  1. na i mean i cant erase and install. do i need to follow the steps of dual boot? um like idk what to do next (Very new to linus)

  3. ya do that, also those changes couldnt lead to the SSD problem.
  4. damn.. idk how it doesnt even show in BIOS. what exactly did you do till now?
  5. OK so literally new to pop os but i managed to fiqure this one out.. see if it works for you. search disk there you should be able to see all your connected drives. There you can just mount it and done. let me know if it works or not.
  6. Want to get into Linux and i heard its a bit of learning curve for someone who haven't even been in a terminal (some basics like CD or dir is all i know). I think this is the best time to get started.
    Now how to get in?

      Pop OS is a nice, easy distro. Most things are taken care of and you don't have to touch terminal really unless you want to.

      You should though. Lots of cool things you can do.

      It's Ubuntu based, so most tutorials out there apply to it.

      I want to hit the terminal actually, got like 3 months of spare time now so might as well learn something new.

      If your goal is primarily learning terminal commands you might like to checkout Ubuntu Server. It has no GUI (though one can be installed). You could have a go at setting up services or applications.

      It's not a bad way for a beginner to get their feet wet.

  7. just now he called and said ur wifi is slow.. ya it was him lol.
  8. if ur also including wifi connects then i have a neighbour who uses my connection. but it never appeared in my network. should i call ISP about this?
  9. but i am the only user, plus this is a dedicated optic fiber line. Does it mean its not?
