  1. run a small vm with it installed, and maybe use the vm for other things that aren't that important

  5. i have my main laptop and desktop, and i have kept my old computers so i could count them as secondary pc's
  6. i sold my old notebook to a friend of mine, and when i showed him how to clean it in the future i accidentally disconnected the wifi antenna, later he complained that the wifi did not work so i ent over to him. only to mess with it for a few hours to find out that the antenna was disconnected... :wacko:

  8. simple answer: no. but you could install an airplay server on the imac and extend the macbooks display that way, it could be pretty laggy though...
  9. you could take a look at jamo subwofers http://www.jamo.com/speaker-types/subwoofers/?sku=SUB210 it's usually around 100-150 euro's, don't know about uk though.
  10. maybe it clould be due to the pwm dimming, but that means you shouldn't notice it when you use it on full brightness...

  16. hoe does the product key ckeck work while installing windows? it seems so odd that it kinda "knows" which keys are distribted
  17. my dell dimension 8400, man i loved that machine... unfortuantely the capacitors bursted and after replacing them the pc still didn't work the rest of my tech losses aren't that bad, they are replacable.
  18. in my notebook it's the ssd, it's a year older than the notebook itself in my desktop the case is the oldest part, it's a modded powermac g5 from 2003
