it just barely fits in the 380t despite being 9mm longer than the official max GPU length. Had to move some things around in the case to get it to fit.

    That's a tight fit...
It does look good with the RGB shining through the GPU heatsink.

    Also...

    Spoiler

Is this the inspiration for your build? :D

@Spotty if it was any longer or wider it wouldnt fit.

And the GPU was almost too big to get in the case too! :D It does push a lot of the hot air down which warms the area below it. Though my SSD still only reads 51ºC which is I believe roughly where it was with the 970 FTW.

Hey congratz on the new GPU, 1080 Ti still is nVidia's best high GPU to date, awesome performance for realistic pricing that remained perfectly relevant even with the new line up.

@Princess Cadence thanks! Especially considering the price I got it for. Knew a guy who was getting out of gaming and into a more expensive hobby and gave me a deal I couldn't refuse, better price than Ebay or r/hardwareswap. And I'm thinking they're going to start going up in price due to the non popularity of the 20 series right now

I don't think they will necessarily go up in price, but perhaps there won't be the same drop in price that people were expecting with a new generation.

That bitch is big. It must be a pain stuffing it in and carrying it around all day. ?

That absolute UNIT throwing heat into the case must be fun.

@DildorTheDecent The Plexi above and the bay below it are noticeably warm. Though the area (left) with the SSD is significantly warmer than the right.

I'm still playing with fan curves/ fans at 40% are a bit louder than my 970 FTW were, but thats because there's more of them and they're technically spinning faster. Havent seen temps really above 70ºC though
