  1. Does anybody have a black screen iPhone 6s? I am in need of a display.

  2. Really the issue is that the frame (atleast on the 6s) is just a flat piece of aluminum internally. There is no structure to support it, only by the PCB and display. That depends on the shop you go/send it to.
  3. iPhone 7 was not a "bendgate" phone... That was the 6/6s, specifically the plus models. Sounds like the known default with IP7 boards then, a well versed board repair specialist like Louis Rossman can usually fix it. "Bendgate" refers to an issue with the iPhone 6, 6s, and their respective plus models, that had a tendency to bend due to poor internal design. This REALLY only affected the plus models.
  4. You have the wrong witcher game when showcasing the signup bonus.
  5. I know exactly 0 laptops in the past decade that support this. The BIOS password is almost always stored on the BIOS chip itself, clearing the CMOS only works on boards where this is not the case. You all have also failed to ask incredibly basic and crucial questions. What laptop model is it? What version of windows is it running? (That BSOD could be XP, Vista, or 7)
  6. WHY DO PEOPLE YELL IN TITLES? The iPhone 7 does have a component level issue that can cause bootlooping and black screens. Does the phone show up in iTunes? What happens when you plug it in to a PC?

    I NEED HELP!!

STOP YELLING AND MORE PEOPLE MIGHT ANSWER What are you trying to do here exactly? What is the point of feeding both audio sources in to one headset?
  8. Im having the issue as well, also in FL.
  9. Anybody here have an Otterbox Defender on their 11 Pro Max? If you grip the case with 2 hands, with your thumbs on the inside of the plastic (touching the screen), does the case creak? Also, if your hands are large enough to grip the phone from both sides one handed, does it creak when squeezed?

    Thank you!

What colour iPhone 11 Pro Max should I get? I'm…

That was how I felt as well, stopped in to the apple store with my trade in phones only to realize one of the screens were cracked. That's fixed now though. I may very well go green, im glad somebody else agrees on how good it looks! @Den-Fi
  11. I actually prefer GIMP over Photoshop, so to each their own I guess! I also never got a notification for your reply, so sorry about that
  12. What colour iPhone 11 Pro Max should I get? I'm probably getting a DBrand skin regardless, so it's all about the color of the stainless steel. Not getting gold, but stuck between Space Grey, Midnight Green, and Silver.

it will depend on your dbrand skin design you're choosing for it imo. for regular use, i  like the space grey for some reason, fits in with the camera lens design in a cool way.

Every interaction with Apple support is a fight…

Not switching, just continuing to not buy anything through them. Second hand/distributors only. @Pascal...
  15. Depending on price I may be ordering one of these, very interested.
  16. @DrMacintosh has done the hackintosh G5 mod, is struggling with GPU thermals ATM even with a fairly tame GPU (RX580)

XS Max has a rattle and Apple Pay does not work, was told (after verifying location) I could walk in to my local apple store with little hassle and get my phone swapped out.

Well, every bit of that was apparently a lie and I forgot how much the support sucks at my local apple store, guys are absolute cocks. Now im waiting a few days for Apple to send their replacement... Heres hoping the manager at the store is reasonable and offers me SOMETHING for wasting a total of 4 hours of my life and 60 miles worth of gas. while also giving me a massive migrane. Not to mention the same thing happened to me back in 2016 with a Macbook Pro...

Been a user of apple products for 15 years, my decision to give them as little of my money directly as possible only gets more reinforced by the day.

  19. I can do you one better! The 4s is the longest running supported apple device, it got its final update July 23rd 2019. Launch date was October 14th 2011! Also, using a 6s as a spare phone as we speak, original battery is at 97% health per iOS. Runs nearly as smooth as it does on my XS Max (which is being replaced tomorrow free of charge due to an internal rattle and Apple Pay not working), though is clearly RAM limited, as it does lag for a little bit opening apps while streaming music. But hey, iOS 13.1 supported on a device that came out almost 5 years ago? I have never seen an android phone do that. Hell, my old Note 8 hardly got updates by the time my 2 year contract was up.
  20. Small substantiation. My XS Max was defective and I am finally getting it replaced for free by Apple, simply didn't have the time before and the issue wasn't massive for me. Apple pay didn't work, which was annoying but I didn't bother with it. Anyways, my old 6s was a near seamless transition since it will run 13.1 quite well. This is a 32GB phone and I've used 24GB of it fully loaded with all the stuff off my XS Max. iOS itself is a little under 5GB. Im not sure how I managed, but the battery is original and at 97% health.
  21. Not really, and I charge depending on how long the video is and how much the creator can afford. I edit for free most of the time, but a quick google nets that a video editor can make roughly 30-80k per year.
