Budget (including currency): 500 Country: USofA!!! Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Minecraft, roblox, the sims and school Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): What is a decent mobo, cpu and ram combo to play sims, minecraft and roblox? I have a AMD 5850, 250gig ssd so I need just need just the guts. The build is for my daughter so it doesnt have to be high end (I prefer it not too). Out of the loop when it comes to mid/lower mid.

I had the same issue. I got a new USB dongle and the drift went away. Battery life still sucks tho.

Doesn't matter what the "inventory" says, I went in the last 2 days straight at opening and hung around (loitered) for the second day for 30 minutes updating the website checking on 3080s. They showed 4 models the first day (2 msi and one 2 asus) and 3 the 2nd day(EVGA) it showed in stock but when they "searched" for them they were gone. So on the second day I decided to get a 3060 for a build and inventory showed 5 different models in stock also. No luck not in store. On my way out the door I noticed 3060s and some other big boxes (couldnt read them) locked in a cage. I asked could I buy one of those and was told "Those are sold already" So either Microcenter is somehow selling them online (business maybe) or some employees are scalping. But magically when a $1900 and up 3090 shows it is in stock, it is actually in stock.

How much storage do you think is appropriate for a "gaming PC?"
FmPhenom replied to Mister Woof's topic in Storage Devices
2tb nvme drive for OS and older games that I run off of disc and 4gb ssd for steam , uPlay, epic games, Etc..... (UGH). -
Don't worry about vr. Its over rated. Trust me , i know first hand. Your pc is a gaming pc. The 1080 is still a very capable card.

That is good, that is good.
