  1. So for a new build I'm looking to be using the Lian li 011 Dynamic (original right?) but have some question about the internal io. firstly head maths says i need three internal headers one for the front panel usb, one for the coolers rgb and also a one for the fan and rgb controller for the nine uni fans I plan to put in it. but it seems there are only two internal headers is this correct? If you have this exact board would be helpful to hear. ty
  2. Has anyone had any luck trying to find a Lian Li 011 Dynamic in the UK at rrp and not on ebay.

  3. it will probably do well enough, but is no direct solution. though you will need to remove the shroud around the heat fins to get the best result otherwise your blowing air at a plastic wall
  4. yes for windows but you wont get much more on there. maybe save and get a larger drive
  5. A UK retailer by the name of Very.com has cancelled around 1000 orders placed by a scalper group after they boasted about in in social media, also Very.com stated that they had to cancel other peoples orders in resolving this issue. My thoughts I feel this is a massive win but is realistically only a small step in combating the plight of people using bots and large groups to collectively gather large amounts of stock of an item. Though this really is not a new phenomena with a combination of many new and great hardware releases the demand for products has been very high as its also covered much more actively by media outlets as areas like gaming and PC hardware become more relevant to culture and media. So its great this has been caught and end of lesson is don't facilitate their activates as it will attract more to do as they are doing if it works. (the AMD reddit has an amusing post about what 'not' to do with scalpers). 6. @sqquare will you take a packet of Hobnobs and three paper clips?
  7. @Tscanivel you should be fine to put in into the other slot. check you mobo manual to see if one is a priority slot over the other as they can be. then you should just clone then erase the old drive and you should be good.
  8. also how many m.2 slots do you have. if you only have one you might need a way to connect though a different method.
  9. So you will need to get a cloning tool firstly and clone it across. the method will change with with different software. ( there are lots of free versions available) Then you will need to make sure in your bios that the new m.2 is selected as your primary boot drive. Also if you have a SATA mechanical hard drive you may need to change the port its plugged in to (i had to though not entirely sure why). finally boot to the new dive a few times to make sure its all correct then your can do with your old drive as you please. THIS IS A REALLY CUT DOWN INSTRUCTION SET, FOLLLOW WHAT THE CLONING SOFTWARE SAYS AS IT MIGHT DIFFER FROM WHAT I HAVE SAID
  10. principally yes. but if there is a spike in power usage as some have reported then it will shut down your system
  11. @Joe_ sommin like this https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/gaming/pc-gaming/gaming-monitors/lg-class-ultragear-27gl850-b-quad-hd-27-nano-ips-lcd-gaming-monitor-black-10204170-pdt.html?istCompanyId=bec25c7e-cbcd-460d-81d5-a25372d2e3d7&istFeedId=2f489429-2329-4fcd-941a-a6a497a10e1d&istItemId=ipmamqatm&istBid=t&awc=1599_1605876100_bc15b8be0589bd8afd451b6ab5230817&srcid=369&xtor=AL-1&cmpid=aff~Cycling Builder~Communities %26 UGC~127079~PCPartPicker (a little over) though i got both of mine on sale. Acer Predator XB241H. Benq XL2020g
  12. you can but you need the right generation of HDMI cable and the monitor support that standard though most monitors use DP for high refresh rate
  13. this will make a super op build. also would you consider a Quadro card as it might make your workflow faster
  14. go on Pcpartpicker and spec your pc to find out power usage is at the bottom. also the TDP of the 10700k may vary on your overclock
  15. as @DG House said its not supported but might be in the future (hopefully). What is your budget and also you will need to find a monitor that supports high refresh rates through HDMI as some cheaper monitors only will support it with Display port
  16. can you post a picture My stand for refrence:https://www.vonhaus.com/vh_en/home-office/double-arm-monitor-mount-with-clamp?utm_content=_dc|pcrid|420157449480|pkw||pmt||grp||product|3005074|slid||pgrid|98699167089|ptaid|pla-877834391009&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIitOe6aqH7QIVBpOyCh2uMAmzEAQYBCABEgLwtPD_BwE
  17. Samsung probably the place to look. for g-sync one you will need to look second hand at your price and requirement range
  18. if its Knorr chicken noodle soup then that. if not then tomato
  19. no one really knows how many cards are being produced or how many are being sent to builders and sellers. similar thing happened with 20 series.
  20. well it would effect your other games if you didn't, their performance that is. Also I might be a bug (lets hope it is) so the problem might be resolved soon
  21. @Jacrispy all good and working?
