So I've been using a LG NANO85 TV with my laptop (Windows 10) and If I lock the computer the tv will eventually go to sleep because windows turns off the displays after a short time when the system is locked. After this happens the TV will not turn back on if I move the mouse (the laptop display does wake up fine). The only way to get the TV to turn back on is to press the power button on the remote or TV itself which also disconnects and reconnects it from the PC for some reason which moves around all the windows I had before. If anyone knows of a setting on the TV or in Windows I'm missing feel free to tell me about it.

It’s going to be temporary and I found it thrown away downstairs. Apparently, the TV does not switch on. I found the reason why, the charging cable and port had been fried. It has clearly melted and is now crumbly. It looks like I can easily replace the port and cable (if I can find the parts on eBay) but is the TV worth it saving? I don’t want to spend hundreds of pounds repairing the TV. (I also checked and the warranty only lasted for a year ) Here’s the TV model: lg 50pk350 Thanks in advance!

2020 65UN70006LA keeps disconnecting. Then you have to manually turn off the wifi and on again on the TV. It does this with all my routers. Nokia Beacon 1, Asus AC68U, Asus AC86U. Tried for fun my old routers. Linksys EA2700, Asus RT-N56U. Same thing. Is the WiFi modules really so cheap/bad in LG TVs.

Hi, I was wondering if buying the 34UC79G monitor is still a good idea (potential uses: FPS gaming, watch series and work, no image edition) . I found a second hand unit for about 400 USD but it was launched almost 5 years ago. Should I better go for a newer one with 4k resolution, even if it costs a lil more? What are your top 3 monitors right now (under 500 USD)?

Hello everyone, first time writing here, nice to meet you. I'm in a bit of a pickle with two main questions and a story. After all those ads, Top X ranking etc. I've decided to finally jump into 4k 144hz and bought LG 27GN950-B about 4 months ago and well... On the first one, DP broke after exactly one month (exactly 1st to 1st of the next month). Monitor was being detected by windows but the display was black, the integrated menu stuck showing 0Hz (HDMI worked fine). Sent it to my local LG and after 1,5 months and some back and forth, got a reply that They don't have highend enough PC to test the monitor, 60hz works and I will get a new one - fine. Got the new one, DP immediately had artifacts, I've updated the firmware just to be sure - no change. Sent to LG again. Half a month - received the same unit with "fixed DP connections". EXACTLY to a second - one month of using after that... The same issue as the first replaced monitor. DP output suddenly died. Windows sees monitor just fine, menu shows 0Hz. Resetting any display settings does not help. I have tried DDU and other things but I am pretty sure that's not my PC's fault (both monitors worked fine for a month. I can post pc specs if that's relevant). TLDR; - Has anyone else had/heard about issues with that monitor? I was looking around a bit and found lack of such issues online. Am I the unluckiest person in my region to have all LG replacements break on me? - What are good 4k 144hz GSync/GSync-compatible alternatives for this monitor around the same price (maybe $100-200 more if necessary)? I can replace it again but to be honest I feel done with LG for the time being. And I hope for a refund. I don't care for HDR. Had some issues with Nvidia Shadowplay and HDR but I am open to revisit the idea of HDR. I am aware of Acer Predator series and some Asus ROG Strix monitors at 4k 144hz but found no comprehensive comparison between all those models and the 27GN950-B. Thank you for your help

Hello people, after using a fairly good IPS monitor as my gaming one, i was looking into upgrading it sometime in the next couple of weeks and as such i have decided to go for a 144 Hz one. I found one about 8 months ago ( https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-27gl63t-b-gaming-monitor ) and so far it seems good. Now i was thinking since i have chosen this monitor around 8 months ago and just kept it in file i have done some digging again and found the Asus TUF Asus VG279QR ( https://www.asus.com/Displays-Desktops/Monitors/TUF-Gaming/TUF-GAMING-VG279QR/ ) I have read that the TUF one is better but since its a new monitor i didnt saw any reviews ( the only ones were for different models ). My budget is 300 euros ( aprox 350$ ) but could stretch it to 350e or 420$ and one of the MUST HAVEs of my new monitor is to have Height Adjustment ( dont care about pivot ), i was looking for a 1080p 144 Hz and 27 inch ( yeah i know pixels and stuff but i dont care about that as i have poor eye sight anyway xD ) but if no 27 inch ones are good then 24 inch is also good. I would also like it to be IPS Dont care about brand, dont care about blue light filters / options / free or gsync If you have a better recommendation than these 2 im happy to hear about it If you need anything more feel free to ask

It is an lg 55UB820V. The TV is around 6 years old and it has started getting slowly a couple of months ago. It struggles with switching channels (didn’t happen before) and often crashes and switches off or freezes if you change too many at once. Any way to fix it? And what parts should be replaced? Thanks!

