    As long as the barrel plug is the same size as the port on the keyboard, you're fine. The two connectors also use the same polarity, so you're good to go

    If you look closely you can see that its not just that the contact pads has fallen off or something. The traces them selves dont go all the way out to where the pads potentially should have been.
    So this is by design. Your issue has to be something else.
    Have you tried reinstalling the drivers?

    Honestly I can count the bugs I have encountered on one hand, after 57 hours of gameplay. And none of them have been game-breaking.
    The hate I understand for the console version, if the game is unplayable, its unplayable. But on PC at least, it doesn't play any worse than an Elder Scrolls game.
     
    Just waiting for my 3070 to arrive...

    Yeah that's what I thought, I've just always ran it off a single PCIe cable that has the piggyback plugs back when I used to use it.

    If the 660ti takes 2 cables, then no it wont be to much and is required. The card will not output if all the PCIe power isnt supplied that it is expecting.

    To be sure, you can try to monitor the chipset temperature with software like HWMonitor, if it goes over ~75C there might be some issues.

    If the fan spins up on startup then stops, it is just testing to see if the fan works or not.
     
    It should turn on when the chipset is getting hot, and needs to cool it down.

    I have always had this problem with windows, I have set the permissions to allow everyone, I have turned off password-protected sharing in the sharing centre and have even made sure to enable the correct services and windows features.
     
    Why can't I access the shared drive without a password?

    Found a solution, posting it in case anyone else has this issue in the future.
     
    Opened Windows Features by searching "Turn Windows features on or off", scrolling down,
    expanding "SMB 1,0/CIFS File Sharing Support" and turning on "SMB 1.0/CIFS Client"
    Server was on, not client.
