  1. i don't think that's what happened. it was simply overambitious and John Romero wanted to use the latest engine. He swapped it like twice.
  2. People mentioned Duke Nukem Forever, that game wasn't actually in development for 12 years. 3D Realms spent a lot of time on the game, switched engines twice, and restarted development twice as well, then the version they were developing was ultimately scrapped and the Gearbox developed release we got was only in development for probably a year or so. Daikatana had similar issues.
  3. No? The single player is $60, 60-100 hour game, similar to Witcher 3, multiplayer is a separate project entirely. Not even coming until after both paid expansions.
  4. May I remind you that Blizzard did nothing to an American player when he held up a sign that said "support HK, boycott blizzard". They cut the stream but did nothing else. If blizzard didn't take sides why didn't they ban him as well? Also, even if he was in violation, a year or 6 months is overkill, and they could have just pulled him aside gave him a warning instead of dropping the ban hammer so quickly.
  5. It harms paying customers and doesn't do anything to combat piracy whatsoever. Some people would rather not have everything they do be constantly monitored. It's an invasion of privacy. "If you have nothing to hide you shouldn't worry" is such a b.s. excuse for spying.
  6. I hope it doesn't push non streaming out because I rather have games that I feel like I own and not lose access to if when the service goes down.
  7. I really hope Stadia fails because if it ends up being the future of gaming I think I'd rather give up gaming entirely.
  8. How about just stop smoking cancer sticks and poisonous vapor juice, and put big tobacco out of business. Seriously, if smoking and vaping were banned I would not shed a single tear. It's harmful to both people and the environment
  9. It says MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS. Not what the current speed is!
  10. It's not real time, it's some site I have never heard of. https://earth.nullschool.net This is the site he was looking at btw
  11. I just checked that website he had linked and it is the most inaccurate shit I have ever seen.
  12. I gave you real time data, the NOAA is the best and most accurate source! REAL TIME FUCKING DATA.
  13. https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/refresh/graphics_at5+shtml/174008.shtml?cone https://www.foxnews.com/us/hurricane-dorian-strengthens-to-category-4-storm-as-it-heads-toward-florida https://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/weather/hurricane/fl-ne-hurricane-dorian-track-florida-forecast-20190830-avaeibdjenhhje2uxymrsw6yvm-story.html
  14. Check again. The wind speeds are up to 140. It's not ignorant people and it's not media, it's meteorologists doing their jobs and checking the facts. Oh, CNN said it so that invalidates every other news outlet, then huh? Stop believing in silly conspiracy theories. DO SOME RESEARCH.
  15. It's not a "media conspiracy". A hurricane is not the same wind speed throughout the entire storm. They say, "up to 140 mph" because the parts further from the eye are lower speed. As I said, you know nothing about meteorology.
