  1. get 6600k and use the saving to get a ssd.
  2. unraid free up until like 6 drives, upgrade at anytime.
  3. Get a dead PSU and figure out how to replace the batteries. Colleges and school throw them out instead of replacing the batteries. (ie peice of mind of knowing its new) Old high end network gear of 1g bit spec should be easy to find. everyone wants 10g or more. I like ikea tables for racks but I don't care about pretty cables.
  4. That case makes me think, what is there to mod out. Very sleek.
  5. I love what you did with the 3d printed part. Normally I hate what a 3d printer puts out being spoiled in all with cncs. But you turned it into something that is very pretty. good work.
  6. If you build the motherboard mount to eatx and atx specs, you can always upgrade the inside hardware at later date.
  7. Nice progess on this. Just grind it out. Do you think you will be playing kinect games at a lan party?
  8. width of that rib is like 5mm, so your like double in the ap. you can do multi step down finish passes.
  9. Try doing multi steps down arround the outside profile. It looks like you were trying to take it in one with your web thickness vs height. I would say atleast 4 steps if not 6.
  10. Killer cpu for the money. That cpu is worth what the total build is if you bought it current gen and you would only get maybe 10 - 12 percent more performance.
  11. I bet it could be done but keeping a even heat without getting hot spots would be tricky. I don't know the melting vs working temp of bending petg but I bet the window of work ability is a fair bit smaller then glass.
  12. Don't put $100 of dollars of watercooling gear in a budget box. It will always feel like rims on a crap box.
  13. If your in a big enough city considered the used market with the 1080ti arround the corner. A few people will be upgrading from older cards.
  14. If history repeats 1080ti will be the same as titan as long as you do not need the extra couple gigs of frame buffer.
