  1. What's with the ram config on that pc? You guys testing triple channel on X299 or something?
  2. Preparing for an epic new build. SFF 9l, air cooling, custom cables, 3d printing, and ATX!

  3. Never heard about that. I guess that's kind of the point of "Gray import" though. It does seem weird considering Vermont's very intense Inspection requirements though.
  4. Is there any reliable way to obtain one of these cards? I'm building a blender/solidworks/fusion360 rig right now.
  5. If only they would make another Shield portable. That thing was awesome, and I bet one with refreshed hardware and a high refresh rate screen would do well.
  6. Why is this still here? It isn't news, mods please remove or delete. These are super common in ultra sff builds.
  7. I've been a huge fan of the Borderlands franchise ever since it was introduced to me through a steam sale. I was so excited when I heard we were actually going to get Borderlands 3, but the Epic Games store exclusivity is a killer for me. I won't be buying it on the Epic Games store launcher strictly due to the security problems and the ties Tencent has with the Chinese Communist party. This is unfortunate, but we shouldn't be supporting Epic for this. I'll be excited to play Borderlands 3 on it's real release date in April of 2020.
  8. Clearly we need to get Gamers Nexus and JayzTwoCents into a Nintendo Switch Overclocking battle now. I bet you could just strap an AIO to the back and it would be fine.
  9. I'm having a lot of trouble getting my Xeon E5 2670 v3 ES to boot in my X99 OC Formula. I don't have any X99 cpu's to update the bios with either, so it looks like I'm going to have to buy a pre-flashed bios chip off ebay. Fun.

If you lived within easy driving distance I'd have helped you out. I have a 5960X.

  10. Trying to snag all the OC Formula boards. I'm trying to snag a z77 OCF right now.

Got the Z77 OCF! It's got a box too!

  11. I hope not all the 2080ti's are going to be 3 slots, otherwise people that have sff systems are going to have a bad time.
  12. I'm pretty worried about the heat these cards make considering the dual fan founders card. Especially since we are now getting leaked pictures of AIB cards, a lot of the ones I have seen appear to be 2.5/3 slots wide. That is a very worrying thing for me for a few reasons, the first being that if all 2080ti's are going to be 3 slots wide, standard itx cases are not going to be able to fit them. My second concern is that if they need to be 3 slots wide, they probably are going to run super hot. Just my 2 cents.
  13. Honest question, if I don't care about the data on my computer, is it even worth doing the update? I mean it's confirmed to slow down the CPU, so if I'm purely a gamer why bother with the patch?
  14. I've never clicked a link so fast
