Like someone else mentioned, your specs are meeting the recommended and required for the Rift S: https://www.oculus.com/rift-s/ If you would like to double check, I posted the Oculus website above, which lists the specs. I just got a Rift S, and so far I'm loving it! Although you're getting the portability with the Quest, the cons for me were being limited from playtime by the battery life, having only 64 GB of space (or 128 GB for $499) to download games (I have slow internet, so this would be killer for me) and the graphics won't be the same. It’s up to you in the end, but I think the Rift S is a better option if you have the PC to run it, which you do. Either way, enjoy VR! ?

I agree... Everything seems redundant and uninspired. With that being said, the new Borderlands comes out in September. Although, buying it on the Epic Games' store may be a downfall for you. Besides that, I don't really have much else to hype about. E3 happens next month, so hopefully there will be more game excitement heading your way and mine! ?

I bought the Oculus Rift S, and it's shipping to my house currently (it'll be here tomorrow). If you would like, I can give an update on how it is. I bought it because I'm bored of everything else. I wanted a new experience, I've never tried VR, and it's something my boyfriend and I can enjoy together. It's truly all up to your personal opinion though. I think it'll be worth it in my eyes (pun fully intended). But, if you're undecided, I would look at different reviews at types of VR headsets are out there, and I would watch plenty of gameplay of games offered on the platform. If you wanna get it, get it.

I had a lot of fps problems as well. I would be from 60-90 in most places, but would dip to 45 in that city area. Also, when I was in a certain area of freeplay, it capped me at 30 fps in one small region for some reason. And, whenever I do the stronghold, I lag out or the "server crashes" when I get to a certain part. (I tried 5 times). I was going to pre-order, but I'm going to wait to see how it goes at launch before I waste my money... ?

I want the Rams to win, even though I had been pulling for the Saints this season because my team sucks (Packers). I think the Rams have the chance to win, but the Patriots are always a team to fear. That being said, it was nice to see some teams in the playoffs that haven't been in a while. ?
