I build this pc from marketplace like half a year ago, i payd like 300-320 euro for each comp ( ryzen 5 5600 32 gb ram b450 mortar max and and the sus rx 5700 blower from radeon i think I have the problem that when I hit the table, even a little bit, the video card driver crashes, in the past I had this problem only that then the whole PC shut down, but I solved it by removing and reinstall al the cables It could be from the 3-4 euro psu that i buyed from flea market or its a connection related, sorry for my bad english :DD

Hello, I have have 2 gpus, and rx 5700 and a gt 730 that I'd like to have in my system. The rx 5700 of course will be the main gpu. The reason I have the gt 730 is for it's vga port, as I'm trying (and failing) to run a crt off my pc. My issue has been a that many programs, such as doom eternal and the desktop windows manager, run off the gt 730. For games, I've can disable the 730 , but desktop windows manager is always there, and it running on the weak gpu makes a lot of things slow down, such as resizing windows. My question is, how can I force everything to use the 5700, wihtout having to set it for every individual app? I've tried using the windows graphics settings to make stuff run on where I want it to run, but has my rx 5700 as both the low performance, high performance options, and default. Is there something I can enable system wide that makes the rx 5700 the default? I am running the latest drivers for both cards/

Hello, I'm kind of worried about my GPU's temps. They reach about 87c junction and 73c edge. Is this normal for an RX 5700 (non-XT)?
-
Hi, when I was adjusting my fan curve to keep my gpu temps under control I noticed that at idle the voltage 775 to 800 Mv. It would jump around all the time as well as the clocks, with them going from 6 to 80 mhz. Also, the VRAM frequency is 200 mhz. Is all of this normal at idle? (I kind of regret picking up an amd gpu with all this crap happening :/)

I have an r5 3600 on an msi x570 and an XFX RX 5700 running on the 20.11.2 driver. The only game I'm really playing atm is World of Warcraft, which is not very gpu intensive at all. But I just started having this issue last night where I was getting BSOD after playing WoW for only a couple of minutes. I did not have enough time to see the actual error code, and Event Viewer is very unhelpful, with Kernel 41 errors saying that the system shutdown unexpectedly (duh). I tried swapping RAM modules first because I had spray-painted my heatsinks and thought maybe I'd killed something, but that turned out not to be the issue (also ran mem checker and received no errors). Thinking maybe it was just a corrupt version of windows I "reset my pc" - keeping my files but basically started over. That didn't solve the problem either. WoW just stopped giving me a BSOD and just reboots my computer after a short freeze. (I turned off the auto reboot, and the system just completely freezes so it told me nothing). So basically, I play the game for roughly 5 minutes, CPU and GPU temps are steady and low, CPU is around and GPU 50-60, and then the computer crashes and reboots. My character is just sitting there waiting for the crash, because it's pretty consistent. I ran Furmark for a good 10 minutes at least - it crashed at first because the memory temp was getting up to 92 and the fans weren't working hard enough according to GPU-Z. Reinstalled MSI Afterburner and was able to run Furmark for a while... and when I was satisfied that it was fine, I shut it down, and then the computer crashed. I decided to swap my card with my BF's, which was my old Sapphire RX 580, and have no issues so far!! Am able to run WoW just fine so far (crossing fingers), and as the icing on the cake, he's running my 5700 without issue. I'm SO CONFUSED. His system is an Intel i3 coffeelake i think, with a z370 gaming 5 mobo. I had him update to the 20.11.2 driver and is still fine. i just don't know what could suddenly cause instability on MY system but not his, even after running a fresh copy of windows and have barely anything installed on it right now. If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears! I would really like my 5700 back, especially since graphics cards are impossible to come by right now.

Budget (including currency): $300 CAD (not firm, can go higher for a better value build) Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: GTA V, CS:GO, Minecraft, Snowrunner, 4k video editing and Android emulation Existing parts: Core 2 Quad Q8300, AVC cpu cooler, 3x2Gb DDR3 1333mhz, AMD Rx 5700, 650Gb 7200rpm Seagate hard drive, LGA 775 motherboard, DVD reader, 500W Thermaltake Power supply, HP Pavilion prebuilt case, One case fan I am looking to upgrade the motherboard, cpu, memory and cpu cooler if necessary in such a way that the rx 5700 will not be bottlenecked. I am open to buying second hand around the Toronto area. It would also be nice if you could recommend a suitable boot sata ssd for windows 10 (128Gb). I am open to purchasing a case with better airflow and case fans if there is a very good deal (age and rgb doesn't matter). If there is only a small difference between prices or performance, I would prefer an AM4 motherboard and cpu that I can upgrade to a third gen ryzen or later in the future over an intel system. I do not need any peripherals including a monitor, mouse, keyboard, desk mat or power cables.

