I know it's out of your budget but here's my recipe for a smart TV:
    - Logitech Ultimate/Elite remote (must have the Logitech Hub)
    - Intel NUC with native Plex media player
    - LEDs with light sensor
    - Amazon Echo Dot

    Good luck...
I have over 56k subscribers on YT (YetAnotherTechChannel), and my DIY PC build videos have anywhere between 40k to 1,4 mln ('How to make a desk PC for adults') views. 97% of the companies I tried to reach out to didn't even bother to answer my email. 3% emailed me back telling me that they are not interested. The only two companies that I managed to get in touch with were the guys behind the Sentry case (and that's only because they are Polish) and AMD - but they actually reached out to me.

As I've said before, this video feels like it's intended for 5-10 year old kids who watch Viners turn YouTubers who burn stuff in their house and shout so loudly.

I build it myself - there's a link in the initial post to a YT video that covers the construction process.

Hope it's okay to post a YT video... it was a lot of work to make both - the desk and the build log video

What kind of data are you copying? If it's a bunch of smaller files (like photos) 35 - 48 MB sounds about right. But if you're getting this kind of speeds when transferring a single large file (a few gigs), then something is definitely wrong...

Temps are reasonable, given the cheapest ($50) AIO cooler. The CPU can get to 65C under full load with the fans set to 900 rpms, at which you can bearly hear them. If you ramp up the rpms, it gets really loud, but the temps drop like 5C or so. I need upgrade... maybe a custom loop...

This is a custom PC for my parents. The plan is to build a small form factor computer on a budget. Must be able to run solitaire, Chrome and Skype

    Parts list:
    - MSI H81i motherboard
    - Intel Pentium G3250
    - 8 GB Kingston HyperX memory
    - 120 GB Kingston HyperX SSD drive (salvaged from the old computer)
    - 300W BeQuiet SFX Power 2 PSU

Nothing extraordinary, I know... but all that will be housed in a custom enclosure.

Here's a quick pic of the case disassembled that I took when test fitting the RX480... The XFX GTR Black Edition uses pretty much every inch available in the GPU compartment
Slight change of plans, the PSU will be Silverstone SST-SX500-LG 500W fully modular.

    Hi guys
Thought I'd share my upcoming project - a Star Wars themed, compact gaming PC in a white Dr Zaber Sentry case.

    Specs:
    ASRock H110M-ITX motherboard
    Intel Core i5 6500
8 GB Kingston HyperX Fury RAM
    XFX RX 480 RS
    Thermaltake Toughpower 550W Modular

I'll be make a wrap for the case which will look something like this:

And here's a not so great visualization.
