Finally! its been like 2 years since have that problem. I got a ROG SWIFT PG278Q at 144hz with a g-sync and other 2 monitors at 120hz 1080p, my clock speed is 1189mhz idle, not normal and also power usage. I used to have all 3 120hz monitor, no problem and very low idle. 144hz + seem have problem running high idle clock because 144hz? it shouldn't be. Not just ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q, other monitor at very high refresh rates have same problem. Can't wait to get FIXED! -
I got one too, I feel same as you. I'm not really sure. It would be nice if there a upgrade system that i can trade in my PG278Q and upgraded to PG279Q for like i would say $300 extra to pay for a upgrade. that would be a nice and friendly trade-in system. If not, i would just stick with my PG278Q, still a good monitor anyway.

Oh wow, technology going fast. I am owner of ROG SWIFT PG278Q and I'm still happy with it at the moment.

EA skipped a Battlefront campaign because "very few" would play it

BULLSHIT! very few players play on SP? i smell bullshit, I love single player story. if its a full price for just MP, i won't buy it. -
I didn't like the taste of tap water, it taste like metal but i always do use tap water into a bottle and put in the fridge to keep it cold and its taste way better. Different place or river where the water come from can be different taste. So no, not all the water taste the same.

I have one just arrived and but keep in mind that if you got a 1440p 144hz monitor with g-sync, the idle temp will be 60c, 0db doesn't work very well . i know its bit hot but when i switch to 120hz and it went down 51c idle and 0db worked. 144hz 1440p makes my card hot some reason . -
I have same problem but i restart my pc and it working fine.
-
I know that feeling, I pre-ordered that card since a month ago and still haven't got it. Edit: And the release date is still ETA, Most likely this week or next week .

Yeah, i like Marshall brand too. I got a JCM2000 DSL100 Marshall with 1960A lead (reissue) since 3 years ago before Jim Marshall passed away and its made in UK, I'm lucky. But now, i know my guitarist/repair staff from music store and he said some Marshall are now made in china. I got pissed, they don't make in UK anymore.. I just want to know what the hell just happen to Marshall and what the hell are they doing since Jim Marshall passed away.

then there will be shutters if you turn on v-sync