Specs: GPU: RX 5700 CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 Motherboard: Asus Prime B450m-k Ram: 16GB Power Supply: Corsair RM650 So recently I decided to Factory reset my pc, once the factory reset finished I realised that my gpu was not appearing in task manager, I tried installing the drivers for it and it just came up with errors. I decided to try to use DDU to uninstall my graphic drivers and then reinstall them but that did not fix anything. I tried factory resetting again, and then re installing windows through the settings menu. The next day I flashed and re install my bios and that also didn't fix the problem. My bios is also stuck in Legacy mode. I don't think the gpu is broken because I have my monitor connected to it using a display port. I have tried installing a new chipset that also didn't work it just says error. And in my Device manager my PCI devices have no drivers. are I'm losing hope with it, does anyone know a potential fix. Thank you. PS before the factory reset my pc worked perfectly fine.

Hey guys, I am posting this new Topic because I keep having an issue with my new-build-PC. I get sometimes stuck in booting where it is showing the Windows logo but not the moving circle and I keep having Memory_Management Bluescreens with the BugCheckCode 0x41792 referring to a PageTableEntry. My Pc is roughly one month old and I followed the "Game Now" Build presented in the "The Perfect DIY Gaming PC - Early 2020 Buyers Guide" video. I had to make some minor changes, since not all parts were available in my country (I live in Germany). Also, I decided to make a post in this forum since I already tried to get help in a german forum - I got a lot of unhelpful and kinda mean comments about how I "cheaped out" and picked the wrong hardware... people stating that a 3rd Gen Ryzen + Rx5700 on a B450 was an idiotic choice and I should be happy it even runs, pcie 4.0 bla bla, the power supply has too small wattage. .. you can figure. Bear in mind: My pc is almost exactly what is recommended in the video and yeah .. I guess I trust Linus's Teams expertise more in picking parts that work with each other than some random dudes patting each others backs on forums. Anyhow, I was hoping to maybee get some more helpful answeres here. I will try to not make this post to long, so I will attach a little list with more detailed info about my hardware, and what I alredy done to troubleshoot. Thank you for reading so far! Hey, I'm planning to build my first gaming pc (around 800-850€) and I'm not sure if the parts I wanna buy are future proof for the next gen games which will probably rely on multiple core performance... I thought about one of these options for my build: R3 3300X & RX 5600 XT R5 3600 & RX 5600 XT R3 3300X & RX 5700. (I can't afford R5 3600 with RX 5700 and I can't find a RTX 2060 right now that is cheaper than a RX 5700 so that's not an option.) So my question would be if any of these are future proof (for at least 3 years, I won't upgrade my pc for at least for this time because I can't afford it...) or would I need better components for a future proof gaming pc? I don't plan to play many AAA titles, just a few, but I'd like to play in 1080p with 60fps or more at mid to max settings. And I would prefer it to not overclock anything if possible for a future proof pc because I don't know exactly how it works, I don't wannt to break anything and I would like my pc to live for more than just a couple of years. I'm worried about the 4c/8t of the 3300X but also about the 6GB VRAM of the 5600 XT... but as I said, I can't get the 6c/12t with 8GB VRAM option.

Just bought an XFX RX 5700 DD Ultra Temps are fine, every game is running well except for GTAV I have seen the card pull up to 190 Watts when benchmarking or playing other games, but on GTAV, it will not go over 50 Watts while in game. When loading, it will go up to 150 Watts and up to 300 FPS, but while actually playing, I get around 70 FPS. It also wont go above 65% load IN GAME either. I had a similar issue with PUBG, but closing AfterBurner seemed to solve that. The only monitoring software I have open is the Radeon software which is open for every other game I play. I have checked that there is no undervolted profile for GTA, and my global settings have no changes to the default. Please help, thanks. Other parts: CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 RAM: 16 GB Corsair Vengeance 3000 MHz Motherboard: MSI B350 Gaming Pro mATX PSU: 650 Watt 80+ Bronze Storage: 970 Evo Seagate Baracuda WD Blue