A few months ago I got an LG Ultragear 32GN50T Monitor and since I've gotten it I've noticed that it slightly hides a few columns of pixels on the left side, which isn't much of a problem except it makes discord messages slightly harder to see, I didn't think too much of it Today I noticed that theres a few black columns of pixels on the right side that are about the same amount, which makes me think that it is just being shifted over. I've tried doing a few things that I google suggested to no avail: resetting to factory settings, reinstalling the driver, using a different port on the card, using a different display port cable, using a different input all together(hdmi), changing the refresh rate, changing display resolution, going into windows settings. Theres no settings for shifting the picture over a few pixels, no position option I could find in the Nvidia control panel, so Im stumped. Its not the end of the world because its like 5 pixels, but it will probably annoy me forever. Attached is a picture of my mouse at the top left corner of the screen showing just how offset it is Any tips or ideas without having to send it to the manufacturer would be greatly appreciated and incase its relevant I've got an RTX 2060 and this issue doesn't happen on my other monitor(which is not the same model)

I bought a LG 24GN50W-B a couple months ago, and used in on a PC with a 750 Ti until I built a new PC. Well I overpayed for a used 5600 XT and I have my new PC up and running. But for some reason, whenever the output selected is that of my 5600XT, the monitor limits itself to 120 Hz. When the input is changed to a different PC with a GTX 750 Ti, then it's refresh rate is 144 Hz. I have confirmed this with the monitor's OSD. I have swapped ports, cables, inputs, only plugged in one at a time, and looked through every page in the monitor's OSD and nothing changes this oddity. This monitor does not have any documentation on the LG website, but the product's page does confirm a 1080p, 144 Hz, TN panel.

Hi all! I recently upgraded my rig to a Gigabyte 2070 Super (new, not refurb or reman) and i9-9700k. With that upgrade I purchased a new monitor, the 27GL850-B, 27" LG 1440p 144hz monitor connected via DisplayPort. I have a second 24" Dell monitor connected via DVI -> HDMI converter. The LG is intermittently and randomly flashing a black screen for a split second. The second monitor is fine. I tried an HDMI cable, yet it still flickers. Its not exclusive to any activity or app running as it flickers even when I'm not gaming or watching a video. Yet there's no pattern or consistency. Sometimes I'll go a full day with no issues, other times (like as I write this) it flickers five times every ten seconds. I'm inclined to believe it's not my GPU, as my second monitor would be flickering as well(?) yet I'm hesitant to return this monitor as I managed to get one with almost zero backlight bleed (IPS perks). EDIT: I take cooling very seriously. My CPU never exceeds 50° and my GPU never exceeds 55° even when playing on Ultra displaying in 2K. What I've done/tried: G-Sync disabled Freesync disabled Smart Energy Disabled HDMI Cable Updated GPU driver System Specs: Problematic Monitor - 27GL850-B (around 160 hours of display time) Unproblematic Second Monitor - Dell S2316M (too many hours of display time) i9-9700k Gigabyte 2070 Super 8GB MSI Z390-A Pro Crucial Ballistix 2x16 EVGA 750W 80+ Gold Samsung 860 Evo SSD Help!! My apologies for the video quality, I'm not sure why it's ruined. Video.mov

I've been experiencing a very weird issue and googling isn't turning up anything. I've reported the behavior to AMD multiple times but got no response. What will happen, is that sometimes when waking my monitor from sleep Windows will have changed from my monitor's native resolution and refresh rate to 1280*1024 60Hz. It will not change back unless I disconnect the monitor from the computer or reset the driver. Even times when I wake the monitor and it is still proper resolution, open windows have been moved around and resized. Other times I've walked by my computer while idle, the screen has turned on staying blank and going back to sleep. I suspect this is related. I first started to notice this with my previous AMD card beginning with driver stack 20.11.2 (November WHQL release for 6000 series). I rolled back and had no issue. Eventually I acquired the 6800 and had no choice but to use 20.11.2 stack. Ever since then with each new driver revision the problem persists and I'm not sure what I can do. Environment: Windows 10 20H2 AMD Reference 6800 LG 34GK950F (Native 3440*1440 144Hz connected over DisplayPort) If anyone has any suggestions it would be very appreciated.

