Steve from Gamers Nexus has just reviewed Nvidia's new RTX 4070-Super. In the benchmarks he states that GTA V is still included because it still scales on modern cards. If you ask me, this near-decade old game still being demanding can only mean that GTA VI will probably be one of the most demanding games ever released. With performance on GTA V still this relevant and demanding, I wonder just how low the FPS will go in GTA VI. Im sure even my Radeon RX 7900-XTX will have a hard time pushing triple-digit FPS at my 3440x1440p resolution with a mix of High and Ultra settings. Just something random to think about

Well talk about the biggest tease in gaming history... Me: Hears GTA VI trailer has been uploaded to the official RockStar Gaming YT Channel Me: Goes "Hell Ya, Welcome to a New Era of Gaming People!" Me: Watches the trailer in awe at the insanely good graphics and realism despite the size of the world. Me: Sees "Coming in 2025" at the end of the trailer Me: "F*** You Rockstar" So apparently we have probably about 18 months to go. Well, at least it looks very promising.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone can help me disable the auto overclock settings on my system. My temps are between 55 and 60 C on average, and start climbing to 80 C as soon as I run any game. Clock speed is always +4 GHz due to the settings in the BIOS I think. I believe the settings are overkill and causing my temps to rise. I've tried going into the BIOS to "disable" the auto overclock, but it's not as easy as it sounds. For someone without any background like me at least. I tried going over chapter 3 in the motherboard manual but I couldn't figure out what I need to change exactly. Manual link: https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/SocketAM4/ROG_CROSSHAIR_VIII_FORMULA/E15393_ROG_CROSSHAIR_VIII_FORMULA_UM_WEB.pdf Looking forward to get some feedback. I wonder if it's possible to set it up (preferably without any 3rd party software), so that Rotation lock (screen rotation) is set to ON when my keyboard is attached (it's a 2in1) so that the sensor doesn't waste battery while I'm on a desk for example, and when I detatch the keyboard, automatically have the Rotation lock set to OFF (so that my screen would rotate when tilted). This is inspired by my partially broken screen where the touch wouldn't work and I cannot interact with my left bottom corner (start button and everything around it). If anyone knows how to make this happen, please let me know! Thanks in advance! :) P.S. currently if rotation lock isn't off from my last sesion, I can't type in my password to unlock the screen.

Recently i had an incident where my gpu automatically shut itself off while on idle. Rest of the system was on( Cpu fans etc). The power pins for the GPU lit up indicating it was receiving power. I had to turn off power completely as restart wouldn't do anything. Booted up again everything was fine. Again 3-4 hours later same case. I always monitor my gpu temps and they are around 45°c on idle and then it happened again. I removed the gpu and tried to boot from on board vga. Result No signal. Then i used an old gpu amd 5450 something that was lying around didn't get any signal as well. I haven't plugged in my 1080 again to avoid damage to gpu. What is the issue if anyone can help me out. Every time i reboot(Complete off and on again) The system functions normally. Any help or advice will be appreciated. Edit: To add ran furmark tests on 4k, 1080p and both tests passed.

I've got 2 2TB barracudas and i want to have one folder in my main drive copy itself onto the my secondary HDD automatically, f.e. every time i change the document on main drive it should change the document on secondary drive or check for differences every 1 hr or so and update accordingly. What's my best choice of software in this situation? it's quite a simple task i would say and should not require anything fancy, a good user interface of couse is favored.

Here is just going to be a basic build log by me updated whenever I can get the chance. Currently building a 95 Acura Legend that blew a headgasket and snapped a timing belt so I picked it up for $100 Price Breakdown: $500 for the car $119.95 for valves and stem seals $104.95 for full gasket kit, Excluding the head gaskets as I want to buy fel-pro ones Update: Intake Manifold is out and it stripped apart being ready to have the carbon cleaned out of it EGR Pipe, Valves, and other assorted stuff is out and off the intake! Took it apart and found out I had 10 bent valves! So im going to be buying this instead of sourcing each individual valve http://www.ebay.com/itm/251334048086 Should work out don't see why not Head completely torn apart, just need to be resurfaced, and needs new valve stem seals Cams, Rocker arms, And lifters out and ready to be checked for even wear, straightness, and maybe even just being replaced. If you look at the Camshaft its suffering massive wear on the lobes. 7/1/2017 Sent the heads off to get resurfaced! They had about 3.5 thousands of warp but the max amount he could take off was 8 thou so I'm good! Said I should get them back Monday and then I plan on ordering the valves and then a full set of either OEM gaskets and seals or fel-pro gaskets 7/5/2017 Got the heads back monday but I failed to update this thread. Ordered some hood struts, new heater core valve, and a few connectors to repair my harness

