There is an app I want to build. The app should - Let people create user profiles, with information about age, gender, income etc... Make user profiles based on an actual person linked to some sort of government identification (so every user is unique and real) Allow them to enter their bank information Let me or the app transfer money in to their account Is this a complicated task? I don't know anything about designing apps, should I learn and build myself or if this is going to be cheap to build just get someone else to do it for me.

Hello, I'm looking for suggestions on good software for learning languages, primarily Russian and Portuguese (and Afrikaans) but there are so many out there that I don't know what to do. I know of Rosetta Stone and that it is really expensive, so please rule that one out. I'd prefer free or one time buy (even if it means having to buy upgrades later on). I have knowledge of Linguistics so it it helps any to decide on software, there ya go. (would also be good to get suggestions from people who actually used the software, or at least where I should begin looking and what I should look for.) Thanks! Hope to see some replies.

So basically I'm 14 years old and wanting to do programming as a living. When I started looking on how to write and learn C++ I couldn't find a great source on how to start and how to learn. So I'm asking if anyone has a website or some kind of resource they could link me or help me with. Thanks P.S its my first post.

Hey LTT! I just want to see what everyone thinks are good qualities that a manager should have and what are bad ones they should not? This can be anything from how the act to how they lead to how they discipline their workers!

Product: http://www.makeblock.cc NCIX: http://bit.ly/1D4qkwZ Amazon: http://geni.us/xag I was intrigued when I first saw the affordable mBot educational robot. But does this product deliver what a "kid's first robot" needs to actually teach them something?

Hi guys, so i met this girl who is not russian, but has a crush on that language (bloody language, indeed; even more than japanese i think) and she is telling me to join her study group and i most confess that other than russian girls and FPS Russia i don't give a sh*t about that place (to be fair the Soccer World Cup will be there and it makes Russia a bit important to me). Same story as always: she's pretty, i like her and she's actually teaching me how to draw (which is way more important than her bomb breasts). So, if you guys know about any help, website or method to make it troughout this challenge it will be quite appreciated. Thank you guys. Peace & Love.

Just thought i'd see if anyone on this forum knows a good online language learning site. There are no local places where i could sign up to learn russian. And if i google it there is a metric butt ton of results. So i thought i'd ask to see if any of you have any experience with any particular sites. And can reccomend them. I've wanted to learn a language that uses the Cyrillic alphabet for a while now. And since mr poo-tin might just go nuts before the end of his term and start rolling tanks through my front yard.. It might be nice to be able to yell at them in their own language. Like. Получить с моей лужайки! ("Get off my lawn" according to google translate ) Suggestions?

I'm on a tight budget to build a computer, what do y'all think about intel's integrated graphics to keep the budget down. Then later when I get more money I could try to spring for a graphics card what do you guys think about all of that? I'm also caught at what monitor I should use and I'm thinking about the Asus 21.5" VX228H any thoughts on any of this?

This is kind of late, I guess, but Linux Foundation decided to team up with edX, a non-profit online education site founded by Harvard and MIT, to allow easier entries into Linux courses. In this case, an introduction course that usually costs $2400, will be free over the summer. There is no limit or prerequisites to enroll and you can even "audit" and keep the course's materials, tests, and have access to the forums associated with the course. Otherwise, you can complete the course and get a completion certificate for free unlike some classes on edX. Source: Anandtech, "$2,400 'Introduction to Linux' course will be free and online this summer". And here's edX's page on this: "LinuxFoundationX: LFS101x: Introduction to Linux | edX". Linux is everywhere and it's pretty much the bare-bones or foundation of many operating systems like Android's OSs, Valve's SteamOS, and Mozilla's Firefox OS. The other thing is that Linux tends to be the tinkerer's OS as it requires you to actually explore it unlike Windows or iOS which are made convenient for users, but for some they are too restricted. So, if Linux is so open-source and kind of directed to a DIY mentality, then take a class? Ignoring the fact it's free, some people want guidance or want to learn it from a school environment. Personally, I'd like some guidance before messing with anything. I could have learned about automobiles the old-fashioned way, but there was a class in high school and those are usually free, so I took it. Even though it was an introduction class, there was a ton to learn. So, I'll probably sign-up even if I don't go into computer sciences and it'll be handy to have some knowledge of Linux. Who knows, I might end up being the guy who makes a revolutionary, Linux-powered toaster. Edit: Damn it! Someone beat me to it. There's an actual toaster-PC. It runs on Unix-like OS called NetBSD which is sort of close enough to a Linux-powered toaster. "NetBSD Toaster with the TS-7200 ARM SBC".

Hey guys I was wondering if there was any good tutorials for learning the basis and maybe intermediate skills to write JavaScript. I am taking an Advanced Placement class next year called AP Computer Science and I wanted to go into the class knowing some stuff . I am fine with purchasing a book if need be. I want to be a Computer Engineer so I would need to take that class in college, so might as well take it in high school. Thanks for any advice

Hi, so I've recently decided to be entirely done with Nvidia. Here's a thread that tells some of the trouble the GTX 660 has given me, if anyone's curious: So the card I've put up with is an ASUS GTX 660, and I'm deciding to get a Saphire R9 290 4GB. An R9 290x is too far up there for me (Price just out my willing range, and PSU can't handle it, so would add even more to the price) Don't worry about the specs, the 290x is just over what I can handle, for reference. Or does the Saphire R9 290 4GB seem like a solid choice? Is there somethign else you'd strongly reccomend? Like maybe a different aftermarket of the card is far superior, or something else? May seem like a dumb question, but I'd just like to know this will be an unregetable get. If you happen to strongly reccomend another GTX much more than an AMD card, I'm all ears, though probably gonna take some convincing to make me buy something that urks me. Maybe it was just only ASUS all a long, I beleive I saw some other ASUS products having issues, but regardless, I've grown much more comfortable with an AMD choice. But if you happen to REALLY strongly reccomend a GTX, I'm all ears.

I am about to go into high school and would like to know if there are any good resources or methods of learning about computers. I will probably go to college for a computer-related degree once I graduate high school. I would like to know more about what kind of jobs there are involving computers, and what each job consists of. The point of this post is to help me grow my knowledge about computers and to help me find out how I can use my interests to find a job in the real world. Thanks to anyone who helps.

Source: https://cybernews.com/security/data-suggests-unprecedented-interest-in-cybercrime-during-pandemic/ This isn't that surprising, considering that unemployment soared this year. Though I'm hoping that most people are interested in white hat hacking, as there is plenty of money to be made there as well.
