So, this laptop is new, and the problem showed up after a week. It randomly "flickers" sometimes not every time. I brought it to Acer Service Center and got the LCD replaced and the issue still shows, tried doing a clean install of Windows 11 and still has the same issue, tried resetting and still the same issue, got it diagnosed in Acer's Office and it said, "No Trouble Found", downgraded it to Windows 10 and still has the issue, tried updating the graphics drivers and still has the issue, also tried doing a clean install of graphics drivers and still has the issue. What do you think is the problem? Please help because I need this laptop for school, thank you. 324671120_5880064438725336_937532622323971910_n.mp4 323651474_8437599166310288_4770523994992088771_n.mp4

Hello everyone! I bought a new Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-45) and the built-in mic doesn't seem to work. It was working before but now it doesn't pick up my voice or any other sound. I've tried reinstalling the drivers, disabling the device and 'sfc /scannow' command but to no avail. I've also checked the privacy settings and everything for microphone is turned on. It worked randomly at first but after restarting it went back to not working. I'm wondering if it is some kind of bug in the Windows 11 or hardware issue. The laptop is barely a month old. Is there anything else I can try to resolve this issue? Thank You

Hey Guys, I Just Ordered The New Lenovo Legion Prebuilt And I Was Wondering What Kind Of Fans Are They Using? It Looks Like 92mm Fans But For A Full System, Only Having Four 92mm Fans Really Sucks. Appreciate The Help

Looks like im at the "undervolting" limit … -0.125 offset gives good results, -0.250 seems slightly worse, certainly not better, i also set PBO Advanced to +150mhz (offset) which really doesnt seem to do much either… Thing is im running very close to the 88w "limit" and also "PPT"… So im wondering if i can maybe overwrite that as theres a setting in bios for it… Temps are fine ~71C at 100% all cores and like 4.1ghz Of course i gotta test maybe +200mhz PBO offset still, but I doubt that'll do much - as its getting real close to max wattage and PPT already…

Last post got ignored because it was too long and wordy, so here we go again, ill make it short and sweet... Is $2,549 CAD ($2,111 USD) (before taxes) too much money for a Lenovo Legion 5 Pro with 5800H, RTX 3070, 16GB RAM, 2x 1 TB NVME? I feel like i got ripped off somehow and I haven't even received it yet.

Today I put an order in for a Legion 5 Pro 6th Gen (specs below) and I ended up paying a whopping $2,549.99 CAD (before taxes). I started watching some reviews and Jarrod's Laptops recommended that the RAM be replaced because of the timings reducing gaming performance. So for the price of 2 new sticks (about $150) I could just upgrade to a better laptop. Then soon after I noticed that Dell has a much better laptop for not very much more money. The Alienware m15 Ryzen Edition R5 (specs below) fully maxed (after a $100 off coupon) would be $2,949.99 CAD (before taxes). Now Im considering cancelling my order from lenovo and buying the dell. I keep reading RAVING reviews about the Legion 5 Pro, even Linus made a video about it going on about how awesome it was... Is the Legion 5 Pro the better option here or is the Alienware a better offering considering the price/circumstances? Is there a better laptop out that that is cheaper? don't actually want to spend more money but to get anything next gen I'm kind of forced to throw money at the problem) Things I require in a laptop: A built-in Webcam, at least a 3070 + any AMD CPU (preferably 8-core), 16GB ram (32 would be nice), 1TB nvme ssd (2 separate drives would be better) also that screen... I dont think the legion 5 pro can be beat in how awesome the screen is but Im willing to downgrade if the price is significantly cheaper., Budget: Cheaper is better but willing to spend what I must to get what I want Specs for Legion 5 Pro 6th Gen: $2,549.99 (CAD) ● Processor: AMD Ryzen™ 7 5800H Processor (3.20 GHz, up to 4.40 GHz Max Boost, 8 Cores, 16 Threads, 16 MB Cache) ● Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64 ● Display Type: 16.0" QHD (2560 x 1600) IPS, anti-glare with Dolby Vision™, NVIDIA G-SYNC™, HDR 400, 500 nits, 165Hz ● Memory: 16 GB DDR4 3200MHz (2 x 8 GB) ● Hard Drive: 2 TB PCIe SSD (2 x 1 TB) ● Warranty: One Year Legion Ultimate Support ● AC Adapter: 300W ● Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX™ 3070 8GB ● Camera: 720p HD ● Keyboard: Backlit - RGB - US English ● Wireless: 802.11AX (2 x 2) & Bluetooth® 5.1 Specs for the Alienware $2,949.99 (CAD) Processor AMD Ryzen R9 5900HX (8-Core, 20MB Total Cache, up to 4.6 GHz Max Boost Clock) Operating System Windows 10 Pro English Video Card NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3070 8GB GDDR6 Memory 32GB DDR4 3200MHz Hard Drive 1TB PCIe M.2 SSD LCD 15.6" QHD (2560 x 1440) 240Hz 2ms with ComfortView Plus, NVIDIA G-SYNC and Advanced Optimus Color Choice Dark Side of the Moon with High Endurance Clear Coat and Silky Smooth Finish Wireless Killer™ Wi-Fi 6 AX1650 802.11ax 2x2 Wireless LAN and Bluetooth 5.2 Primary Battery 6-Cell Battery, 86WHr (Integrated) Keyboard Alienware's CherryMX ultra low-profile mechanical laptop keyboard with per-key AlienFX lighting AC Adapter 240W Adapter

Just walking in downtown Bangkok, Thailand. Pull the phone up and run speedtest and got this... Since unlimited data unlimited speed plan start at $30 a month here, probably cancel my fiber soon...

