duxck got a reaction from Slayerking92 in WAN to LAN throughput 1Gbps Router for my home.
    Hello LTT Forums,

Okay, for some reason it seems pretty difficult to find information about WAN to LAN throughput on routers. Either it is not published at the retailers or the product is marked for businesses in ways I don't know how to search for.
So, can anyone point at a couple of brands/models of routers that support WAN to LAN / LAN to WAN throughput of at least 2gbps? I have currently 1gbps connection at home, with my current RT-N66U I get about 700mbps which isn't too bad for such an old router.

I am however aware that I can squeeze out about 1.5 gbps when I connect my computer straight to the wall.
I would prefer if the router doesn't have an Access Point built in.

I plan on purchacing a switch with PoE and WiFi 6 AP seperately so don't need many ports on the router.

Get a docking station that support two monitors and plug the third monitor into the HDMI of your laptop.
Example of a docking station: https://www.amazon.com/Plugable-Universal-Docking-Station-Ethernet/dp/B00ECDM78E

This specific model supports 1920x1200@60Hz or 2560x1440@50Hz, do check if that is enough. Comes with DVI and HDMI connector, but also a HDMI to DVI cable, meaning you only need three HDMI cables, to connect the displays to your laptop/docking station. A USB docking station has its own videocard, meaning it's not recommend to do heavy videocard work (like 3D modeling) on your monitors connected to a docking station.

Optionally go into Control Panel's energy settings, so you can close your laptop lid without it turning off

I've really really liked the collaborations you've done with different YouTube creators over the years with bringing them the hardware they need to continue delivering great content.
I just watched the behind the scenes of Yes theory's latest documentary and it seems like they had some issues with their rendering of it and would love to see you guys hook them up.
