz cl16 16gb - $214 Zotac GTX 1080 8gb mini - $718 Western digital black m.2 nvme 250gb ssd - $105 T-force gaming delta s 1tb ssd - $248 Corsair SF600 600w 80 + platinum - $205 Thermaltake Riing Trios 120mm RGB Fans triple pack - $160 Total $SGD2357 - (No OS or mouse/keyboard) When I build it it didn't cost me more then $USD1400 (with OS) I'm supposed to stay in Singapore for a month, now I'm wondering if my $5k allowance and rent for the month will be enough. Anyone in here from Singapore? How's the weather in Singapore? How's the food? Are there any game shops?

Source: ChannelNewsAsia (July 22), MacRumours, Source: ChannelNewsAsia, VentureBeats Summary: On July 22, 2018, Apple (Singapore) customers were shocked to find that they had billed for purchases on iTunes, for purchases that they did not make. The banks can notify them via SMS to state that their money in the bank account is low or if the bank detects very suspicious transactions, they immediately pause the transactions and query the card owners if they actually made those transactions. The unauthorised charges can also be billed to their mobile phone bill. The following day, Apple (Singapore) denies responsibility, however, is looking into the issue, meanwhile Singapore iTunes customers seek help from their bank to cancel their transaction and hope to get a refund. Banks even suggested that the card owners, to replace their compromised cards with a new one. Some iTunes owners are able to get a refund from Apple (Singapore), while others were not able to. My Own Thoughts Not sure if this is related to the recent cyberattack, which 1.5 million SingHealth patients' data were stolen. It's real scary, considering my country is trying to be a SmartNation. Question 1. Not sure about iTunes, but Google Play, before you purchase something, it request user's verification. There's an option to always verify, or trust this device. Do you set it to hassle-free and trust your device? 2. After successfully making a credit/debit transaction, do you remove your card from that account? 3. Do you guys used those Steam Cards, Google Play Gift Card, or Apple Gift Card(?, I know Apple has it too, just not sure of the name), load it up to your account and use it?

Hi, I am a Singaporean looking looking to build a computer under US$1,500 (~S$2,000). It's main purpose will be gaming and mobile app developments (Emulation). I plan to do some streaming as well. I'm running a single 1080p, 144hz Monitor. Draft plan: Component Selection Qty Price Where CPU AMD - Ryzen 7 1700 3.0GHz 8-Core Processor 1 $269.99 Amazon CPU Cooler AMD - Wraith CPU Cooler 1 $0.00 Amazon Motherboard Asus - PRIME B350-PLUS ATX AM4 Motherboard 1 $79.99 Amazon Memory Corsair - Vengeance LED 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory 1 $187.99 Amazon Storage SSD Samsung - 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive 1 $89.99 Amazon Storage HDD WD Black 1TB Performance Desktop Hard Disk Drive - 7200 RPM SATA 6 Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch - WD1003FZEX 1 $69.00 Amazon Video Card EVGA - GeForce GTX 1070 8GB FTW2 Gaming iCX Video Card 1 $449.99 Amazon Case Phanteks - ECLIPSE P400 ATX Mid Tower Case 1 $49.99 Amazon Power Supply EVGA 650 BQ, 80+ BRONZE 650W, Semi Modular, 5 Year Warranty, Includes FREE Power On Self Tester, Power Supply 110-BQ-0650-V1 1 $66.72 Amazon Additional 2 More Fans 2 ~$60.00 Amazon Custom - Total: US$ $1,323.66 S$ $1,800.18 Things that I am considering: Should I go for a >500W PSU or is 650W perfectly fine, I want to cut some costs as the prices for the PSU seem to fluctuate by the day? Should I go for a 4-fan set up (2 Front, 1 Back, 1 Top)? The current case comes with two 120mm Fans, (1 Front, 1 Back). I may go with a 4-Fan set up as shown with the plans of two extra ans in the table above. It does get quite toasty mid-season here. If yes, will the current case fit? Worth? This bugger was on for $13 for a 3-Year package for the past week, before turning into this. Thank you.

