I don't even know where to begin. Like how they spun off the whole story as to how they got banned over TPU to (I had my own self banned), or the fact that they know so much about PSU's or Half-Life lore, things that have absolutely nothing to do with my take on this individual.

First of all, yes Caroline, the Zenforo in TPU does not say Banned next to your name when you get the kick to the exit door. Instead, it leaves your account like a normal account that just isn't being used. However, I'm sure there's a backstory to your TPU ban that you're not bringing it here. Don't worry, I figured you'll lie about that stuff too...

they do sometimes delete user information when things go way too downhill though, which by then, it says something along the lines of "Deleted user 00125". That means you're gone for good and can not be unbanned.

Caroline, come to think of it, why would you have yourself banned? Did you just go to some random mod and tell them to ban your account for no absolute reason? This makes no sense at all. You can simply not use that account and it would work the same way, you know?

As to the rest of your rant about how much more you understand about PSUs and stuff... I'll leave it here. I feel like I'm wasting my time on these posts. Actually, forget about it, I'll just put you to ignore from now on.

So ? Just because you see her Input on this Forum as not constructive or helping doesn't mean she or anyone else shouldn't be allowed to Post such Stuff. As long as one follows the Forum Rules they can do what ever they want here.
 
I'm personally a big Fan of the Off Topic section because it's cool for talking about non Tech things as well. And I appreciate that the Mod Team is chill, straight forward, fair and that you can also make jokes with them.

Most of use here are using this thread like discord honestly we like to talk about stuff and this is the place we did it.

Read the rules and there's no rule against "posting in off-topic" like it's literally a section of the forum for topics that don't belong in any of the other subs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh but I do comment in other sections, from time to time, I can make serious comments. I get the impression you're just jelly I'm an expert in power supplies, EE, and... Half-Life lore? oh well that's gotta account for something too.

I banned myself. Forum was kind of dead after the pandemic (except for Off-Topic lol) and I don't like keeping random accounts I won't use anymore.

Alot of forum regulars are like that. Heck this thread is shitpost thread/members off topic thread.

To be fair and set the record straight here:
Caroline IS currently a member in good standing over at TPU with over 800 posts to their credit.
I just checked their profile over there and that's how it is, even if they haven't logged in since last year. I've not seen any indications of a ban over anything but I'm sure Caroline can set that part of the story right if they have to.

And speaking of off topic:

There's a button there for if you don't like reading what someone posts btw.

Sounds like you have a lot of pent up anger that would be solved by not "having" to read a certain user's posts.
