The effects of /k/, last night's barbecue, the engineer in me, and a bit of alcohol made this thought possible.

If I loaded a charged capacitor in a shotgun shell and fired it, could I make a long range tazer? Could I make a single-use cattle prod by taping a capacitor on the end of a stick? Could I take a M18 Claymore and replace the steel balls with capacitors that will shock anyone in the area of effect?

I should probably go to sleep.

No I didn't write it. I just posted this here to give people some names. To be honest it might not be much worth to someone writing a paper, but it's nice to have to know what to avoid.

What currency is that? If it's USD then that's a pretty high end build.

If it's CAD then it's probably enough for a doughnut, maybe two if there's a sale. /s

Nope, it's an obvious scam. Click the sellers list. It says to contact them before buying.

For the record, WHEN BUYING FROM AMAZON SEND MONEY THROUGH AMAZON, DO NOT SEND MONEY THROUGH PAYPAL OR OTHER NON-AMAZON METHODS.

The only times SLI/CF is worth it is when you've already got the top end video card but still want more performance.

Or you want to win a virtual dick waving contest at the benchmarking website of your choice.

They're probably wrong, but it's actually possible in a way. Many "Unlimited Data" plans have a limited amount of data at 4G speeds with anything past that downgraded down to 3G speeds. So if you use your phone's data a lot, then yes, you actually can "run out of 4G."

    Oh boy, here we go.

First off, I go the legitimate route. If I can pay for it, I'll do so. Note that I'm talking about piracy in general and not just software or applications.

But I will pirate if it's just not possible to give them my money, even if I want to.

Sometimes, a "Thing" is not released in this country, or sometimes the original publisher, developer team, artist team, just went bust. Because the original creator(s) won't get my money either way, I have no regret pirating when the team or people that deserve my money no longer exist.

Media that I pirate for this reason tends to be obscure animes from the early 2000's.

Games with crippling DRM, massive bugs, and/or is expensive as hell I just don't bother buying. I'm the kind that can hold back wants and it's done me a lot of good and saved me a lot of money that I would've otherwise spent on shiny garbage.

Install ubuntu and paste a Windows 10 theme over the default look for the tech-unsavvy person that does nothing else but derp around on the internet. Replace the Firefox icon with the IE6 icon and you'll have them completely fooled.

Having an OS that pretty much no one makes viruses for will prevent many headaches. It's not like they'll know the difference between W10 vs ubuntu+W10 theme anyways.

I know that some cards have a slower GPU chip even though they have more RAM. Some low end chips also have DDR3 instead of GDDR5.

    Low end cards are weird.
