  1. Ya man if those are the choices you are looking at you are really down to cosmetics as there is no issues performance wise with any of them.
  2. For cases I like the Fractal Define Cases, I have a r6 right now, the newer R7 is great too, very big and easy to work in. As for the water cooling components, you can do complete kits like corsairs that run $619 CAD, not sure what that equates to in your currency. It not gonna be a distroplate but its an easy way to start. It might be more expensive than sourcing the pieces yourself but at least you dont have to worry about missing pieces and then you can add in your gpu cooling down the road
  3. If you are comfortable with the price than you are good to go through EK, as someone else mentioned the PSU is a bit concerning, if you are gonna run stock settings than you should be fine but if you are doing any overclocking you should definitely beef that sucker up
  4. There is no problem putting it over the res and if you keep the TARDIS above the inlet/outlet on the bottom then the only think you need to mod is a hole to allow the tube to come out the top of the res. It actually doesnt seem that hard provided you can find a TARDIS thats the correct size
  5. Loop order is irrelevant, just make sure that if any of your blocks are directional you get those straight.
  6. Im gonna guess that if you have a microcenter around you can probably get it done there, otherwise post up an exact location and maybe a forum member is around and willing to take it on. If you scrap the RGB fittings and stick with everything else then the build wouldn't be that complicated and quite a bit cheaper.
  7. Ya it will fit but just a side note, if you havent bought it all yet go for at least 3200 mhz ram, ideally 3600 mhz, ZEN 3 likes the fast stuff
  8. Oh totally aware, when I said I would feel the need to populate all the fans I kinda meant in conjunction with rads but clearly I didnt type that out. When cases are that big I feel like if you dont go full balls to the walls then its just wasted space.
  9. I wouldnt say Im "mad", that would imply I really care, but calling a spade a spade here, they cant fulfill the current orders people have out there for cards, and instead of focusing on delivering the products they have already launched they are instead releasing even more models that they wont be able to deliver with any regularity.
  10. If this is true I think its a good move from a PR standpoint, when people are STILL trying to chase down 5900 and 5950 and cant get them, to then launch a refresh of those chips that they also wouldnt be able to acquire easily would be a slap in the face to customers (looking at you Nvidea with your ridiculous 3080ti bullshit). As long as they dont have a TON of money tied up in R&D for those refreshes then just let them pass and move on to ZEN 4
  11. I would email corsairs service/warranty department, you can probably buy the front panel straight through their service department
  12. They are pop rivets as has been mentioned but you CAN absolutely drill them out and replace them with pop rivets again once you are done. Ive had to do it to paint cases properly before. You need a pop rivet tool/gun but they arent expensive, you can get them on amazon for like 25 bucks
  13. I looked at that case and really wanted it but the problem is I would feel compelled to fill the case and being im a corsair fanboi that would be like $1200 in fans alone lol
  14. I have spent between 150-300 for the last few I have bought and never really thought twice about it. My current case Im doing a build in is a Define r6 usbc and I think it was $250 CAD when I bought it last year. I really want an Inwin 915, that guy is $569 CAD but Im not sure I can do the water cooling loop I want in it
  15. I actually disagree with this part, I find using the ditro plates easier to work with as opposed to snaking tubes from one component to the next, running everything off a well designed block for your case makes it a breeze. As to the OP question, if you are doing hardline you need a finishing tool to clean the cuts, a tool to cut the tube and a heat gun
  16. Its actually no where near as bad as it looks in pictures as far as airflow goes, testing on the case was actually pretty favourable but I also have no problem swinging the front door open if needed. Thanks for the input though, I appreciate it
  17. I know you said not to say it but Im gonna cause its what I found works best for me. I eye ball it. Ive been in a field where I build things all the time from scratch so maybe ive just gotten good at it but I have done two different loops in the last 18 months, both had 2 different compound bends and both builds I just eyeballed it and nailed it. I mean I can think of a few different ways of doing it, using string, using clay, using split loom, all different ways of mocking it up but at the end of the day I would just go by eye, especially since you said you ordered extra tube. Im planing out my next one right now and i ordered 12 meters of tube for a loop thats only gonna be doing cpu at first but I wanted to make sure that I had extra incase I want to do any kind of weird bends
  18. Apple customers are loyal to Apple. Things like lack of IO might make some complain but in the end the MAJORITY by the new product regardless because they want Apple. The amount of people refusing to buy based on something like IO is so minor that its not worth designing an entire line for them. You adapt to Apples new way or you dont buy Apple, but those that want it almost always justify it in the end
  19. I dont live there, so this is hilarious
  20. Ya it comes down to credit card processing fees in most cases.
  21. I agree with basically all of this, I cant comment about the Screenpad as I have no clue what that is and I have no idea what you wrote at the end as I only speak English. Everything else Im on board with
  22. The first loop I did I ordered all my own parts, I ordered my rad and tubing from primochill and ordered a bunch of fittings and a cpu block from bykski, bought a distro plate/pump from somewhere else and ordered my gpu block straight from evga. No idea if I paid more or less than buying a kit but I liked the fact that I was able to get everything I wanted, also I was able to order some extra fittings and what not without spending a fortune as I bought them in bulk from ali express
  23. So I have an inlet/outlet question here. I have a define r6 case and am planning my next loop. Im thinking I might use a corsair XD3 pump and mount it at the back of the case where you would normally put an outlet fan. I will then be doing a pair of 360mm rads, one up top and one in the front. Would it be a problem to set the front fans on the front rad as intakes and then set the fans on the top rad as outlet? Like if these are my only fans am I gonna have a problem with airflow? Im using Corsair LL fans in case that factors in.
  24. They had a logistics issue I believe, I think they tweeted about it and there is a forum post somewhere about it. It set them back a little bit. I wouldnt sweat it, they have been good in the past whenever I dealt with them
