Where I am from, VR and MR is very expensive. However I was able to score a Lenovo MR Kit on clearence for $250, down from $700. I love this thing. I use it exactly for what you want. It definately helps that on Steam, there is a plugin for Steam VR on MR, which streamlines the process. It is definately a low budget VR option, with the main downside is the specs of the kits compared to a Vive, or Rift Kit.

For Context: In Australia, a Vive Pro Kit costs $2199 - https://www.pccasegear.com/products/42283/htc-vive-pro-virtual-reality-headset-kit

This sounds like a preference is set to be GPU accelerated. Simple fix is inside media encoder, go to Prefrences -> General -> Video Rendering -> Change Render to software only. That should take away the gpu strain and put it on the cpu. Also try changing the priority of Media Encoder in Task Manager to a higher setting to prioritise the program to use more CPU.
    See if that Works.

    Cheers.

Personally, I like skins that fit my personality, intrests, and knowledge. That's why I like things that mirror metals or carbon fibre, geometric patters, as well as camo due to my interest in military.
Everyone I talk to who put skins on things, they feel so much better when their device mirrors their personality. Maybe you should try it, because it could help your decision.

You're comparing two completely different things. Network speeds aren't related to display cable speeds here.

Yes. Assuming your mobo supports it. Which all recent boards do.
There are no special requirements or instructions compared to any other sata drive.

    Good Design you have there.
For the Cooler, I would refer to LTT's videos so you can get the information and then decide yourself, but both those choices are good.

I run an external Blu Ray drive.
Here is the one I have. https://www.pccasegear.com/products/24977/pioneer-bdr-xd05t-external-blu-ray-writer
Having one is like having an external HDD so it's no big deal carrying it around if you wish to carry your media.

If you are a big content consumer try looking into Plex Media Server to store your media.

the ones OP linked are just using standard ATX PSUs, an upgrade to a cheap corsair CX should work.

Check eBay for current prices of these parts or a similar system. Otherwise, I would take about 15% off the original price, for every year of use you got out of it (15% = 1 year, 30% = 2 years).

If the driver package doesn't work and you don't want to nuke windows, you can install the Microsoft default driver in Device Manager, but you won't have Experience

I have been having the same problem with the drivers on my rig. I believe this is due to a corrupted installation on your side or a new driver that the software wants to download but is having some trouble with it. The easiest way to fix anything with GeForce Experience is to get a new copy of the latest driver package and GeForce software from the GeForce website (They are guaranteed to work unlike the ones on Nvidia's main website). Here's the link: https://www.geforce.com/drivers