Hi there, I have some concerns regarding cleaning my LG 4K monitor. Although I do know that LG recommends cleaning the monitor and displays with lint free microfiber cloths but I need to ask a question. I have been blowing loose dust particles off my display myself, (blowing air by my mouth, being careful about not spitting) and been doing that since months. Suddenly I realized if I would be introducing moisture but I talked to the LG live agent and they assured that as long as I'm not using liquid directly onto the screen, I would be fine. But I'm really concerned about this and wanted to talk to a product specialist. Can you pleasure if I didn't do any real damage to screen. Please try to understand my concern and guide me properly

I recently purchased an open box LG32QN600 for a great deal. When purchased it said that it had been tested and was in working order. I was excited to get it out of the box and start using it, but when I got it set up, the display will not show anything. I can tell the backlight comes on and will go off when I put my computer to sleep, and my computer recognizes the monitor. I have tried using the menu button to change settings but even the menu/OSD will not show up. Does anybody have any suggestions as to something I could do to remedy the problem or would I be better off to return the monitor. Thanks in advance!

Looking to upgrade my monitor and thought i might as well ball out. My question is, in terms of colour accuracy, HDR, and overall display which one is better? I don't really care about the Hz or response time. Thanks all

I'm considering these two monitors at the minute (LG 27UL850 or LG 27 QN880, I'm not firm on these two so am open to options as well. My budget is around £400), but I'm unsure of which to go for. I want to mount the monitor on an arm, which is the appeal of the Ergo (27QN880), but I'm not sure whether its better to go for the 4K option instead. Is the LG arm worth sacrificing 4K for? Would I really notice the difference between the 4K monitor and the QHD monitor? Background: I had an 27" iMac 5k for a while, but I returned it and I'm waiting for an M1 MacBook Pro to arrive at the minute. I'm studying for a masters degree, so will be using the monitor for usual student stuff (textbook reading, teams calls, advanced econometric regression analysis, Financial modelling in excel), as well as the occasional photo editing (hobby photography) and content consumption.

I’m looking at getting the 27 inch 1440 LG ergo, but I’m not sure what the desk requirements are. I’m waiting for the new Alex draws to come out before replacing my desk. I’ve currently got one that seems to be made of particle board or something like that. How thick would it need to be to mount this?

So i just got my 27GN950-B monitor and it looks like this in person: This is taken with ISO 90. So it looks exactly like that in person. This is IPS glow or black uniformity? Is this normal?

Good day to all!!! I've come across a problem that is really worrying me. Short Version: My LG monitor now loses signal/connection when I modify anything such as refresh ratio, resolution or enters in sleep mode. I can only bring it back when switch it off (I can hear the sound of the detection then) and back on. Several apps that used it such as Wallpaper Engine, fail to detect it even when I have signal on them. The monitor is the LG 27mp48hq (D-SUB and HDMI Outputs) Full History: Previously I had this monitor connected with an HDMI to DVI cable. For a long time and I don't remember why, it was the only HDMI cable that managed to give me signal. (Although the error wasn't the same, the monitor only showed black but not the NO SIGNAL pop-up with any other HDMI cable despite quality.). It was a flimsy cable that at first so everytime I moved it it came me a green screen before going without signal or just recovering. I blamed the cable connector. After bring back to live an older LCD Samsung monitor, I decided to start using two monitors without any problem. The LCD which is smaller 24" and older, does have DVI and HDMI and has no trouble connecting to any of them, with any cable. In fact, when I had both working, the PC always elected the LCD as main. Yesterday, my LG started to show NO SIGNAL/CHECK CONNECTION. I assumed the cable to had failed. But after trying a lot, I came across it worked on the old LCD. Then I accepted the grim reality, the HDMI port in the monitor was busted. Desperate I tried to disassemble the monitor but I stopped before long as the front came out with all the screen. I thought it was too much for my expertise and re-assemble it. No problem. I tried the D-SUB to see if the damage was total and no, it worked perfect. I assumed I needed to either take it to get it repaired, or live with an VGA to HDMI converter. Before doing any of that. Just by chance, I tried again with the regular HDMI cable with the other monitor on...and... it got detected for a second. From there and through experimentation I came across with this: *Now it could use any HDMI cable. *Physical movements do not affect any of this. *Alone or with other monitor. *The image and quality are the same as always. *If I do any modification like order of screens, switch refresh or resolutions, the signal dies. Without moving anything. I just switch it off and it gets detected again. Then I switch it on and presto. This also works without having other screen. I know something isn't right because previous thing that now it can do, but, I have programs like Wallpaper Engine that can't detect the monitor right away. Powering on the PC or after the screen goes to sleep requires the same procedure. Any ideas you guys can give me on what is going on? Thanks in advance!!! monitor-led-27-ips-lg-full-hd-1080p-hdmi-27mp48hq-p-hi-end-D_Q_NP_907034-MLA25861086896_082017-F.webp