Looks like Google could not wait for IO19 to start, and has already announced one new feature coming later this summer. A brand new UI for Android Auto. The biggest functionality change is that you now have a persistent controls for another app, such as music at the bottom of the screen. This allows things like GPS navigation and music controls at the same time. Currently you need to switch app if you want to for example change song while using the GPS (unless your car has a dedicated button for it like my Golf has). Here is how the old UI looked: And here is the new UI: Another big change is that Google has moved away from the card style design and gone with a more traditional app launcher. As you can see in these screenshots, it also has a dark mode. Other highlight features: More details will be revealed today during the "What's New with Android for Cars", starting at 4 pm PST. Lately I've been posting videos on my test YouTube channel shot on older 4:3 cameras for my show, and I've noticed that when I play the video back it doesn't match the original version straight from my editor. The noise in my footage was either automatically reduced by Youtube or was compressed to the point of certain details in the footage (such as noise) being lost. Now all my footage looks more modern and almost cropped to 4:3 because of the lack of noise showing up in the test video (ruining my trademark 80s look). Is anyone else having this problem? Most obvious example would clearly be: testchannel1 outro1 which clearly has auto noise reduction

So I was looking at all the stuff the stream deck can do and it made me wonder. Is there a way to build a small device with a couple buttons that could do things like automatically open a program when u push and stuff like that??

With the absolutely insane amount of phones out today I thought I would recruit you all for some help. I'm looking for a decent phone for my mom. Her current phone is a Huawei P20 Lite I think? It's a bit sh*t and doesn't want to connect to Android Auto in her Kia so she's getting frustrated. She's almost 60 which isn't really that old but just old dog new tricks so something with as simple a UI and settings as possible will be a bonus, she doesn't care about Android's infinite customizability. Storage size isn't a huge issue either as she doesn't have many apps or photos. She wants wireless charging because she has that in her Kia as well and wants to use it. I would like to be on the budget end of the spectrum but I'd probably be able to get into the £600-700 range if it was justified. She isn't majorly swayed by how a phone looks but if it comes with a sparkly blue back (like her Huawei does) or something similar it'll just make her happy. I'm also trying to stick the major brands as well (Samsung, Google, LG, OnePlus etc.) not Chinese stuff like Huawei. Any help would be amazing! Thanks!

Auto cpu speed control on overclocked cpu?
Momenaut posted a topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
I have an old 3570k that's showing it's age in newer games, and I would like to overclock to get a little more juice out of it. But I would like my overclock to have that smart ai speed control (which the name of eludes me atm...) that keeps the clock speed down when I don't need it. Is that possible on an overclocked cpu and one of my generation? -
Is there an auto clicker that automatically clicks when the pointer turns into the hand pointer? Thanks

So I am running the most recent whql drivers and I want to get different SLI auto working on my 1060 6gb and 980ti. Apparently it can be done with the newest drivers but I can't find the nvlddmkm.sys file. Some people have "expanded" the nvlddmkm.sy_ file but I have no idea how to go about that. And why can't I change the code for the program to use the .sy_. I will take any help I can get.

Hello everyone, Recently I updated the driver of the integrated "HD 630" graphics card. However, since that update, at least so it seems to me, the display keeps changing the brightness and contrast based on the displayed image: -on white web pages, the brightness increases and the contrast turns to "normal" -if then a dark picture appears, (or simply a dark background - for example the desktop wallpaper or a youtube video) the brightness decreases (it seems as if the brightness is changing from something like 75% to 25%) and the contrast changes so that the image is (slightly) oversaturated. I did some research, tried some solutions, but nothing helped. I tried: -disabling adaptive brightness in the advanced energy saving options of the control panel -disabling the "display energy saving" option in the Intel graphics control panel -reinstalling the driver This "feature" is quite annoying since it's very noticeable (it takes about 2 sec until it begins to adjust brightness/contrast), so if anyone has an idea of how to solve this issue, I would be grateful. Best regards, Matthias Here some information that could be useful: CPU: i7-7700HQ GPU: Intel HD Graphics 630 Laptop: 17,3" Cosmos VI (PcSpecialist)

Is there any way to force Youtube to auto load the videos and play in the background tabs? I always use the middle click function on Chrome to get the video playing in the background but I have switch over to the tab to start loading the page and video but I don't have the time for it. Is there any extensions or program that can solve this problem?

So, i recently got my new PC all build and ready to game, after living with integrated graphics for the past year, I couldn't wait to get them good graphics, and with that came GTA V. I loaded the game up and was surprised how good my little 960 made the game look. But that love was soon crushed. After playing for ~10 seconds my game froze for approximately 3 seconds. I assumed it was just loading more things, but it continued to do it all through the starter missions and it was unplayable. I Tried lowering the setting but no avail. Please, i would like some suggestions. Rig: GPU: GTX 960 OC edition CPU: AMD Athlon X4 880k 16 GB RAM 600w psu 1tb sshd Help.

So I picked myself up a Corsair Katar gaming mouse recently. Because I have no personal need for on-the-fly dpi change, I decided to go into the Corsair Utility Engine and set the profile to the Premade Corsair auto-fire. This works great for CS:GO, however it seems to stop working after 20 minutes of my PC being on. I would want to know if anyone else has the same problem? If so, please share how you fixed it. Thank you! - Chris D.
