Don't get the Strix, just don't. it's the only bad apple of gtx 970s (Power delivery and overheating problems) a MSI or EVGA would be much better

yea but they are louder and dont have a backplate temps are 2c higher

False, the MSI too has no fan mode and 8mm bigger fans and is overall less noisy. the MSI too has a back plate but under the pcb and it's ridged, the v1.3 pcb dont flex at all. Before i went SLI my MSI one never went over 70*C

I haven't had any issues with temperature in my rig running 2 strix 970's, it runs cool and quiet =)

i know about temps of msi 980 sli they are around 65c under load with nice air. flow

Don't get the CX or the NEX, both aren't great units. You want XFX TS 550W, XFX XTR, EVGA G2, Antec HCG which are all better units than the aforementioned