I'm located in Singapore, so I'll be using google to convert the Pc part picker's prices to give me a rough estimate. I'm current working as an Intern for an IT company. I received good news that I may be hired by the company once I graduate. Since I've been using pretty half-assed laptops that can barely run League of Legends (My first laptop), and Overwatch (My current Laptop), it is probably the time that I get myself something that can cater to my hobbies and better work productivity. Here is my current laptop config: (Lenovo G40) OS: Windows 10 Home, x64. CPU: i7-4510U, usually 2~3GHz Memory: 8GB GPU: AMD 8500HD 500GB HDD No SSD. Since applications like Visual Studio and IntelliJ are so light that my current Laptop can run it without annoying the living crap out of me, my main concern will be Emulation for things like Android Applications (Android Studio HAXM, etc.) and XAMARIN's emulation for Android Development. My current laptop will take literally 10 minutes to boot the damn thing but after it does, the thing will run at roughly 30 fps and it eats up so much RAM. I am not a fan of using my own phone to debug my app because I want my phone to be on for a different purpose (distraction (͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)). As for games, I just want to be able to play MOST games at least at High preset, 1440/1080p so 1070 will probably accompany me for a very long time. Budget: 2k~3k SGD. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/nirvaxstiel/saved/JKLrHx So after stalking around and asking a friend of mine for advice (he built his rig some months ago), I came up with a concept of my rig. Since this is the very first time I'm actually building a rig, I threw in some "best xxx" placeholders for my CPU, Motherboard, CPU Cooling. Power supply and null for my case fans. The reason why I went to throw in a network card should the ethernet cable becomes faulty, or I might end up not re-routing my cable to my room due to the awkward router-room positioning. Inputs will be very much appreciated.

Hi,it's my first time planning to get a custom made PC. I'm currently using a ASUS AIO PC. NOTE:I need a recommended built with and without screen . So 1 is $1.5k without screen and $1.5k with screen. 1. Budget & Location My budget is around $1.4k-$1.5k SGD and hopefully can get my parts from stores in Singapore . 2. Aim I'm going to use it for Gaming(League Of Legends, GTA V) and more games in time to come as I'm limited to some games only as my current computer is unable to run smoothly. I'm also planning to do live streams or recording gameplay and simple editing . 3. Monitors Currently thinking of using 1 or 2 monitors as my space is limited too.. Maybe a 23inch screen? I'm not sure myself 4. Peripherals Monitors might be needed . OS don't think I'll need 5. Why are you upgrading? I'm upgrading cause my current AIO pc can't run much games and it can't be upgraded in terms of parts Thanks!

Introduction: This is a totally budget build with high cost due to me living in Singapore. Im a first time computer builder so advice is definitely appreciated to help me improve on my build. Hope you guys can help me computer geniuses 1. Budget & Location Budget of SGD$1000-$1200.Might be able to save more if i go out less. I only earn $480/month doing compulsory national service~ so do not overshot the budget by too much if possible~ Case:Corsair Spec 03 Mid Tower - $89 Motherboard+Processor:Asus A88XM-A + A10-7850k - $322 (Should i go for ASUS A88X-PRO - +70) Ram:Corsair Pro Vengeance 1866Mhz - $120 Hard Drive:1 TB Seagate 7200rpm - $71 SSD:SAMSUNG 250GB 840 EVO - $164 CPU cooler:CoolerMaster Hyper 212X PWM Cooler- $69 (Whats a pwm cooler) Its a cpu cooler right? Graphic card- Sapphire R7 250 1GB DDR5 Boost-$140 Power Supply-Seasonic M12II-520W Modular 80+ - $99 Total:SGD$1,074. 2. Aim This cheap gaming rig is just aiming to play at some decent frame rates. I play dota 2 on framerates that spike from 20-60 thats horrendous. Playing Dota 2 most of the time. However with this new computer rig, hoping to be able to play other games such as dying light, dayz,CSGO without having lag issues. I don't need high quality 1080p gaming, just smooth gameplay. Therefore im aiming for a crossfire setup as oppose to buying a super expensive graphic card due to budget constraint. Asus GTX Titan X 12GB GDDR5..............$1828 < How can a graphic card be so expensive??? I am not aiming for build to be upgradeable. Just decent to survive for the next 4-6 years being able to games smoothly~ 3. Monitors:1 monitors have resolution? I only thought they had size differences.~ Planning to get 21-23 inch monitor. For resolution i have no clue about that. (Monitor price is excluded from the budget as i would be able to save another month to buy it) 4. Why are you upgrading? Cause im using a horrible laptop to play games.Seriously i5 m430,2gb ram, Geforce GT 330m graphic card , 452gb of memory space only. This thing got to go. 5. Other stuff: My friend suggested building a G3258 processor build with an old generation motherboard and from the money saved, putting it all in to buying a decent graphic card. But i have no clue on intel processor and motherboard. So if someone could provide an alternative to this build with a G3258 processor,i would really appreciate it. Hi Guy's, So I'm looking at immigrating in the next 3-5 years, I've been doing a lot of research and planning some trips to various places including Vancouver. There may be an opportunity for me to work in Dubai in the next year or so, but I don't plan on being there for much longer than 2 years if I go. I've lived in the UK for 4 years and I'm not really interested in Europe. Out of all the places I've researched Vancouver just sticks out at me, I really like Singapore too which I have visited but Vancouver is perhaps a bit more Western compared to Singapore, despite it being very multicultural, but I really like Asian culture and Asian people in general I guess. I would like to hear from anyone who lives there or been there, good or bad. Yes - I know property is expensive there, 4th highest in the world actually.

