Edit: It's completely possible Origin PC puts "malware" on computers.

Nah. I know it's a sponsored video and all so take what I say with a grain of salt, but while setting up I noted the Origin image is pretty much a stock Win11 install. The only extras I saw were wallpapers, user profile icons, and in our case an RGB lighting profile in iCUE (not sure if that's standard or not), though in fairness I didn't run a malware scan so I guess I can't confirm. Either way, CCleaner and WinZip were installed by me.

Before you game, work, or watch on your new PC, there are some important things to ensure your CPU, GPU, RAM, and more are all working as intended. Good news: It’s easy when you know how!

  4. An entire generation of games are unplayable unless you kept your old PCs. Isn’t there some emulator we can use to bring the early days of 3D graphics back to life? There is! It’s called PCem.

  5. What if you didn’t need the best frame rate to reduce input latency? What if your display’s refresh rate was enough all on its own? With Async reprojection, anything is possible… Even turning 30 FPS into 240.
