  1. Why do you need one? It's basically just Silverstone with one, MSI, Seasonic and Asus. FSP announced them, but no info on when it will be available. But by the time you need an ATX 3.0 PSU you might have to buy a new one anyway. Pay early adopter tax and then buy another PSU later, doesn't seem smart.

Do you ever find yourself wondering if the numb…

60 USD is what it costs you, 25.74 is what it costs them if the package is lost.
  3. Why not wait until AMD reveals RDNA3 and see how the prices on 4000 series adjust. You don't have much to lose and it's not far away.
  4. I think transcoding on Plex at home is not something you want to be doing if you have budget limitations at all. If you want to watch 1080p on your devices use 1080p files on Plex. And then you don't really need a separate device. Also separate NAS is an additional expense as well, you can just share one of the drives from your PC and leave it on 24/7, PC idling doesn't use that much power. What I am building is a mostly gaming machine with a decently high end CPU, just for the future. And it can do Plex and NAS duties on the side.
  5. I would get 5700X. Intel iGPU is famously underdeveloped and not used in majority of applications and having just more cores sounds better.

Not sure if motherboard has enough SATA/M.2 for you, so that's a potential upgrade and spend whatever else you can spare on the GPU. Since your budget is so wild. edit:I meant to say that is what I am building at the moment, mostly, adjusted for US partpicker and I picked the case that has more HDD slots since you are already putting 2 drives in.
  7. Put a card in. Put it in the manual. Put it on the box.
  8. The funny part is that they could have saved even more money by not putting anything there AND this issue wouldn't exist.
  9. Zen3 has extremely fast frequency ramp time, so the temps will jump up too.
  10. That's not true at all. All the components maxed out would never even reach 650W. Not to mention most PSU's can run 120-130% for quite a bit.
  11. It is definitely enough, my cousin has 5800X + 6900 XT with a 650W superflower psu. 750W really would only be needed for 5950x or Intel CPU's. Manufacturers always assume people will buy bargain basement PSU's so they recommend higher wattages.
  12. If you're trying to get a clean look then buying a different keyboard is the way to go I think. Otherwise lots of scraping/sanding will be required.
  13. Seems extremely normal to me. Laptops boost to unsustainable levels all the time. Notebookcheck has a GE66 raider review with a 10980HK and they got 3.8-4.2 GHz on all core boost, similar to yours. https://www.notebookcheck.net/MSI-GE66-Raider-10SFS-Laptop-Review-Premiere-for-the-RTX-2070-Super.482423.0.html
  14. Definitely enough even for overclocking, but looking at recent trends with GPU power consumption don't you think it's better to get something on the beefier side? 650W of the same model is only 5 euros more on that page. https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/p/90778303
  15. That's not what I'm seeing on Amazon.de 6600XT 354Eur 6650XT 364Eur 6700XT 484Eur 6750XT 519Eur My local prices are higher than all of these tbh, but Amazon shipping is only 10 Euros.
  16. 6650XT. I think AMD doesn't really make many 6600XT's anymore so the price between these two is almost equal.
  17. Techpowerup did a review on E-cores only https://www.techpowerup.com/review/intel-core-i9-12900k-e-cores-only-performance
  18. More than enough, plenty even. Just don't get some budget 1000W.
  19. Sweet. Ordered a 12700 non-K build today after all the releases. No major breakthroughs so I will save some money. Just need to wait for RDNA3 to hopefully drop some bombs on pricing.
  20. The prices are absolutely insane at the moment. X670-P from MSI doesn't even have PCIe Gen5 for GPU and it costs 300 usd. You can get a Z690 board for less money with more features, the only thing that Ryzen has is a gen 5 m.2 slot, which is extremely useless.
  21. 7600X + platform is extremely expensive. 12600K is cheaper, 12700 has more cores. Gaming performance between them is splitting hairs. It's a very sad day when an AMD platform is more expensive.
  22. this one looks way better and it's so much cheaper.
  23. I doubt you will get gamer looks and modularity in such a specific use case...
  24. Uhh... I think it would be a lot cheaper/smarter to downsize that PC build a little bit and just go for one of the 500-750W PSUs from that page you linked, no?