So this happened over the past weekend (http://tinyurl.com/lmorzoz) tl:dr Vietnamese tourist with meager pay gets scammed for an iPhone 6 in Singapore So what happened next was remarkable. A Singapoream, Gabriel Kang set up a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo crowdfund this guy an iPhone. With the help of countless Singaporeans of this post USD$4000 has been raised to help this guy. This is quite heartwarming see that there has been such a move outside of the normal campaigns we usually see crowdfunding campaigns are for like Oculus.

Hi guys, I'm from Singapore so the prices may be abit different than usual. The CPU and Mobo come at a bundle price of ~350 to 370. I'm not too sure which Mobo to choose from though. I won't be OC-ing and I'm just looking for a simple, reliable and easy to use Mobo. The 7 I've rounded down to are as follows:- (PRICES ARE BUNDLE PRICES WITH THE CPU) ASUS B85M-E ($349) ASUS H87-PLUS ($361) MSI B85-G41 PC MATE ($338) MSI B85-G43 ($343) MSI H87M-G43 ($361) MSI H97 PC MATE ($345) ASRock B85M Pro 4 ($356) ASRock H87M Pro 4 ($366) I'm looking to be using the PC for med-high quality settings gaming at 1920 x 1080 p and other general work i.e, presentations and normal university school work. It's not meant to be a high end 3-monitor gaming beast, just a nice simple gaming/workstation PC. I don't stream or edit videos or anything. I was considering buying a sapphire r7 265 (for 229) first hand but there are second hand r9 270X for about the same price. If I could get a sapphire toxic r9 270X I might as well top up those 11 bucks compared to a r7 265. I would appreciate any other opinions on the other parts too! My total budget for the build is about 1300 but I wouldn't mind keeping it down abit.(School is expensive ) I might need to get a simple keyboard and mouse and no OS or monitor required. Thanks in advance All the prices stated are in SGD. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/abr231194/saved/vWwmP6 CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core (BUNDLED WITH MOBO) CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212X $57 Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 $125 Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" SSD $179 Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM $72 Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 270X 2GB Tri-X Toxic $240(SECOND HAND) Case: Thermaltake Chaser A31 Snow White ATX Mid Tower $119 Power Supply: SeaSonic 650W ATX12V / EPS12V $145 Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer $27

Vr-Zone reported, Dell announced on Wednesday through their blog, that they will firstly rolled 64-bit ARM-based servers in Singapore, for customers interested in evaluating the technology. There is not much detail about the config of these ARM-based servers, but it probably won't be from AMD, as AMD's Opteron A1100 aren’t expected until later this year. http://vr-zone.com/articles/dell-deploys-proof-concept-arm-server-singapore/71505.html http://en.community.dell.com/dell-blogs/dell4enterprise/b/dell4enterprise/archive/2014/02/04/dell-offers-64-bit-arm-microserver-proof-of-concept-for-hyperscale-on-the-heels-of-open-compute-summit-momentum.aspx
