LG G4: Here are the first official images, weeks ahead of schedule
hassanul replied to Victorious Secret's topic in Tech News
I hope they solved the heating issues that the G3 had. My G3 with lollipop 5.0 is running a bit hot after sometime of use, although not really of a problem for me as I have a thick phone case on it. Other than that, design looks almost the same as the G3 -

Digital is digital. Doesn't really make any difference. It is a pure ripoff.

Is the rasberry pi a+ good enough for emulation?
hassanul replied to Johntheawesomeguy's topic in General Discussion
Yes. Why not? MAME has excellent compatibility -
Happened to me too, chrome was using almost 15 processes. I had disabled all 3rd party extensions and add ons. For now I'm using IE which actually takes only 1 second to launch, compared to chrome which takes almost 6 seconds. Changed the homepage and search provider to google, and I'm a happy man again

Gosh, I started watching his unboxings from 3-4 years ago (I think). Found his channel while browsing youtube for tech videos

Intel NUC - the NUC stands for Next Unit of Computing in case you don't know

I love my G3. Although it overheats sometimes, but I use a thick case to make up for it. Battery is awesome, lasts all day. Waiting for the Lollipop update and I'm super excited for it!

I would love to have an Intel NUC for my TV as a streaming machine and as a media center! Also I might use it a small local server for my home!

I don't think 1080p is ever going anywhere, at least for the next 5-8 years, Until windows fixes the scaling problem

I would use it for 3D modeling in Autodesk Inventor.

Looks okay to me.. but I hope the connectors for it isn't expensive. I haven't had much issues with micro usb, except for a few cheap cables that broke, otherwise most of them are still working

I like how the phone has a dedicated camera button (I take a lot of pictures), its waterproof and dustproof and its IPS screen

Its a marvel, but its a shame that the GPU heats up wayyy too much. I wouldn't mind having one with 2x its size

It sure looks fun, but price is too high... I could make one myself DIY though

LG G3 Review and.... TWENTY-FIVE Phone Giveaway?!
hassanul replied to LinusTech's topic in LTT Releases
I like how LG made the G3's back panel removable, as I change batteries on my phone quite often. I also like that there is STILL a microSD slot, unlike some phones that doesn't have one (Looking at you Google). I like the UI and the vol up/down and power button as I constantly accidentally mash the power buttons when trying to adjust volume on my note 2 -
Unable to adjust brightness after Windows 8.1 Update

Both doesn't seem to be working, even tried changing the brightness using the charms menu. -
Unable to adjust brightness after Windows 8.1 Update
hassanul replied to hassanul's topic in Troubleshooting
I did run the compatibility program that Microsoft has multiple times (~3 times). It didn't report any problems with both of the drivers. -
Hello I just updated to Windows 8.1 and I couldn't change the brightness of my laptop screen. Tried reinstalling and updating both the Intel and Nvidia drivers from the acer website and the intel/nvidia website as well as the older drivers that worked before the update. I could adjust the brightness slider from the charms menu but the brightness of the screen just won't change at all. My laptop is an Acer V3-571G, has Intel 4000 Graphics and a GT640M for the discrete graphics. Thanks for your time
