  1. Headlander is currently 70% off on Steam, is it worth getting? I would appreciate any opinions from anyone who's played it.
  2. Anyway, back on topic: I want awesome 3D platformers, hopefully Yooka-Laylee and A Hat in Time will help kick start that.
  3. I understand what your saying but it could still be worth a try, you can always refund it if you don't like it.
  4. Are you aware of Redout? I've not played it but it's been frequently compared to Wipeout. http://store.steampowered.com/app/517710/ Have you tried Don't Starve?
  5. Action Henk Badland Battleblock Theater Cannon Brawl Guacamelee! Portal 2 Rayman Legends Rocket League SpeedRunners
  6. Looks like some of the GTX 1070s have some price cuts as well.
  7. Transformers Devastation - made by the same company that made Nier Automata.
  8. Battleblock Theater and Transformers Devastation are on sale right now.
  9. Your probably right, that's a shame because I really wanted Subnautica. Still a great deal though. EDIT: Well I found my answer https://twitter.com/humblesupport/status/831620468369145857
  10. I have a question. Some of the games in the bundle are sold out, do they ever get replenished?
  11. Just went on Steam and saw this: http://store.steampowered.com/bundle/2679/
  12. They look like they would fit in well with a typical build, unlike Intel coolers.
  13. Dishonored and Civ 5 are high recommendations from me.
  14. There are 2 main reasons why I would use a controller: 1) If a game is optimised for a controller exclusive feature (analogue stick) that cannot be replicated with KB/M 2) If a game doesn't properly support mouse and forces me to use just the keyboard (many Platformers are guilty of this) A list of some of my favourite PC games that I prefer to play with a controller: Alice: Madness Returns, Battleblock Theater, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, DmC: Devil May Cry, Guacamelee!, LIMBO, Mark of the Ninja, Ori and the Blind Forest, Rayman Legends, Rocket League, Sonic Generations, SpeedRunners.
  15. Assetto Corsa Civ 5 Complete Edition (haven't played Civ 6 so can't comment on it) Rainbow Six: Siege Rocket League
  16. What kind of games do you like?
  17. Was about to post this but you beat me to it. Can confirm that I've successfully redeemed it.
  18. Well I'm glad to hear that optimisation is good, but whether or not the game itself will be good remains to be seen. There was a lawsuit? I always wondered why it was called Dawn of Discovery in the USA.
  19. I personally prefer simulator to arcade style so if it's anything like DiRT Rally I'm totally down for it, if it's more like DiRT 3 I may pass on it. If it's going to be like DiRT 3, Codemasters could at least add more content to DiRT Rally. EDIT: The "Your Stage" feature sounds interesting.
  20. Antichamber and Infinifactory come to mind.
  21. I've heard of Rimworld although I don't really know what it's about.
  22. It depends. Prison Architect is generally considered one of the best examples of early access done right. It probably would have never existed (or been finished) if it wasn't for early access but the devs also rewarded early adopters with regular updates. Even now it still gets updates which is probably what keeps people coming back to it. We've also seen bad examples of early access, games that don't live up to the promises and are abandoned half way through development. Godus comes to mind here. I believe Valve not taking enough responsibility is also part of the problem. GOG recently launched a similar program (Games in Development). Everything is curated by GOG themselves, they have a more generous refund policy than Steam and you can even rollback updates. Personally I always wait for games to be finished before purchasing although you do bring up a good point that you can easily forget when a game leaves early access. Some examples of early access games that I'm glad I waited for them to be completed: Action Henk Assetto Corsa DiRT Rally Don't Starve Don't Starve Together Door Kickers Infinifactory Invisible Inc.