I have an ASUS RT-AC1200G+ as an access point from an ASUS RT87U (on 1Gbps fiber) The access point needs to service; 1 gaming PC, 1 PS4, 1 Xbox, 2 phones, 3 laptops (not all at the same time of course) Main gaming happens on the PC and the PS4 so those need the most stable connection. Was thinking of wiring one of the laptops/PS4 and the gaming PC to the router. The rest on wireless. Would this compromise the WiFi capabilities or would just using WIFI on all the devices be better?

Hi, so I decided to play destiny 2 again because why not, it's been two or three months since last time. I have a GTX 1070, 12GB of 3000MHz ram (getting another 4GB tomorrow, don't worry) and a Ryzen 5 1600. Nothing is underclocked, undervolted, overheating, and I even tried some overclocking, temps were cool and all, but it didn't help. Anyways, I was playing, and I was getting below 60fps, no matter the settings, in fact, I got higher framerates at max settings than low settings. Does anyone have an idea of what could be the issue? The system is 100% stable too.

so by every youtubers review, I decided to purchase the Acer nitro 5 the newest one with a core i5 8th gen and 1050 (decided to go on a budget since I already have a desktop) and this is brand spanking new but randomly disk usage is at 100% how do I prevent this from happening this has 4gb of ram btw it might affect ur answers (i know it's too low but I already purchased a 16gb pack of ram)

does ryzen 5 1600 support 3200 mhz ram ? particularly speaking F4-3200C16D-16GVKB . is it supported by ryzen 5 1600 ? motherboard x370 gaming plus msi .

Can I stream with ryzen 5 1600 ? How'll be the performance ?

is corsair vengeance lpx ddr4 3000mhz (CMK8GX4M1D3000C16) a good choice for ryzen 5 2600 ? motherboard may be b450 tomahawk or x470 gaming pro .

I'm planning on building an all around budget pc with ryzen 5 2600 for gaming, streaming, content creation etc . I'm planning to go with 3000 mhz corsair vengeance lpx 2*8gb and maybe gtx 1060 . I'm really stuck selecting the motherboard. I have an option at my local market for going with msi x370 gaming plus for a reasonable fair price. But somewhere i saw that x370s are for first gen ryzen processors and b450 chipsets are for 2nd gen ryzen processors . I'm really stuck. Should I go for msi x370 gaming plus for my ryzen 5 2600 or should i look for some b450s . Help me !

Hello, i have a problem about choosing my new cpu, could you help me resolve it? about that, AMD or Intel? intel is expensive as hell.. an i7 costs about 450 euros and im not willing to take an i5 that still cost like 320 euros.. i would rather spend the extra 80 to get the 7.. i know its great but mannn... its a lot.. thats why i was thinking about ryzen.. the ryzen 7 1800x (first gen) costs like 264 euros.. it comes without a heatsink, but im willing to buy it anyway (ill explain l8er on ) but now there's the problem, should i go for a first gen zen cpu? first answer: or i should go for the 2700x ? it costs 354 euros a 90 euros gap for? is it worth it? is the 1800x so bugged and like unproductive? Second answer: or i should go for the 2600x ? it costs 40euros less than the 1800x , but are the difference in price going to make the less cores and threads feels even? or its just going to perform the same or even better because of its new architecture (bug fix of usage and stuff)? now lets talk about the fact that i play a lot of light game.. i usually play Moba, but i also play pubg, rainbow six siege, cod blackout.. i do not play games like the witcher (or games with that weight of graphics to be less annoying) soooo? Help me!!!!!!

Hola I am experiencing some weird system freezes after pushing my Ryzen to 4.0 GHz. System spec: MOBO: Asus Prime B350-Plus CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 obsiously RAM: DDR4 Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB 3000 MHz @ 2933 MHz - 1.35V GPU: Sapphire Radeon RX580 Nitro+ PSU: 550W Seasonic Focus Plus Gold CPU cooler: AiO CoolerMaster Master Liquid 240 Lite Fan config: 2x140 intake, 1x120 + 240 AiO exhaust So what I basically do is change the core ratio from stock 34 to 40 and push the VDDCR CPU voltage up to about 1.33-1.35V in offset mode. I have also disabled the AMD's prorietary core performance boost since I didn't want to stack overclocks and set the performance bias to none. I have increased the stock VDDCR SOC voltage by 0.2V in offset mode but I am not really aware of what this parameter really does - I've just read about it. I have also set the load line calibration setting to High on both VDDCR CPU and VDDCR SOC since I've read that it allows both to get just a small voltage boost when the system is on the edge of stability. I am stresstesting my system with Aida64 Extreme and the CPU temp doesn't go above 55C after 30 minutes of 100% load. In CPU-Z I've never seen the CPU voltage go above 1.37V. The CPU power package is aroud 95-100W tops. No restarts, no bluescreens BUT sometimes when I try to do anything during the stresstest (like moving the mouse pointer around, browse through my files) my system can randomly freeze for couple of seconds and then fully recover. Cinebench R15 is pretty good with the score of 1350 but after 3-4 cycles it slows down to 350 and won't get up until i restart the system (temps are fine). I went back to the stock CPU settings after discovering that. Is that a sign of a bad overclock? What could I do to improve?
