Cheers for that! I'll give them an email just to make sure, says in the title it's for my model but better to be safe than sorry.

She should have mastered it herself, the amount of shoes etc on the floor in the middle of the night, I think she did it to spite me. A week after I buy my 1070, she must have been jealous

the $200 price tag on the 980ti is too good to pass up,  that's half what you would pay for a 1070 and performance will be pretty even.

the zotacs tend to look a bit plain, but that means you have style points left to spend on decorating before stuff goes hideous

if memory serves, that zotac was one of the nicer 980ti's as well.

Yes that would work, another is to just barely dampen a soft microfiber or towel with water which also does a great job.

Just thought I'd share this with you lot considering he doesn't seem to understand the hilarity behind it, but my friend just fitted his first upgrade into his PC (bought it pre-built) and he went from a 660ti to a GTX 980, he didn't realise that you needed to power both the 8pin and the 6pin connector, he only did the 8pin. This was enough to power the card for idle stuff, but the minute he loaded a game his PC shut down. He looked online for about 4 hours and resulted in going out buying another PSU to make sure that wasn't the issue.

Long story short, he took a picture of the insides after this new PSU still didn't fix his issue and I noticed he was missing a 6 pin connector hahaha

EDIT: He just said "I saw the 6 pin connector aswell but I didn't think it was necessary, I didn't want another wire coming across my PC and then have the 2 extra detachable pins to be dangling, making it look messy." haha

Have him give it to you or sell it on eBay.

actually app inventor is very nice for being android apps, and even if you NEVER use this again you take away with you the experience of building an application and the logic that goes on the back ground to make it work.

Okay! that's depressing but! I'm not sure if my MB kept up to date when I reinstalled as I don't have any of the programs (MSI FAST BOOT for example) that I got when I originally installed it, however... I can't find the disc I used originally and when I go on MSI's website, I'm gonna be honest I don't have a clue as to which update I need to download aha...

If that's not the case I'll look into that PSU, i'm not really on that much of a budget, and plan to get a 2nd 970 in April so maybe I should go a bit higher in terms of W on the PSU so I don't run into these problems again?
