  1. I've now had two days in a row again when the computer didn't power on at first when pressing the power button but I think I've identified what causes the problem. I'm using Singxer F-1 USB Audio Bridge connected to a rear USB port and when I disconnect it the computer immediately powers on. I can then reconnect it and everything works fine. I have no idea how this could cause the problem or whether the problem actually lies with the motherboard, PSU or the device itself but at least I now know what to do if the computer doesn't want to power on.
  2. Today I had an unusual problem with my PC in that it wouldn't power on when I pressed the power button. The computer had worked properly earlier today. Pressing the Start-button on the motherboard didn't work either, though all the lights were lit. I tried unplugging the computer, using a different outlet, checking that everything was plugged in properly etc. but nothing seemed to work but when I unplugged my mouse and keyboard the computer suddenly booted by itself and now everything seems to work fine. Could this be an issue with the PSU or motherboard? The PSU is a Coolermaster V1000 and the motherboard is an Asus Maximus VI Hero. I've noticed occasionally during the last six months or so that the computer sometimes takes an extra second or two to start when pressing the power button. It's already 6½ years old and I've been planning to upgrade it soon but I'm hoping it'd still last for a few months, at least until Ryzen 4000 and RTX 3000 series are released.
  3. My favorites that I've played in no particular order: Horizon Zero Dawn Bloodborne The Last of Us Remastered Beyond: Two Souls Detroit: Become Human God of War Uncharted 4 Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
  4. I've been playing games close to 35 years now, so it's pretty much impossible for me to remember everything I've played but these are my favorite games that I've played in recent years: - Witcher 3 - Bloodborne - The Last of Us Remastered - Uncharted 4 - Uncharted: The Lost Legacy - Horizon Zero Dawn - Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice - Civilization V - God of War - Diablo III: Reaper of Souls
  5. I'd been planning on getting a PS4 for a long time and I finally bought the Pro this christmas along with a nice 65" 4K HDR TV. The choice was clear cut for me as Sony has loads of games that I really wanted to play and it has really revitalized my interest in games. The first two games I got were Horizon Zero Dawn and The Last of Us Remastered, both which are easily 10/10 games for me.
  6. I usually don't bother taking screenshots while playing, but Horizon Zero Dawn is just so beautiful that I had to. Here's some of my favorites:
  7. I recently got a PS4 Pro because it has much more games that I want to play like Horizon Zero Dawn, Last of Us, Detroit Become Human etc. Xbox really has nothing that interests me.
  8. 1. PC 2. DAC/AMP 3. Both speakers So four switches total.
  9. I first stumbled upon Linus (NCIX TechTips) back in early 2011 when I was doing research for my next build so it's been almost 7 years now.
  10. Looks like my 4770K is fortunately not vulnerable. Edit: Ah, looks like the vulnerability is not affecting fourth gen Core CPUs.
  11. If we're talking about realistic dream cars, then my choice would probably be a Focus ST.
  12. Yeah, I never realized how much work translating games to different languages actually requires.
  13. The only games I'm really looking forward to are Star Citizen and Cyberpunk 2077... it's gonna be a long wait.
