Hello. Just had a quick question about AIO radiators. I have a 120mm AIO cooler and I was just wondering how plausible it may be to replace the 120mm radiator to a 240mm or larger later on. I understand that these AIO aren't meant to be taken apart and such, but has anyone ever tried to do so? Thank you

I'm just starting to look into liquid cooling and custom setups seem like a really fun way to go. I'm confused at one thing though, all the custom setups seem to have CPU blocks with the tubes connected to the front and no screens of any kind whereas many AIO options have LCD screens. Why is that, and are there any non AIO options with LCD screens?

CABINET : Antec Torque white PSU : Antec HCG 750W RAM : Antec Katana 4x8GB 3600MHz CPU : Intel i9-10940X MOBO : ASRock X299 Taichi CLX VGA : Aorus Waterforce RTX2080 Super Liquid cooling by Bitspower From the eye-catching look of the Antec Torque that comes a linear and sober design that has as its main theme the famous game, Fallout. The modification procedures concern the external aspect with the use of specific fabrics with blue and yellow colors giving the connotation and main feature without weighing the view too much. The specific use in the liquid cooling compartment of material that combines blue and yellow parts in contrast, completes the work inside. Thanks to the sponsors of the project :

Hey everyone! So over the past few months I've been slowly planning a new build with the arrival of both the 3080 and AMD's new processors. I figured out most of what I wanted but I am now second guessing my choice in case. I was going to go with Fractal Design's Meshify C because of how highly rated it is for its airflow and also how compact it is. For comparison my current build uses a Corsair 750D airflow edition which takes up a lot of space. The problem I have with the Meshify C is the max length on the GPU really limits my choice of aftermarket 3080's. Most of the triple fan cards go beyond the 315mm limit. I cant remove a fan to make room either cause I want to have two 140mm fans at the front for intake. The other thing which none of these cases have issues with afaik is that I am planning to have a 240mm liquid AIO mounted at the top of the case. Now I am trying to decide between Lian Li's Lancool II Mesh and the Fractal Design Meshify 2. Starting out with the Lancool II Mesh I do like that it is still sorta small while obviously supporting a larger GPU. The airflow on this case seems to be very good and the half mesh panels on the side seem nice if youre mounting fans on the bottom. The cable cover panels are also a plus cause the double tempered glass looks clean. As for the Meshify 2, it seems more or less like you are getting everything you want from the Meshify C except bigger. The build quality of both those cases seem very high quality from what I've seen. I do prefer the fact that Meshify 2 has two filters on the front panel where the Lancool II Mesh only has the metal mesh and nothing actually filtering smaller particles. Even though the case doesnt stand as tall as my previous 750D, it is still about the same length at 21 inches. Overall, I really do like both cases and see pros and cons to picking one over the other. I keep going back and forth between the two and just want to know any of your guys thoughts on my decision or if any of you were looking between the same cases before and which one you chose. I am very excited to have this build finished eventually and thanks for any help or suggestions!

Budget (including currency): Stark Level USD Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: evee-thang from gaming to photography/videography, day trading, etc. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I'm going for as many monitors as possible, with two for gaming/streaming.. So, prob a no brainer, I'm looking to get a 3090 24gb card & I was wondering whether there were liquid cooling solutions for the founders edition, considering the size of the actual board is all wonky looking! OR should I wait until 1st quarter 2021 to try to knab a GeForce 3090 that will have a block of its size & may be cheaper most likely?? (I'm new to this & a little rusty on my build research stuff) As well I plan on getting 2, to SLI for additional hdmi ports. Appreciate any & all input!! Thanks in advance peoples! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

So iḿ planning to eventually buy the ryzen 5 1600x and for it, I really want to get this cooler but it only supports all the Intel sockets and ryzen sockets up to am3+ so I'm planning on modifying the bracket and just bending it a little bit. Are there any problems with this? Any answers are much appreciated. Cooler- https://www.frys.com/product/8436498;jsessionid=T+fLFsid8FO8XgNK7O40mA__.node4?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

I recently got a master liquid 240mm aio on sale for 65$, when it came I looked at it closely and say bent fins, I knew that was ok since they bend very easily, but I also noticed this little dent on what I'm assuming liquid goes through, I'm not sure if this small dent can turn into a leak or not, I won't use this aio for another few weeks or so as I'm waiting for money for the rest of my parts. Sorry for iPhone quality, this is the only dent I could see on the radiator.

