    Remember what Hitler said:

"The best way to take control over a people and control them utterly is to take a little of their freedom at a time, to erode rights by a thousand tiny and almost imperceptible reductions. In this way, the people will not see those rights and freedoms being removed until past the point at which these changes cannot be reversed."

So... Google got fined for developing and providing Google apps for the Google OS.
Can’t wait for Apple to be fined for providing Apple apps for their OS.

For long-term unplugged storage, which technology is currently more durable overall? SSDs or HDDs?
My greatest fear with this shift in storage technology is related to that.

Considering the proliferation of aftermarket repair parts in China, and one vlogger's successful attempt to build his own iPhone from those parts, it actually surprises me that we aren't seeing a truly counterfeit iPhone running iOS yet.

I never quite understood this sudden "the robots are taking our jobs"-hype.
We’ve been massively "robotising" our work for at least 150 years now. Machines replaced craftsmen, machines replaced counters, machines replaced typewriters, drafters, harvesters, plowers, carpenters, stokers, maids, messenger boys, calculators, book copiers, trafic lights, etc etc etc. Big changes. Massive. Mind-boggling.

And what happened, those 150 years? Well, turns out, we all found other jobs (and enjoyed the increased productivity by buying even more complicated stuff).

It seems that 6 core i9 is a little too much for thin, lightweight, and constricted laptops. Be it Mac or PC that chip needs a beefy cooling solution.

This problem could be fixed with a larger, 17-inch MacBook with keeping the thin factor but more space to add more cooling options. Add a 4K screen to make professionals crazy for it, target market, with a bigger battery added as well.

Who is honestly shocked? Apple's thermals have been garbage for years. Their priorities are thin and light, damn everything else.

The chassis is so impossibly thin it can give you a papercut, and isn't that all that really matters?

The next president needs to take a serious look at having the FCC regulate what sources can and cannot call itself “news”, and institute minimum standards including a commitment to reporting the truth. Everything else can be opinion or entertainment, and should be represented as such with a gigantic disclaimer.