Hello, I build my new PC about 3 weeks ago (specs listed below). I have been experiencing black screens and BSoDs quite often while doing just about anything on my PC. Also I got an artifact today while opening the League of Legends client - this is the only artifact I have seen thus far. Everything is stock, and I have tried numerous things to try and solve the problem. I tried updating my BIOS, reinstalling windows entirely, re-installing drivers using DDU, resetting all my BIOs settings, making sure my bios PCI were set to gen 3, and down-clocking my memory to 2666 MHz. I ran a GPU stress test for 30 mins and the temps never topped 85c. I ran a memory stability test for an hour using HCI memtest, and no issues were found. The specific blue screen code is VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR. Here is the link to the dump files and Performance Monitor Report: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_5jwGZ8CHB1uS6HM2FbpkuMUoIFkcnfe/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uUBeEmiakOgdZTPL0YnQN36K9LLixbSP/view?usp=sharing The black screens that I get sometimes last for a couple seconds. Other times the screen goes black, my monitor loses input, media stops playing, and I need to restart my PC. I looked at the windows reliability report to see if it had picked it up, and it did. Here are some screenshots (ironically I got a BSoD while I was putting these together ?), these were from yesterday: Black Screen Crash Other Black Screen Crash VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR BSoD Here is the full reliability history: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hjZbl_SUio1GlyK7lwcXbhblul3hDJA9/view?usp=sharing Also, starting from yesterday, my cursor has been lagging around when I first boot my computer. When I open chrome or another application, then the lagging stops. I believe it has something to do with GPU utilization, but other than that I have no idea what could cause this... maybe someone has an explanation. Thank you in advance! Some Information: x64 Windows, full retail version Last installed Windows 2 weeks ago RYZEN 5 3600 Sapphire Pulse RX 5700 MSI B450 TOMAHAWK (I got this from micro center, on the box it said it was ready for Ryzen 3000 series) Corsair TXM Gold 550 W GPU Driver Version: 19.9.2 RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 16 GB DDR4-3000 (BLS2K8G4D30AESBK) SSD: Crucial P1 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME MONITOR: Acer SB230 75 Hz

I currently have an MSI GTX 960 GPU which uses DVI to run at 144hz on my BenQXL2411Z monitor. The monitor has an old HDMI that only supports up to 60hz as well as the DVI port and a D-sub port. However I want to upgrade to an RX 5700XT which has 3 display ports and one HDMI port. What are my options? Looking to run at 1080p. Here's the BenQ monitor - https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/31ff77c

Hi guys, im in a dilemma, my computer broke completely down and now I'm shopping for a new one. With the new CPUs from ryzen coming up I have to be a little bit more patient however my dilemma is with the graphics cards. I'm gaming at 1440p and my curent budget i can afford the 2080 strix. Now should I go for the rx 5700 xt or just the rtx 2080 or 2080 super. Whats also a question mark with release date. I'm willing to wait till half juli my wife is already going nuts with me taking her tv. I know that the rtx 2080 is the best and the 5700xt is still a unknown and only coming close to 2070. But is it worth it at 1440p uw to get a 2080 and spend so much, I don't really care about raytrace. (Yet). What do you guys think. Another options would be: 2070 super

The new upcoming GPUs from AMD are using PCIe 4.0. From what I've read, it will bring double the transfer rates than PCIe 3.0, which sounds great for SSDs and non-gaming applications, but are there any advantages for gaming when using PCIe 4.0 rather than PCIe 3.0 ?

I have started the building process of my pc, but the only part I haven't ordered yet is the graphics card. I know I want the new rx 5700 but I'm not sure which card. At this point I don't care about waiting for the custom cards as I just want to use my new computer, and I have no previous pc to use in the meantime. If heat is a problem I'll get one of those arctic thingies. So now I'm lost between which brand of card to get, Sapphire, XFX, Etc. The ones I'm considering is the XFX one which has 4 stars on amazon, and 4 eggs on Newegg. The Sapphire one has 4.4 stars on amazon with 7 reviews, while has 1 egg from one review. I don't know who to believe or if I should go with another brand. Rn I'mm on vacation and when I get home I would like to be able to start playing. Please give recommendations! Thanks!

was planning to upgrade my RX 570 8GB. Is RX 5700 over kill for 1080p 60fps? should I just go with 1660ti? don't really want to upgrade monitor yet to 144hz unless it's IPS since I do digital art stuffs and an IPS with 144hz is very expensive.

I am thinking of upgrading to the AMD Radeon RX 5700 from my GTX 1060 6GB. My system currently has a Ryzen 5 1500X with 8GB of RAM. I usually play on 1080p, 144hz. My main question is if the Ryzen 5 1500X will bottleneck the RX 5700 too much for it to be worth it. If so, what processor should I pair the RX 5700 with? I don`t really think I game enough to justify using too much money, so the optimal solution would be to use around 400-500$.

