  1. By the way you phrased your post it sounds like you are saying you tattooed yourself? Did you actually do that? Cause that would be pretty badass lol
  2. What exactly happened here? I looked through the thread and didnt see if anywhere else you posted specifics but maybe I missed it
  3. I dunno, I use an Ultrawide and wont go back to dual monitors. For games the ones that have support is nice and when they dont I just have the black bars on the side and it doesn't bother me at all. I multitask a lot when Im not gaming and I hated having the separated monitors with the plastic borders in the center. I dont care how thin the bezels are, it still drives me nuts. With that said I might actually switch to stacked ultrawides when I do my update to my rig as I find I still want more space
  4. They said on WAN thats its gonna restock but its gonna be Feb at the earliest.
  5. Also even if you are air cooling some cases/brackets sit the card further back so it doesnt choke them. As for what to choose when water cooling. What ever looks better both in terms of cards and tube runs
  6. For the record I’ve used half a dozen that “explosive” power supply and not a single issue. I know it’s a small sample size but still, it’s not that bad for budget
  7. While I’m not heartless to the reality of the pandemic, this person made the deal with you 6 months ago while we were already dealing with the pandemic. You’ve told me nothing about this individual that leads me to believe he should be cut any slack whatsoever. In fact you’ve told me the opposite in this thread. If I was in your place I’d be marching my ass over to his place and demand he give you the money he owes in full or you take the machine back and the $400 he has paid so far can be considered a rental fee for the last 6 months. This guy sounds like he’s not worth your friendship
  8. I could not be happier with this purchase, looks fantastic guys!
  9. If you have two full 8 pin cables available then there is no reason not to use them both as opposed to splitting the single
  10. I would say in the mid 90s it was far more common to upgrade prebuilts as opposed to building from the ground up. I would tend to say towards the late 90s to early 00s is when it started to get more and more common and it just kept building from there. I dont think its ever been more popular than it is today though
  11. I switched from Logitech to Corsair as well, spent more on the Corsair stuff and I miss my Logitech stuff. The Corsair keyboard isnt bad at all but The Dark Core RGB SE is a bit disappointing, the side buttons are poorly positioned compared to my Logitech mouse.
  12. Honestly I no longer need any suggestions lol. I just downloaded and turned on RTX Voice and its amazing. ZERO clicking from my keyboard coming through when I talk now. The sound quality of my voice isn't quite as good but its close enough for what I use my mic for that it wont matter. Thanks again for the suggestion DailyProcrastinator
  13. Good point about RTX voice, no I havent tried that yet. As for the RGB side, I dont need per key, hell I dont NEED it at all, its more just that it would be nice to have some kind of controllable RGB
  14. Ok guys I want a new keyboard. I currently am using a corsair k95 platinum and its a nice board HOWEVER its loud as hell and my Yeti X picks its up way to well. So my wish list for a new keyboard is quiet, must have some kind of volume control built in, preferably a dedicated dial but could live with a function/dual key set up, would like there to be a matching mouse available, would PREFER wireless but this isn't a deal breaker and would like some kind of assignable RGB set up. I already was looking at the Logitech 915 TKL and its nice, its 299.99 CAD so its a bit much. Technically I could do that but if I could find something solid for less money I would prefer that. Any suggestions?
  15. Are you looking for the best, or the best bang for the buck, because those arent the same thing
  16. Custom loops as stated above aren't "worth it" in the traditional sense. They aren't gonna give you anywhere close to the $ per performance you would get from just spending that money on hardware. However custom loops I look at as more of a hobby. I really enjoy building custom loops, and I really like the end result cosmetically. Ya they are harder to upkeep than an air cooled system, but to many people they look so much better/unique and if you have your computer sitting on your desk beside you its nice having something to look at that you built yourself. I sold my last custom loop system, currently just have an air cooler on right now but will likely in the next month or two build a new loop for a 3600x. Does it make sense or is it necessary? Not from a performance stand point, but its a hobby for me.
  17. The market is WAY to tough for someone to make any real money doing this unless you have the talents to make one off modded cases and what not to make the systems super unique. My suggestion is to not try building computers to sell and post them online, only build a computer for a client you already have in place
  18. I get your point, I personally love the look of it. As said from a style standpoint it ties into a lot of their hardware specific shirts, it has that RGB gamer vibe with all the colors and I think the trees are kind of a nice way to break up the mat and keep in mind that those trees are positioned where your keyboard goes so by making it just a bunch of generic trees its not weird to cover up some of them with equipment, where as the gamers nexus one for example I would feel like I always wanted to see everything because they are all unique pictures.
  19. Ive heard nothing but good things about that Phanteks case so I am sure you will be happy
  20. Ok so you entered your information and then the site updated the price to reflect the total amount. I see no issue. As a fellow Canadian I agree it would be nice to have a way to do the conversion to CAD on the site but since its not there I just open a second window and google it. Not a big a deal. Lots of smaller stores work exactly the same as LTT Store. I gotta be honest, your post comes off as complaining for the sake of complaining.
  21. After I read the OP I was gonna recommend this exact case. I have now owned 2 of these define r6 cases and built 2 other systems for friends in them. They are a bit on the higher side of the price bracket but they are onsale at Memory Express right now for $200 if they still have them. They are quiet, flexible and look great. This is what I would look at. If not than look to the Define R7
  22. I think you are fine, just dont overclock anything and you will be well under your PSU limit
  23. This is one of the shirts I just ordered, hopefully will be here monday, pretty excited for it
  24. OK you need to read your manual for you mobo. Motherboards have an LED on them that will give codes during boot and will give you a failure code when they dont boot. That will tell you where to look for your problem. But we cant do that for you, thats gonna be on you to do with the hardware in front of you. Those are the post codes I asked you about eariler
