Can gpu sag because applied thicker not soft thermal pads than before on ram. Its looking a little bent now with right ram pads and I think it not touching cpu correctly, it have a little bit space between I think, its notfully pressed. So, now its 4C° hotter than before. Also I reapplied paste to many times to check if I've applied it right. I always use same paste and paste isnt problem, also I putted right pads as before. So, my question is: Can bad not soft thicker pads bent gpu pcb if it strong screwed. If its bent and not touching heatsink correctly and cpu is 4C° hotter how can I fix it ?

Hi guys I'm a bit OC with my wires and I really find my headset wire being unnecessarily long because I'm already plugging it to a USB splitter. Will folding it and holding it together with zip ties damage it? My headset is a Fantech HG22 7.1 Surround. Here's an image of how I did it: Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you!

Hi- I just wanted to ask for those who own air coolers that are heavy (such as those with 2 or more fans on it), how do you exactly deal with the slack? (aside from setting up your PC lying down) My air cooler, Jonsbo CR2000GT is a bit heavy and is slightly slacking downwards due to the weight.

is it ok or bad practice to bend cables like 180 degrees or braid/twist the cables to have a neater look and shorten excess cable? please tell me if there are certain cables that can be bent a lot and which cannot. thx

So today my new Mainboard arrived and one of four pins on the Cha_fan3 is bend and is it bad( I’m sorryfor my bad English) does it still work if I connect my fans?

Hey guys, so recently i moved a clients/friend pc into a new case (the corsair Spec alpha) and i noticed he had used one of those brackets to use an aAIO on his GPU the card is a 1080 FE but, i noticed he had overtightened making the card bent arround the die area, i released some stress, but the bend looks permanent, u guys know were can i get a backplate that allowes screws to pass? i need to get more rigidity to the card but can onmly get form sites that ship internationally, would prefer amazon if possible

Hi guys, a friend of mine has managed to bend some of the pins in his socket, i think that we can fix this easily with twizzers and a magnifying glass. The problem is the missing pin, i would like to know what was its function and if the cpu could work correctly. I searched for a 1151 pin layout but couldnt find it, if its the same than in 1150 it should be a vtt pin. We need your help, we dont have a spare CPU to try to boot and dont want to risk the cpu (6600k)

I recently purchased the Thermaltake Pacific RL240 D5 Hard Tube Water Cooling Kit, and am planning on bending the tube instead of having straight runs connected via 90 Degree fittings and so forth purely from a cost and point of failure standpoint, and I was wondering if there are alternate ways of bending tubing aside from a heat gun, as i dont have a heatgun and would avoid buying one if possible.for clarification the tubes in the kit are V-Tubler PETG Tube 16mm(5/8") OD and 12mm ID, and i have 2m of it. This laptop is very much a concept with the reveal speakers stating that the vision would be fulfilled by using "advanced materials" and "new screen technologies." Obviously very specific in the way they presented it. Although this may come in the near future, I have to echo the author's disbelief and skepticism on the subject of Lenovo's complete abandonment of a touch pad in favor of using stylus, voice control and tracking nub as the devices main means of navigation. This piece of news might not be the most surprising stuff out at the moment but would make for some good ground to debate the future efficacy of bendable devices and portable media after Samsung released their fordable smartphone earlier this year.

There is a pin ( the yellow one) where the little dot is broken or bend al the way down. Can someone tell me if this is a problem ? My pc didnt boot into windows soo I bend some pins back that's the only one not 100% aligned . The pin is just above the middle on the left

So recently I moved in a new home and I had my PC shipped to me from my old house today. I am an idiot apparently. I know I should have taken the graphics card with me but I forgot. So because of the weight, the card bent the socket. Can I use the second PCI slot at full speed? I can in fact see that it does NOT have all the pins. Will it work at half speed? Is there any noticeable real world performance loss? Maybe I can still use the first PCI normal even though it's bent? Can I, by any means, fix it myself (it won't move when I push it down)? Motherboard: Asus Z170 A GPU: EVGA 1070 FTW

Hi, I've recently built my new system and it runs wonders, but I've started to notice that it is slightly bent on the right side of the backplate, above the power cables. Should I be concerned? What are the options I can take? I'm thinking among the lines of using cardboard and ducktape to make a stand to support it or something.

Hello everyone, I would appreciate a little help from those of you who know a bit about this headset. I bought it recently and even tho i've put it around the box to stretch,the headband seems very tight and makes the cups press against my tempels so hard they give me a headache after only 30 min of wearing them. Should i try to bend the band? Is the metal gonna break if i do that? I was thinking to bend them from the top,where the logo is, but of course i don't want to ruin them. I am so upset about this issue,specially because i find them to be so amazing. P.S.: I've seen another post about this,but as it was so old i figured i should start a new topic..hope i did right Thank you very much, have a nice day!

So here are my concerns. My newly bought mobo has bent. And it's pissing me off. I was having trouble installing it into the case, because the mobo doesn't align with the standoffs when the i/o shield is on in my lepa lpc 307 case. So I was being a little rough, but only because of how frustrating it is for you motherboard to be 2 cm off of what the case is. TRULY FRUSTRATING. Anyways, I'm either going to return or buy a new case. But I'm worried for my mobo. Idek wtf happened to the usb port.

Hello community, Anyway, it has been over a year since I have had my iPhone 6 I will say it was a great experience well maybe because I upgraded from a phone with a text pad. Anyway, since I have had the phone it has been cocooned in its case, so I decided to take it out, and it also was very dirty around the open edges. Also note this was not the first time I took it out of its case. Anyway, I noticed the case looked weird although I don't think this was the cause(it had a weird drop that sort of looked like the bend so it could possibly be it). So, I held the phone horizontally and looked and noticed it was bent, I have heard that when it was released it would often bend but I bought this phone a few months after this problem was "resolved" and thought I was ok. But when I had the phone I noticed things like: when I would press down on certain spots there was an odd popping like noise, also not to long ago something happened or at least I just noticed that when the phone was on but I was looking at a fully black screen there was a white tint towards the right of the phone like it was a spotlight on that edge. Anyways, I just wanted to get this story out and want to know if this happened to anyone else and want to know your guys' input on the subject, btw I treated my phone like it was a child, I guess I am a bad parent.

I recently got a new pair of headphones to use primarily with my desktop PC. As such, they stay plugged into the front audio port on my case (Fractal Design R5). However, the 3.5mm cable is straight-tipped, not a right angle, and as my case is on top of my desk it is constantly being bent as I use them. I'm worried that this will eventually break the cable, and I don't have the option to move my desktop down to the floor. Anyone found any creative solutions to this potential problem?

While building in my matx case I noticed it only has 4 motherboard stand offs, but my motherboard takes up to 6. This meant when I was building a portion of my motherboard was suspended without support from any stand offs. This lack of support and applying pressure to my motherboard caused it to bend. My PC has since booted without any problems as far I know. Does this mean I got away with it? Or is it still possible I've damaged the motherboard?

Ive noticed my GTX 970's are sagging some, im wondering if looks like to much and i need to do something at this point. I notice a lot of people online with more sag in their cards and using them for like 3+ years. Let me know what you guys think! DA

I've looked at pics of the define r5 and it looks like there may be a bend in the motherboard tray which would mean that it would be a bad idea to use a mobo like the Asus ws-e which has a slightly wider body and builds that would use that are kinda power hungry and the define has more *certified support for psu like the v1200 or the ax1200i -