Hey All, Just have a question about mid-range GPUs. I’m looking to buy a card that should not have to be upgraded for 3-5 years and can game at 4K at Ultra at 30-60fps. My options are: RTX 2060 (€410/$460) RTX 2060 Super (€460/$515) RTX 2070 (€540/$610) RX 5700 (€350/$400) RX 5700 XT (€440/$495) My question is wether the RTX 2070 is worth a $125 jump up in price or would you recommend to go for the 2060 Super or 5700 XT. Thanks, Anoraked

Joker is the man when it comes to Ultra-Wide Gaming info, and now he has gotten around to benchmarking AMD's new GPUs. His new benching machine is an R9 3900X + 64GB RAM system. The results show us that while both cards can hit 60+ FPS on 3440x1440p with High, but not Ultra settings on 90+% of even more demanding titles; that the NON-XT varient isn't really "recommended" for this resolution at these settings (in my opinion anyways), due to its 1% lows in more demanding titles tanking down to around 30-40 FPS, which will be noticable and annoying during gameplay. All in all though, I think the results are impressive and show us just how far the middle of the GPU market has come. I have been and still do recommend waiting on custom cards (3 weeks to go!) because remember, we now know that Navi Overclocks way better than RTX 2000. I would say that for ultra-smooth 3440x1440p/High gaming, you could take a well-cooled RX 5700-XT, Overclock by 10+% and guarantee yourself that creamy experience of 75-80+ FPS on NEARLY any game, which makes the experience even good enough for fast-paced FPS games. Leave the NON-XT varient for 2560x1440p or 2560x1080p.

Has anyone seen or gotten any benchmarks for 5700 or 5700XT in Premiere/Davinci or other video edit applications in 4k and 1080p workflows. I know for Premiere CUDA on Nvidia cards is preferred but I'm curious how it stacks up. I did see EposVox talk about it briefly in one of his videos on Navi and he did get some interesting/promising numbers. But I would like to see some more in depth information on them in this application especially regarding timeline performance (looking at playback resolution compared to frame drops) with GPU heavy effects, export time in different codecs and different encoding workloads.

Hi, I am not familiar with AMD Graphic Cards and now looking to buy RX 5700. What AIB card is good? In my country only several cards available now, such as: - MSI - RADEON RX 5700 MECH OC - POWERCOLOR - RED DEVIL RADEON RX 5700 - ASUS ROG STRIX Radeon RX 5700 OC - ASUS - TUF 3-RX5700-O8G-GAMING For me, the ROG is overpriced and I am quite interested in Gigabyte RX 5700 GAMING OC, should I wait for it until it available in my country? I also found SAPPHIRE Radeon RX 5700 XT PULSE 8GB that is cheaper than the ROG RX 5700. Is that a good card? Thank you.

Hi guys and gals, I've built a new rig to replace my old one and everything went smoothly until yesterday. I am a long time linux user and wanted to migrated my HDD from ext4 to ntfs to be able to use it for my games. So I set it up to transfer my files from the HDD to an external drive. It apparently tried to go to sleep since I was gone for a few hours but Ubuntu 19.04 does not yet support suspend on my Ryzen 5 3600, so I was stuck with a black screen as I got back. I tried to wake it up but had to resort to hold the power button for a few seconds to force it to turn off. Since then I can't get it to show anything on the display but the CPU and chassis fan just spin and act rather normal and even the GPU has a red light on. But that's about it. So the GPU does not even turn it's fan for a short time at POST. ? My rig CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 GPU: Sapphire AMD Radeon RX 5700 Pulse 8GB MOBO: Gigabyte B450M DS3H (Rev 1.0) RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport AT DDR4-3200 CL16 (2x8GB) PSU: CORSAIR Netzteil RMx Series RM650x 2018 HDD: Seagate 1TB (I don't know the specific model) Second rig for troubleshooting (works fine by itself) CPU: Ryzen 3 2200G MOBO: ASUS ROG Strix X470-I Gaming RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR4-3200 (2x4GB) What I tried The GPU was first only connected to a single PSU cable which connected first to the 8-pin and then the 6-pin connector. I tried to connect the GPU to two separate cables which did nothing I tried to boot it with my second pc but it only used the internal Vega 8 graphics The second pc did not recognize the RX 5700 in the BIOS but it worked for another GPU (Radeon R7 270) I DDUed the drivers from my second pc which did not help solve the issue I installed the drivers for the RX 5700 but even then did it not recognize it What works I verified that the PSU, HDMI cable and monitor work by setting the second pc up to use them. Those all work fine if the RX 5700 isn't connected. If you know anything to help me that would be absolutely fantastic. So please help, I don't want to have to throw away my new GPU.
