The hardware was so similar that Windows didn't even ask to re-authenticate =)

So, I am upgrading from the MSI Z97 Gaming 5 to the MSI Z97A Gaming 6. On paper, it seems like the only difference is the added USB 3.1 type C connector and a SPDIF sound connecter. Does anyone think I could swap out the motherboards without reinstalling windows or are the chipsets different enough to where it will cause hiccups?

To all those saying no, you want them to know that they are making the right move by pulling the game to fix it? you buy it if you want it if/when its fixed. Money speaks louder then anyone to these companies and they are doing the right thing by attempting to fix it and if they do fix it they should be rewarded for it, this is a hell of alot better then them dusting their hands off and shrugging their shoulders and by still not buying it you are showing them no matter how much you try and fix the problem it doesnt matter and isnt worth trying to fix.

Because sometimes you don't know you want a game until it's a freakin' nickel

Personally, I'd recommend getting a better guitar. Essencially what you are wanting to do is put a corvette engine in a 1992 ford taurus body. Get a schecter, even their low cost models are made really well and sound great for the price

Do you have a new bridge for it as well? looks like you are missing the saddle for the 4th string (G)

if not, you can get a decent low cost one here https://www.allparts.com/

Well, you may be able to find a replacement screw at a local hardware store, just take the screw out of another one of your saddles and try to match it up. though, the threading might be tough to match up

well, it can affect the sustain (how long a note rings out after being played). It's not gonna make much of a difference if you get the same kind of bridge, it'd likely take some body work to the guitar to switch the type of bridge. If there's a guitar shop in town near you that does repairs, they may have the screw you're looking for as well (I don't know why I didn't suggest that first lol)

The Danelectro black coffee is a great low cost distortion pedal good for metal

Behringer makes some good low cost amps like this one

anything smaller than a 12" speaker sounds like garbage in my opinion

I'm not sure if the center position is 1/1/1 or 0/1/0 because I play on guitars with only 2 pickups, but other than that that looks about right.
as far as what setting to have it on, it all depends on what sound you like. try it on each for different songs and see what sounds best to you

steelbath66 got a reaction from CostcoSamples in How many games are in your back catalogue?
Not necessarily, Steam sales + Humblebundle.com is how I put almost 100 games in my library in a year or so simply to take advantages on drastically reduced prices.
With humble bundles for example, you can pay roughly 5 bucks for a set of 5 to 7 games, even if you only wanted 1 out of the group you usually pay less than 25% of the price out of the game if you were to buy it outright and get the other games as a bonus and thus building quite a back log. So if anything, extra thrifty with money.

Thanks mate!
Thanks . Yea the SLI bridge is supposed to light up and I was puzzled as well as to why mine didn't. After a bit of research I found out that these 970s don't support the LED feature, it might have something to do with the same short PCB as other cards like the 670 and 760. It's all good though, I don't mind that it doesn't now that I know why lol
