You're forgetting that companies are run by people, I as a person who starts one that offers the ability for people to talk to other people may want limits of usage on my platform I created. You don't abide by those and I will kick you off it. People only care about it now because we have these extremely large platforms that hold a lot of influence but they are still a private company with a right to the rules in which they want to enforce.
 
Why should someone/a company lose it's right to run it's platform how it likes because it's successful.
 
I can actually support the idea, only because of what we have now, on putting limits on what the likes of Facebook or Twitter can do but lets be extremely careful here. They are still a private entity with a right to run their business how they like in the same way you have a right to express your opinion.

My opinion is if you are not willing to stand up in real life and tell people what you believe for fear of consequences then maybe you should consider that the general population doesn't like your ideals.  It's not always about government control and dictatorship, sometimes you are just the black sheep that no one wants.

You do know threatening messages can be reported when blocked, both to the person being threatened and police.
 
It doesn't have to about feeling safer, stopping the spread of calls of violence does have other effects.
 
Places that are safe havens for 'free speech' that attract the type of people who spread that hate speech and calls for violence are there because they can be anonymous, free from challenge and consequence, those people are cowards. 
 
You aren't ignoring them though, that is giving them a platform.

You do know that Gab was fully aware it was hosting neo-Nazis long before the mass shooting, right?  That it was well-known as a haven for extremists, and this was just the first time one of the extremists in its community went so far as to kill people?  Gab isn't a champion of free speech; it courts the people whose hate, harassment and threats get them kicked off of better social networks.

Isn't this the second time they've been caught catering to white supremacists? So shouldn't they move from the 'Sorry' to the 'Really, really sorry' phase (Note that this is an equally vacuum statement devoid of meaning or meaningful corrective actions but it at least sounds far more apologetic in it's PRness)

Very nice! i have a friend who has an sc400 with the 1uz that he swapped a w58 into.

Get out.. Just Get out.. Soarers are so damn rare that owning one is a pipedream for me.. So jealous right now..
