  1. Below 90*C is ok - https://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-1080/specifications To lower GPU temp - increase airflow to the card, try water cooling, more aggressive fan curve, replace thermal paste if the card is a bit older (factory thermal paste isn't usually great), etc Really the safe temp is what You are comfortable with...
  2. Well since the variable seems to be the CPU in my opinion you just have to wait longer (sometimes electronics need longer than usual for switching/first time) - wait like 15 min So HIS cpu and mobo combo is working or not?
  3. Well I wouldn't want to have to go through the hassle of switching SIM cards (I guess nowadays you can get a duplicate). Also would a iPhone user really want to have a Android as backup?
  4. How long did you wait? I remember when I switched CPU's once and had to wait a long time for it to post/turn on
  5. I wouldn't want to carry around another phone just for extra battery life. Have you considered just buying a "regular" power bank? [don't know what Your use case is but it seems a bit silly to me to carry around an extra phone in case your main one runs out of juice]
  6. How long did you wait before turning off the system after changing the CPU? So to be clear - first you put YOUR cpu and it didn't post than you put your BROTHERS cpu into HIS mobo and it also didn't want to post? How long did you wait for a post?
  7. Or maybe just google it? https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/unibeast-install-macos-mojave-on-any-supported-intel-based-pc.259381/
  8. Linus made a video a long time ago building a hackintosh PC using this guys method: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/unibeast-install-macos-mojave-on-any-supported-intel-based-pc.259381/

  10. Don't really have much experience, but I suggest just googling or searching LTT forums for guides. Here's one that I found on YouTube
  11. Aesthetics or if you are building in a confined compartment than customizing the cable length can help with cable management
  12. I don't think so... You would have to copy the files to let's say a external hard drive (even the USB type) and later copy them back
  13. If you want to delete WIN10 from a drive just do a format Yes you can have dual boot systems
