The tldr of this before I get into it is this: On the 20th-21st June, the EU is going to be voting on new copyright legislation for the internet. This legislation, if passed, can mean that copyright holders can sue anyone who includes even a snippet of a sentence from their own news articles or even links to copyrighted material. This means that anything from parodies of music videos to critiques of films and such can be blocked if they contain any copyrighted content. I am kinda surprised no one has posted a thread on this matter since it has the potential to screw literally everyone over, EU or not. Rip me, I'd trade my 10 mbs down that costs $60 a month for that.

Then there is me who regularly exchanges paper money for pennies and then sort through them to find the full copper ones and then exchange the copper zinc ones for more pennies to repeat the process. The moral of the story is that I like to keep my money in a form that has universal physical value regardless of whatever money standard is in place.

I mean my one friend in the Air Force pays $100 a month for a 1 gig down, no idea what his up is. Note he does have to pay for his own internet and is just in a very convenient spot to get it cheap.
