  1. My current setup: Corsair Vengence K70 with red LEDs and Cherry MX Brown Switches Corsair M60 mouse Razer eXactmat and wrist rest Audio Technica M50X Dark Green limited edition cans
  2. It looks like it does have a NVMe SSD. I'm really excited about this.
  3. I would love to see a high end storage device such as a EMC Storage array put up against a QNAP, Synology, and custom built NAS/SAN. iSCSI over 10GbE with all the fixins' If you do this I would love love for you to make a post on here or a blog or vlog detailing the setup in the OS down to the IQNs and LUNs
  4. I have 2 of the x5560s in my PowerEdge R710 great processors
  5. I bought some of those silverstone magnetic filters too they work well
  6. I got this for PS4 as everyone said there would be no players on the PC version, and I have COD:AW for PC and this is so true. Anyways, I haven't finished the campaign yet but I have to say it's great so far. The multiplayer is ON POINT! It feels so nice, just free flowing and smooth, like old school black ops, couldn't be happier, I haven't played a FPS that runs this well in a while, but that's just my opinion. Haven't tried zombies yet. EDIT: Also just wanted to say as for the sliding and wall running, it's NOT a problem like it was in Advanced Warfare, it's a much more grounded game like the older COD's. Love it.
  7. 4k Vines, if the 4k video capture is actually good, that is awesome
  8. That was my first instinct, but I decided I like the sleek look of the R5 more
  9. I might, I really like the AXi series PSU but I have also considered painting it like Linus did.
  10. Thanks! Took a lot of cues from you on this one, some of my own. It runs absolutely flawless, what an improvement over the i5 2500k with a z68 chipset. I'm really happy with the aesthetics as well.
  11. Black and White Build Conclusion (for now) Here it is with the AX860i and the Noctua fans installed. I had to do a lot of tweaking in the UEFI to get the Noctua fans to run at 600rpm but I finally got it by connecting them to the cpu_opt header using a Y cable. Will take some screenshots tonight or tomorrow showing temps @Idle and load and run some benchmarks. Hope you guys enjoy.
  12. Are you running stock firmware? Which version if so, I'm actually about to purchase a router in the next week, have been researching them for the past 2. Would love to get the Nighthawk if it is indeed reliable.
  13. How many clients will be connected at one time? What type of devices will be connected? Budget? I did a lot of research on this subject not too long ago and have found that the ASUS RT-AC66U is the most reliable and maintains consistent speeds. The Nighthawk by netgear has a tiny bit faster throughput but a lot of people tend to say that it needs to be rebooted once a week or so due to unresponsiveness.
  14. Black and White Build So in some of the pictures coming up you'll notice I had to remove the optical bay cage and the middle hard drive cage to fit the NZXT Kraken X61 in the R5. It wouldn't line up right towards the back of the case for some reason and I decided it was best to just mount it towards the front. Sorry some of the pics are blurry, I don't have a digital camera and my phone is not the greatest (Moto G LTE). You might also notice at the time I took the pics there is a Corsair AX760i not an 860i in it, the new one hadn't yet arrived so I made do until it got here. More pics to come Is this actually a problem with some people? LOL, I didn't think anybody would actually put a jumper on a fan header
  15. Black and White Build I started off going for an all white build, but ran into some problems. I couldn't get the Define R5 in white ANYWHERE. I thought I had found it at one point from Tigerdirect Business, only to order it and wait several days and find out they were waiting for a response from Fractal. At this point I had them refund my money and went with a black R5. So I would have to say all in all, it came out to my liking. I recycled the video card and data storage drives from my old rig, other than that everything shiny new. CPU - Intel Core I7 4790K Motherboard - Asus Saberooth Z97 Mark S RAM - Kingston HyperX Fury White 16GB @ 1866Mhz Case - Fractal Design Define R5 Black Window Video Card - Galaxy Hall Of Fame edition GTX770 CPU Cooler - NZXT Kraken X61 SSD - Samsung 840 Pro HDD1 - WD Black 2TB HDD2 - WD Black 1TB PSU - Corsair AX860i Additional Case fans - Noctua NF-A14 PWM
  16. Love the build Sgt. I finally built mine, ended up going with a black R5 as I couldn't get the white one. The white one I had ordered from Tigerdirect (bad mistake) did not ever get shipped, they said "oh we're trying to get a-hold of the manuf. but we haven't yet" So I canceled the order and got an R5 Black Window from Newegg But nonetheless, it turned out great. I took pictures along the way and am going to be making my build log on here probably tonight. Thanks for the encouragement!
  17. I'm gonna be running FAH with you guys, This is what I'm seeing so far. Will be looking into it more in the next couple days
  18. Thanks guys. Yeah I think I found one, Just ordered from TigerDirect Business, Waiting to see the shipping confirmation before I get too excited lol. I am also ordering a Sabertooth Mark S this afternoon with either the Avexir RAM or HyperX Fury White along with a 4790k and a Kraken x61. I am trying to decide if I should front mount or top mount the rad. I've got a Galaxy HOF GTX770 to go along with the white theme and don't see a need to upgrade it quite yet. The only thing that isn't going to match well is the AX760i PSU, but I love it and don't really want to buy a new one quite yet. Open to suggestions for the future though. If I mount the rad in the front of the R5 though, how do you guys think the cooling would work for the rest of the system? Blowing hot air in is probably a bad idea so Id vent through the front?
  19. So I love the build you are doing, I want to get a Fractal Design Define R5 White windowed case. But the problem is, I can't find it anywhere? Anybody got any ideas if or when it will be getting shipped to stores again?

  21. I would have to say I agree with most comments made, I absolutely LOVE the website layout of Vessel, BUT, The video quality does look absolutely horrible compared to watching in high-res on YouTube. I saw where Nick mentioned that he or someone at LMG already spoke with them about this. I would have to say that with LMG having 1.5mil subscribers (thereabouts) on YouTube and bringing all the fans to Vessel, They should get to work on LMG's concerns with said issues immediately. Shortcut keys (Left and Right to advance or skip back, space to pause/un-pause) and Video quality are my gripes. As always, LMG continues to kick ass and take names.
  22. I want to see headsets and audio cards. I think its safe to say we've all seen plenty of stuff reviewed but I would like to see a headset showdown along with maybe a review of the SoundBlaster X series (when connected with toslink to an audio receiver).
