  1. Turning electronics off during updates is never a good idea. You might have bricked it. Is there any patern to the beeping? If so, it might be code you could look up. I have some experience with a DJI drone and I know that it beeps on startup/turning off and also when looking for signal. Why did you turn it off in the first place? EDIT: Your other thread was posted 13 hours ago in a subforum that isn't particularly active. Give the people some time to answer your question, man
  2. Out of the people I follow, they made either interesting posts and/or status updates in the past, or they are an active member of our LTT Conglomerate Star Citizen organisation. It has been ages since I have done anything with the follow function, though.
  3. Banned for implying that anyone still knows what's happening anymore.
  4. Depending on where you live, you'd pay import fee (and tax?) for products over a certain value. Check that before you buy abroad, because it can get (more) expensive fast. Seeing as the price difference is 30 pounds, would you think it's worth it to not buy locally? Also: CAPITAL LETTERS!!1! EDIT: I have a sneaking suspicion OP isn't coming back. I stand corrected
  5. Banned for bashing emoticons while having that profile picture.
  6. Banned for getting me dragged into this thread yet again! (or it might have been the fact that I still follow this thread )
  7. I saw the movie last night, during an Infinity War and Endgame marathon and I loved every second of it. When that scene happened, a large part of the audience started clapping and cheering - something I have never experienced in Dutch theatres We are generally known as calm and collected people, but put a bunch of comic and movie enthusiasts in a room...
  8. Currently working in an open office. While the Netherlands doesn't have such a warm climate, the temps are slowly rising as summer is approaching. Last month the AC unit broke on our side of the office and a new one can't be fitted because of sizing issues. So either: 1. a custom one has to be made, 2. the ceiling and ducting has to be broken up, or 3. coming months will get toasty. Yay. OT: At first I thought that OP meant 'ye olde' trades, such as woodworking, masonry, smithing etc. These careers are often looked down upon, but they can't be missed. Who will come to the rescue when your plumbing is stuffed or when the power is down?

    I... have no words.
  10. For work I like to go business/smart casual. While it isn't exactly required for my current job, I like how I look in it At home it's mostly jeans and a tshirt or sweater when it gets colder. When I'm climbing/hiking in the mountains I dress for the weather (zip-off trousers are a godsend), but I usually don't go anywhere without my La Sportiva boots ?
  11. Is there any love for oldtimers in here? I bought my 'Little Red' in August 2017. 1970, 1200cc, 34hp, ~x25,000km and I love her to death. More photo's: https://imgur.com/a/TnJlb61
  12. Yes, I have a Pentium G2020 in my machine. Not the best (by a stretch ), but it does the job well. I have the full specs of my NAS box on my profile somewhere, should you be curious. A quick Google search resulted that Plex on FreeNAS doesn't support hardware transcoding at all, so it's all CPU https://www.ixsystems.com/community/threads/using-quicksync-for-transcoding-in-plex.69016/ Good luck!
  13. 1. I'm not entirely sure about alternatives, but I have been using a FreeNAS box with Plex for the past years and it has been working perfectly for me. The Plex plugin will be installed in a jail, so it's technically fenced off from the other files on the server. It's also very easy to set up remote access which lets you watch your movies anywhere. 2. FreeNAS doesn't do RAID in the traditional sense, but uses ZFS volumes. Although the idea is generally similar, there are differences. I suggest reading up on ZFS and it's capabilities before deciding. As for your bootdrive, I have a 8(?)GB USB stick as an OS drive. My motherboard came with an USB port inside the case and it's been living there happily. I think the FreeNAS installation manual even suggests using this method.

    hi

General Kenobi, you are an old one! Hello @gaza.johnstone, welcome
  15. Dude/dudette, take a chill pill. Your account is almost nothing but hate towards the videos and workers of LMG, it makes me wonder why you're even on these forums. Don't like it? Move along! No need for all this negativity.
  16. I feel like somehow, somewhere that is an insult to Caboose. Sure, he's an idiot but when it's called for he'll be there, doing his best.
  17. At work I drink machine coffee, black. While it is a decent machine, I don't much like the taste of it. It's do-able though. When I don't feel like drinking coffee, I have a box of Earl Gray teabags at the ready, can't go wrong with those At home (and when camping/weekends) I have a percolator/moka/espresso 'machine', which produces a very strong but very rich and tasty batch of the black gold. Just fill it up with water and grounds, put on stove and wait till the thing makes noise
  18. How about not using the school's resources for gaming and maybe pay attention to the class? Just a hunch.
  19. I am still convinced that Pony Island is the easiest game to 100%, at least out of the games that I own. It took me about 2 hours and had a decent amount of fun during Also, that's a nice Team Nice Dynamite picture you've got there.
  20. It's the worst scam in history. They're using the funds of the backers to make an actual game