Idea: Liquid cooling with 90% alcohol. Reasons: Depending on what kind of alcohol there is (the amount I mean) I can cool my system without having to worry about any crap growing in the loop as well as to go to very cold temperatures without freezing. In otherwords, I want to mount the cooling radiator outside of my winter home and not have to worry about those two things. I could go with a DIY Freon cooling system but do you know how much power that it will be pulling from the wall? A lot! If there any comments, thoughts and ideas please tell me. I'm willing to hear what you guys got.

Okay, so a while ago I was watching a video of a custom loop pc and saw something that got me really interested. I think it was JPModified but cannot find a video of it on his channel. I saw that they were using a Corsair h100i v2 for the cpu block, with hardline assumed PETG tubing. Does anyone know how this was done? I’m not looking to expand a Corsair h100i, the pump is definitely not strong enough I’m solely interested in using the cold plate with some PETG connected to the rest of my own loop.

HI, So I have an i7 7700k processor and I have paired it with corsair hydro h110i 280 mm AIO cooler. But my ideal temps at stock frequency and voltage are around 40-50 degree celcius. I have tried resetting the cooler multiple times, I have tried changing the thermal paste to arctic mx-4. I have tried 4 fans and push, pull, and push-pull methods, and I have tried changing fan and pump speeds to performance in corsair software, but my temps won't go under 40 degree. I have tried testing with side windows open so there is no air flow problem. I have it setup in the front of nzxt s340 case and fans are stock fans are pulling air in. I have two exhaust fans. I tried overclocking it to 4.8ghz at 1.250 volt and when i would stress the fpu, cpu and cache in aida64, temps reach 90c immidiately. Thats on the lowest stable voltage. My motherboard is msi z270 sli. I have read people saying their ideal temps in 20-30c with h110i, so I don't know what i am doing wrong. 40-50c temps at stock settings is too high. Can anybody please tell me if I am doing something wrong. Thanks for help.

Hello guys, First of all I would like to introduce myself. My name is Paweł and i'm from Poland. I'm working with my friend Karol as ExpendableCustoms. I visit LTT since 3 years but i never posted anything. This is my 3rd project so i decided that it's the right time to introduce myself. If you're interested here are links for my previous projects:All or Nothing and Lambda Core (still not finished - waiting for customs panels from Parvum). Feel free to check our profile at Facebook and Instagram for more content. Project: I would like to thank aquatuning.de for providing all water cooling suff. Without this support it would be much harder to start this little project. Few final shots of the project: A few words of introduction about the project. It all started from conversation with my brother-in-law about PC for my nephew, who graduated from elementary school this year. I offered to build PC for him, as a gift. It didn't take me much time to convience my brother-in-law that water cooled it the only way to go :thumb:. His only condition was case as small as possible. After working with monstrous L1.0 form Parvum choice was obvious for me. I decided to use smallest of all Parvum cases for this project - X2.0, exactly frosted clear version, which is not very popular. Frosted clear/satin plexi is main theme of this build. I'm going to use not only frosted X2.0 but also satin Alphacool CPU block, reservoir and tubing. Building LC loop in such small case will be very challenging, especially bending hard line tubing. At the beginning i didn't even know if all parts i'm going to use, will fit in the case. Only way to find this out was to create exact 3d model of whole build. It took me several hours to gather all necesary dimensions and create model in SketchUp. PC specs: Case: Parvum X2.0 Mobo: Asus Strix Z270i Gaming CPU: i5 7600k GPU: Zotac GtX 1080 Mini RAM: G.Skill Trident Z 2x8GB 3200MHz SSD: Crucial MX300 275GB M.2 PSU: Corsair SF450 Fans: 2x Noiseblocker PC-P and Noiseblocker PK-PS Monitor: Dell U2715H LC: CPU block: Alphacool Eisblock XPX Satin Clear Radiator: Alphacool NexXxoS ST30 140mm Pump: Alphacool Eisbecher DDC 150mm + Alphacool Satin Plexi Tube Tubing: Alphacool Eisrohr Satin 13/10mm Fittings: Alphacool Eiszapfen Buylog part of this worklog: Dell U2715H - 1440p, IPS, 60Hz. Great image and build quality. Mobo looks solid, i hope it will handle overclocked i5 7600k without any problems. Top plastic part will be painted yellow to match whole system. Match between motherboard radiator colour and RAM heatsink is perfect. I'm very pleased about this. Crucial MX300 275GB will be only drive for this PC, because it will be attached to high bandwidth with NAS, which will store all games/movies and music. Heart of system - little Corsair SF450 compared to 'normal' ATX HX1000i Due to lack of space i decided to use low profile fans at the back. Pump with standard reservoir tube... ... and with satin one. Color of fluid is not exactly what i was expecting, but it's easy to change. Of course i will make all cables from scratch. More pictures (including case) at Saturday or Sunday. Stay tuned :).

