    I'll believe it once the reviewers can confirm this kind of performance. If it had this kind of performance wouldn't they have said at least anything about it in the presentation? All we got to see was 'gigarays/s' which doesn't tell us anything about non-rtx performance. We also don't know what the Y-axis means so it could be anything. Still, would be very nice if it was true.

    Prices in the USA do not include taxes though (which is very stupid if you ask me), so it's slightly closer to the 999$ that it is supposed to be

    Damn, considering a gtx 1080TI would get 60-ish FPS on 4k in rise of the tomb raider this is a rather huge drop in performance. I'm going to hope it's a pretty bad/quickly thrown together implementation that's holding it back for now. Although it would explain why they didn't give any meaningful performance numbers during the presentation..

    Well, they removed the rush game mode, which had been in all recent bf titles. Guess they want those people to play operations now.

    This whole so-called 'fiasco' just shows how much battery tech is lagging behind the rest. I can't blame apple for doing this, I'd much rather have a phone that works than a phone that shuts off unexpectedly during heavy usage.

    Guess I was lucky, I've grabbed a 8700k on monday. Out of the 12 stores I was monitoring only one had 8700k's in stock, and only on monday.

    Looks like the 8700K will be my next CPU, since my 3770K is showing its age in games. Now if only I could actually buy it...

    I sure hope the new games that will release in the coming months have proper support for DX12, just so AMD can grab some more market share due to having better DX12 support, which in turn will push nvidia to make better things faster.

    That's how it works, you just run a command and it uploads the entire folder to their servers and it's immediately available

    Yeah 11 items is way too much, and most of them are utterly useless for me. "community standards" especially, there's no reason to have it as the second most important item there since most people will open it once, see what it is about and never open it again. Floatplane on the other hand is pretty important, yet it is the last item in the list where not many people will notice it. Staff/blogs/gallery/downloads/store all seem pretty useless, does anyone actually use those more than once to check out what they are?

    For that price you might as well go for 3x 1440p monitors, it'll be cheaper too.

    So this is like samsung's 32:9 monitor, only double 1080p. If it was 1440 I might've considered it but this is just too low of a resolution for that size.

    Nice, maybe I'll be able to get it in 2018, since Samsung takes forever to update their phones... The 21st of august will be interesting, a solar eclipse, Intel announcing their new lineup and now this.

    So looks like there are no IPC gains, again... That's too bad. Guess I'll wait for Cannonlake unless they delay it again. My i7 3770k is starting to show its age.

    I really don't understand what they are gaining by doing this, apart from a lot of negative press. Like seriously, why bother?

    That game you're talking about must be horribly optimized. I for example play battlefield 1 all the time at 5760x1080 (with a 1080) which is even more demanding than this monitor and it runs at 70-80 fps on ultra settings. And it's not exactly an easy to run game.
