  1. Well, that’s amusing. Got a 50mm F/1.8 AI-s pancake in for modification and it’s adorably small.

  2. Challenging for sure, it’s quite a bit trippy. Hard to inspect with my eyes for too long. Went to a car show, I love old classics. Canon EOS R + Nikon 105mm F/2 DC
  3. Um…Intel had many revisions of 14nm, and none of those revisions are specced to 1.52, in fact most of them are around 1.35. But that’s irrelevant because Zen isn’t Intel…
  4. Currently restoring this 16mm F/3.5 fisheye for a client, and this is a photo from it before any work was done. I cannot wait to finish this restoration and see what this lens was capable of brand new, in 1973.

It has built in color filters to be used with black and white film on landscapes, this was taken with the orange filter.

The image is soft and hazy, which is due to this godawful separation in the rear element and fungus all over the color filters.

  5. Certain tubes and amps are known to expand stage on many headphones. Granted these are typically rare tubes from the 1940s that sell for thousands of dollars, but it can apply to cheaper new tubes as well, obviously to a lesser grade.
  6. 40 watts is the equivalent of a dim tungsten light bulb, are you really worried over that? Not to mention decent quality materials are not going to be a fire hazard unless you enjoy playing baseball with your tubes while the amp is powered on.
  7. Because tube amps provide characteristics that solid state amps do not. It’s stuff you’d need to actually use to notice or care about, not stuff on a sheet of paper.
  8. Got a new recording mic, a Lewitt LCT-440. It’s awesome.

  12. I found an editing error absolutely NO ONE else saw, but I fixed it anyway, so here's a repost.

Maybe you can drive yourself insane looking for the fix.

HDDs arriving tomorrow and the NAS itself is shipping soon 😄

Will definitely be posting pictures, of course.

  15. I like it. The colors go well together and it's visually interesting. This Lego NES set was absolutely awesome to build. It also was the first time I could shoot on this table with the glass on because of my new polarizer.
