  1. The procedural generated content here is the map. It means there is no premade map by an editor nor a dev, the only thing that is shipped to the player is the map generator and a seed. (Like in The Elders Scrolls 2, if my memory doesnt fail me). Doing so allows less human work and more free space on ssd.

  3. "You can't just say "wow Microsoft is innocent! They were allowed to put the safety on if they wanted" if someone ends up being shot." It's more like this: "You can't just say "wow Microsoft is guilty! OEMs were allowed to leave the safety on if they wanted' if someone ends up not being shot when they should have been." if you want to stick with the [safety = disable safe boot setting] and [someone = a hacker with a nasty OS to crack the Win10 used in a company fleet]
  4. OEM aren't stupid enough to accept these kind of honeypot. Enventually it was the necessary condition for them to have windows 10 for free but, again, it's a little to evil to be true.
  5. Well, maybe I'm wrong but things might not change, I mean, it's not like Microsoft is paying them to make the option disappear. Plus it might allows companies to secure their fleet by buying pcs who can run only secured OS. You know how easy it is to get a win password with a redhat on a liveCD? 10 min tops, and I'm not good at this game. I hope it will only be applied for professionnals builds, not retail or enthusiam motherboard. EDIT: It doesn't concern stand alone motherboard, just pre-builds, my bad. Then I don't think any OEM would do it for the retails per-builds. We are in 2015, not 2005. There is always a geek around now. I'm sure as I can be that "normal" people will eventually learn of this and blame/boycot the OEM/models which don't allow them to change the OS. Even if they would never change their OS in the first place.
  6. And the day after that my internet provider contact me about a discount on a 100MB fiber offer. Coincidence? I don't think so!
  7. So now other browser's users can't be automatically incognito => more cash for Google ?

  11. I'm quite disturbed by the review. I trust Linux to know how to do a review, that's why I follow his videos. But as a Windows Phone user, I don't recognize the OS he described. There is some false accusations in the video. I don't understand why Linux lied to us. Is he close minded ? I don't think so. Did he even use the phone for a month exclusively ? I honestly doubt it. No Swiftkey ? -> built-in No free Youtube Apps ? -> MetroTube is free(more accurately the try is free and have ALL it's functionalities, it's just a decoy for Google lawyers who don't want a free competitive app for the 'browse to m.youtube.com' official app). It comes with ad-free videos and preload-offline videos. And it's basically the same for all the major services, if there is not an official app, there is a third party one who basically does a better job. (seriously Linux, why don't you check if the top result, no matter the name, is a serious app ? you will not get a malware by looking at the market page ! There isn't even malwares on WP, every apps are running in an independent memory. Again I don't understand the way he used the phone. It's like he didn't even give it a try. I only use my lumia 635 for : call, text, mails, social networks, news, gps (free Here suite), youtube (Metrotube, a LOT), 9gag, Office, mangas( a lot too), books, music(the app is still shitty, even compared with the WP7, I don't understand what happened). I don't really use WhatsApp, I'm in Europe, sms are unlimited with almost every offers. I don't use the camera neither (the related apps by Nokia are really sweets, even if I don't really use them, not a photo guy). Obviously I don't use Google services, I use the Microsoft ones. I don't trust both of them but at least MS don't record my web history, simply because they can't I guess. So I guess I'm not an enthusiast user for smartphone, only use it actively 5 hours a day. But I don't understand how you would use it to be a so called by Linus "enthusiast". If you want to work, you use a laptop or desktop. Or even a tablet if you want. but unless you think you are an enthusiast because you use dropcam, instagram or stuff. Please. People. Dropcam. I'm not in USA but I don't need to monitor my house 24/7. And there is a 3rd party app for instagram. So unless someone can explain to me what I'm doing wrong with my phone and can persuade me that my vision of smartphones usages is totally wrong, I will assume Linus either didn't wanted to try it, didn't tried it, or lied to us to gain hype. (PS please explain me, I'm serious, I'm worried, I love Linux videos but there is something wrong there)
  12. Thanks for making me discover Waterfox, neat !
  13. What about Iliad's Free ? Did they drop the offer they made last week ? EDIT: Didn't saw the update, my bad.
  14. This news a misunderstanding, Satya Nadella actually said that the OS will stay separated for the time being, it's to difficult yet to have one OS for all. What will merge is from a development POV. Universal apps for WP, W8(Modern apps and Desktop apps) and Xbox One.
