Today I have received my led magnetic type c cable and I'm just a bit worried now. It is functional and working with fast charging so this isn't something 'cheap' or is it. I bought this on AliExpress which wasn't such a smart idea but had good reviews so I said why not. Overall my total came out to £3.07 GBP equivalent to $3.87. I was charging fine, still is, I felt the plug usb a connector and it was pretty hot felt like 35 degrees Celsius (95 Fahrenheit) not sure didn't have a thermal camera or any of that kind of tech. If this helps in temperature-wise it is just bearable to touch. It has a a metal wall surrounding the circuit underneath data + data - you get it and I'm just worried as I feel like it shouldn't be this hot. However the cable is thin which probably doesn't help aswell. Can I get any suggestions on why and if this is alright to be happening or is there a plan B?

After using a screwdriver to forcefully release the PCIe lock and knocking against the motherboard, I hot-swapped a GPU. I had read online that nVidia and Microsoft had updated software to allow hot-swapping PCIe cards and GPUs. The GPU was not in use (video was connected to onboard graphics). Motherboard will not turn on now but does light up, albeit irregularly.

I have led lights connected to my tv, wich I use as I main monitor but they reset every time I turn the tv off. (Problems with the cheap lights controller that doesn't matter I can set up an automation to turnoff lights with an ir blaster and that saves my config but when they loose power it doesn't ) I need my old Samsung TV's usb ports to stay powered on when I turn off the tv. this tv is from 2010-2013ish, if the model number helps I can add it, but I think all samsungs for a while used the same usb controller.

Specs: Gigabyte B450M-DS3H Ryzen 5 2600x 16GB DDR4 (2x 4GB Team Elite, 2x 4GB Kingston) Gigabyte RX 570 4GB Kingston A400 120GB SSD WD Blue 1TB HDD WD Blue 500GB HDD DeepCool Gammaxx GTE CPU cooler Corsair VS550 550W PSU Video attached of issue So as you've read from the title, my PC randomly has times where it puts out no display with the PC on. As this happens, the CPU cooler's light as well as the GPU's light keep turning on and off. There is no beep code and whatnot, just silence, no display, and it looping like that until I turn it off. This has happened about 3 times. The first two came from when I was just normally using my PC, but then it was performing horrendously. It was constantly stuttering and everything was really choppy and slow. I restarted it, and the issue happened. The third time was when I accidentally bumped my knee on the bottom of my table, my display went out, and the issue would occur. I've only "fixed" this by reseating GPU and RAM, resetting CMOS and taking out the CMOS battery. This would sometimes work, and sometimes won't. This issue really confuses me as I have no idea what it is since I havent seen anything else about it. PC is running fine now, but I would like to know the source of this issue in case it ever happens again. VID_20211212_000335.mp4

I have an LED strip connected with a four pin connector to USB and it lights up fine. Except it lights up in only one pattern and I would like to sync it with Asus Aura sync or corsair Icue but I have not been successful. How can I sync these?
-
Randomly, my keyboard will stop the lighting sequence, ex. Rainbow, type lighting, and will freeze at a certain color. I can fix it by clicking on Corsair's Icue software and it will return to normal. However, in Icue, it says the stored profile does not match the one saved to ICUE and it tells me I need to save the profile. Whenever I do that, it deletes whatever profile I have and I need to remake it.

This is the 4 pin RGB strip of lights with the 4-pin headers and when I plugged it into the 4 pin header on my Asus X570 Gaming Plus motherboard. I plugged in my PSU and turned it on and the Asus Aura sync lights on the mbd light up and these did not light up. Do I need an RGB controller instead? It says RGB header on the mbd btw.

Hey guys, would aura sync still work with cooler master fans if the motherboard is msi (carbon gaming pro max wifi) and is controlled by the msi mystic light? The cooler master fans are connected to the cpu fan 1 headers and system fan 2 but the aura sync software won't pick them up. 1 is an argb and the other 2 are rgb.

I have a Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro WiFi. I have for the most part successfully installed everything except the GPU (I don’t have yet). Essentially, I turn on the PSU (RM750x) and the motherboard flickers white quickly. Here’s where it differed from other topics I’ve seen online about this; Mine actually turns on after the white flicker. All my RGB components successfully turn on and light up. I’ve done the BIOS, installed windows, and have even setup some of my desktop applications. Is this dangerous? Should I just leave the PSU on and use the on/off button? Is it a damaged Motherboard? Thanks for any help.

I just finished my first build but have a fan issue. 1 of my 3 rgb front fans (deepcool rf120s) doesn’t spin, BUT lights up with the the rest. I unplugged it many times. What do I do? It shows up at Bios at 0 RPM and used to start but stop, but now it is fully stopped. I don’t know what to do. I’ve been fumbling around with the cables unplugging them from the mono but nothing is working.

