  1. You bought it for $2, if it was worth trading for a GPU then you'd have paid GPU prices for it. Although, a Geforce 4 is probably about that price.....
  2. I'm glad I live far far away from this bullshit, unfortunately the bullshit is starting to spread.
  3. Find the smallest reason to go to court and make a claim and people will. If you take a company to court and loose, they have lost out on defending thsemselves and you have paid pretty much nothing.
  4. Depends on the agreement. In the UK once 1/3rd of the payments have been made the vehicle becomes protected and it required a court order to recover it. Tracking it and turning up with a spare set of keys would be theft, even though they still legally own it.
  5. Maybe I should rephrase... The mass manufactured shit that's played 5 times a day on most commercial radio stations is shite. In 12 months no-one plays it as the next wave of "this years top hits" has been shovelled out. The odd new song comes out that I like but it quickly ends up last years music and you never hear it played.
  6. Indeed there is, most of the shite from the last decade for example. I wouldn't call that music either.
  7. And buy a car to pick the parts up in
  8. Maybe when the noises that he spouts out resemble music he will get paid for it
  9. You're probably better off buying or building something from elsewhere. There are use cases where a Mac is a better option, but not many. Especially not an iMac.
  10. Old platform with most likely a "fake" graphics card, noisy cooler and questionable RAM.
  11. It does in America, meanwhile the civilized world uses the court system and doesn't allow people to just turn up and lift a car away for parking near a sign.
  12. Maybe they don't want broken down cars littering the roads I can say that, I own what may be one of Alfa Romeo's last "unreliable" cars.
  13. We pay less to drive older cars in the UK. Taxation is zero, classic insurance is dirt cheap and we don't have stupid restictions on modifications so using alternative parts to keep them going is easy to do.
  14. Probably if the onboard graphics can support the resolution, be hard pressed to find something that wouldn't these days really.
  15. I have these headphones with wire coming out of them. I don't need to worry about battery life, charging them, loosing them, or the price tag that takes the absolute piss. Also they look like some kind of parasite climbing into your ear. I do have a wireless set, but they are not tiny things, and they have a wire connecting the 2 sides for use in my helmet. They cost me £5 from Lidl and have a damn good battery life for what they cost, probably because they have a decent size cell in there.
  16. I have an old car with an anti-environment knob. Pull it out and it throws large quantities of smoke out of the back whilst throwing rocks and polar bears. I don't think the Euro emissions spec ever went this low but I can still drive it anywhere in Europe (until October 31st)
  17. Just dip it in the top and you're ready to go
  18. Maybe instead of just making the engine bigger they actually put work into getting more power from what they have. If you think you need a v8 to get 400 BHP you're living in the 50's
  19. We also have cars that will push 80 MPG. Fuel costs and stupidly tight emissions regulations forced manufacturers to do everything they can to get more power from smaller engines whilst using less fuel. That development also ends up in the larger engined cars so we get fast cars that can sip fuel when taking it easy. Not really an issue in the US of A with 7.6 litre engines in family cars that have enough torque to tow a house, but only ever get used for taking rabid children to the weekly anti-vax meeting.
