    First a few questions:
    Why do you want to upgrade? What do you want to accomplish with upgrading? What is your budget/location? What games do you play/stream? What resolution/refresh rate do you play at?

    Temps will depend on several factors including how much voltage you'll need for the oc. At worst, it shouldn't be any more than 80-90c at load.

    But coming back to the topic:
    Is the ML240L good enough to cool the CPU?

    I ended up doing a system restore and that fixed it. I'll keep that in mind though.

    have you checked if the gpu fits in your case ?, gpu length is 325mm, case max gpu length is 290mm

    Try updating your BIOS and CPU/Mobo drivers, then see if the Manual fan setting stays on.