Hi. I hope i posted into the right place. Recently i did a build for someone that even if i told him i`m not yet into rgb and lights setups he wanted to do something. I failed of course on syncing the pump with the lights from the fan and that is the reason i am here. First here are the components MB: B450 Gaming X Case:AQIRYS Arcturus ARGB AIO CPU Water Cooling: CPU ID-Cooling Zoomflow 240 RGB MB Might have the right headers for them but i did not manage to find out which or i failed from the start and actually does not have any support for that Case: Has her own fans 3xfront 1xback and a RGB controller on the back of the case - that came with the case + remote AIO:Has also RGB and a lot of rats nests cables and a non existing manual .. just a piece of paper with two ways of setup What i want from this is to sync the AIO with the included RGB case fans with the help of the MB nothing more. They work separately but not together. The fans can be controlled from software of the MB and REMOTE AIO just from the remote What i suspect is that the MB might be the culprit but you guys might share some light into this. Heads up : I don`t have direct access anymore at the PC but i can ask for some pictures but i don`t think they will help a lot because of multiple cables from AIO + CASE FANS Thanks in advance if someone can help!

I have 12v 4-pin RGB headers on my motherboard, so I got this strip from Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07YJLXTN4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 But the light is so bright, it lights up the room. I only wanted it to glow over my parts to add a bit of color, and I can't seem to dim it with software. It was also one of the shortest I could find on Amazon at 30cm, when I only really need <20cm. Could you recommend some lighting for just a subtle glow?

I was going over my list of parts I want to get for my first gaming PC as well as having fun with the I des of anything I may want to buy in the future when I ran into the question. I saw that the mobo had two, 12v rgb headers, one 5v, and one Corsair one. I want to get the cooler master ml240l aio but idk what header it plugs into. This also raised a concern as to how the fans on the Phanteks p400a plug into rgb and fan headers. I know there are three fans but does it route to just one cable to the MoBo and if so, which rgb header does it go to, I want to know which rgb header I still have available for possibly some rgb light strips but didn’t know which header I could use. If anyone has any recommendations on that front, thanks. TL;DR: What type of rgb header does cooler master ml240l go to? How do the case fans from the phanteks p400a plug in for rgb? What are some recommendations for rgb light strips?

So, i purchased a ASUS TUF B450-PLUS GAMING motherboard and a Fortron CMT340 case. When i wanted to plug in the RGB, i discovered that my motherboard and case have different RGB headers than my MB, so i can´t plug the case RGB controller into the motherboard. (the third image is the fan+rgb case controller). Is there any way i can connect the RGB sync to the motherboard? Am i missing some header on the motherboard? Will i have to purchase a reduction? Will i have to eat shit?

I am having a rather unusual problem with my new PC build. I have been using the PC perfectly fine for almost a month now. I had some blue screen issues for the first week, but I got them figured out and it's been working fine since, at least until now. I had been playing a game for maybe 5-10 minutes (one that I've played for over an hour at a time with no problems) when my PC randomly crashed. No blue screen, and I don't think it overheated since I hadn't been playing long. It just died. It was as if all power got cut off for a second. Now, when I turn the power supply on, the lights on my motherboard (an Asrock B450 Steel Legend) and my RAM flicker every 2-3 seconds, as if it is trying to turn on, but crashing instantly. Additionally, when I press the power button, nothing happens. The thing that's odd about the motherboard lights turning on is that I don't even have them set to stay on when the PC is off. I recently disabled the RAM and motherboard lights so they wouldn't stay on when the PC was shut down because it annoyed me having them on. Should I try clearing my CMOS and see if that fixes the issue? I really don't know exactly what caused this, or how I can fix it. Any help that could be given would be greatly appreciated.

Good Day everyone! I am writing because I would like to add more lighting to my desktop, but can't seem to figure out the specific name of this old controller I have. I have this specific controller and light because they are a holdover from a desktop I had that been built for me from my dad back in 2007. For hardware time stamping purposes, that old desktop had an old AMD athlon (post-upgrade). That desktop died around 2011. I do think that the light specifically was added when the old desktop was upgraded from Windows 2000 to Windows XP at around 2009. Anyways, the TL;DR is that I have a really old controller and light and am trying to figure out what specifically they are such that I can add additional lights via the second pin port. I would also like to use the light specifically because it has sentimental value to me.

I have been thinking about getting an LED strip light for a long time now, but have just not bitten the bullet yet. Until I found one at the local bin store. It came with the power cable minus the part that plugs into usual desktop computers but I have a box full of those cables at home. Anyways, when I took it home, there was no remote when I got home. Are remotes for led strips universal? For example, could I buy another led light strip and use that one remote for both?