I am considering to buy a Corsair H100i RGB PLATINUM and am wondering how I can controll the A-RGB on the Pump/Block itself. Can I controll it with the Corsair Lightning node Pro? Thanks For Answers.

So this is MyPc: Don’t want to use AIO right now (not planning to) so so if I don’t want AIO, then I don’t need 240 Radiator, then I don’t need a Filter if I’m correct. (new to this stuff so kinda confused if I should get a filter for the fans for this case Rosewill mid tower atx ?)

Hey Guys, Just a quick Question. I know that Asetek is providing its Radiators and Pumps to basically every AIO Producer out there. But what I dont know, are there any "real benefits" of using for example an Corsair H115i over the standard Asetek 570lxl? Like yeah you get that brand name (I dont care) and sometimes RGB (I dont care either), but are there any other benefits? For example I know that for example the Corsair AIOs control the Fan Speed via its software and they measure the temperature of the Liquid and dont control the Fans via the Temperature of the CPU. As far as I know the Asetek doesnt have anything like that, so there your Radiator Fans will work with the CPU Temperature. Could that become an Issue? Because I'm thinking about getting one of the following Options: Asetek 570lxl + Noctua Redux 1700 pwm Fans Corsair H115i (prob. need to exchange the fans as well) NZXT Kraken X62 (would be way more expensive than the first option). on an I7 6700K delid with Liquid Metal (aiming for around 5000) System should stay at around 40db or under. Let me know your thoughts...

Hola mi amigos! What do you guys think is the "optimal" pump speed on liquid pumps? Should the pump be on max for a consitent speed and optimal cooling or should it be toned down for less wear or just auto where it adjust the speed accordingly to the cpu/water temp? Greetings!

Hi, I have a question concerning the laing D5 pump. On a ddc is a thermal pad below the pump ( if You remove it your pump burns and dies xD) which can be replaced. My question is if the d5 has one too and where can I buy one?(living in Germany )

Just to clear things up before people get mad, The cooler was plugged in with a molex adapter and ran almost every day full tilt for at least 4 years. The cooler was clogged beyond use and wasn't adequate for a 4790k anyway. A Cooler Master ML240 RGB has already taken it's place. Alright, A few hours ago i tried removing the base plate of a clogged Corsair H80i to try flipping it on Craigslist or something. I unknowingly dumped the old coolant, extremely yellow and full of particles, down the drain. I've watched some rebuild tutorials of people preserving the original coolant with a syringe or not draining it at all. The cooler doesn't have a fill port, how in gods name do i refill this thing? (pic before i cleaned it)
