  1. I have my Windows volume set at 100 and control the volume through the volume knob of my external dac/amp.
  2. I don't think you should worry about that because Beyerdynamic is an EU company. Check out europe.beyerdynamic.com And I think regarding the US plugs, they mean the EU socket plug, or wall plug. And we EU got the 220-240V and the US 110V.
  3. Amiron Home is great for your use case. I have this headphone too and I love it. I have your use cases too.
  4. LG Ultrafine OLED monitors? They have the 32" 4K version too.
  5. What about the LG 27GR95QE? 1440p, 240hz, 27" OLED. I have it and it's the best monitor ever! Pixels are very crispy and clear, you won't even complain about lack of 4K. Though it can do 4K120 just fine. Supported refresh are 60, 120, 144 and 240 through HDMI 2.1
  6. Exactly. And comfort is important too and it's excellent. You can use it for many of hours without fatigue and pain.
  7. You're welcome! You might like the Tygr and it doesn't fatigue at all like happening with the HD560S. Very boring, fatiguing quickly and no bass.
  8. I know, right haha. Then it's the Tygr that will suit your needs/preferences. Great bass, perfect for gaming and movies. It has a wide soundstage.
  9. The DT880 is neutral but it does have bass. The Tygr is like DT990-bass with DT880-treble. But in your case, likely the Amiron Home. Tygr too so a bit hard to choose. I have them both.
  10. A bit too long to read the topic but if you need/bass, forget about the HD560S. I had it and it's not a nice headphone for gaming and movies. Get the Tygr. If you can, the Amiron Home is also a very good headphone. Or DT880.
  11. €60K sjees, what did Sennheiser smoke to come up with that price? It must of out of this planet lol The ATH-W2022 looks nice but IMO, the ATH-WB2022 looks much nicer. It sucks it can only be connected through BT and integrated USB dac so you have to connect it through USB on your PC/laptop for example. Stupid logic if you ask me.
  12. Regarding software, you mean drivers for your onboard audio? First of all, which headphones do you have?
  13. DT770 80ohm. Not only it's easier to drive it, the highs are also less harsh than the 250ohm version. Comfort is excellent, it's built like a tank so you need to be as strong as a Hulk to break it. And Beyerdynamic provides plenty of spare parts to replace everything.
  14. Beyerdynamic provides spare parts to fix your DT990. Fixing them is pretty easy but sometimes you need an extra pair of hands to apply the headband. I bought a secondhand Beyerdynamic T90 so I replaced the sliders, headband from Tygr, T90 earpads, black yokes and all works fine. If 900 is not your thing, you can always buy the DT990. Or Tygr 300R. I have this headphone too and it's a very amazing headphone too. Funny thing, I rebought the DT770 and this time the 80 ohm version. Very good headphone too. The 250ohm is a bit strong on the highs.
  15. Everything this guy said, they are all very great headphones. Tygr 300R is a damn fine headphone with excellent comfort, great dark sounding sound signature and bass. Extremely light too. DT770 PRO, get the 80 ohm version as it's less fatiguing than the 250 ohm. I used to have the 250 ohm version but didn't like it because the highs are fatiguing. The 80 ohm is the best and also the most popular of the DT770 series. The soundstage is also really wide which i'm impressed. And lastly, the Amiron Home. Maybe a bit over your budget but it's a very good headphone too. Beyerdynamic has so many headphones for so many use cases. I can't say that for other brands.
  16. What about ATH-W2022? It suits your needs partially. Or ATH-WB2022 if Bluetooth is a must.
  17. I'm so glad I went for a secondhand 3080 TUF instead for a new 6800XT that was on my list. Plugged the 3080 in, installed latest drivers and no issue at all. Temps stays all cool. Why can't AMD make good drivers?? Sure nVidia their drivers are not the holy grail but damn, AMD is really such an amature in that.
  18. What about passive noise cancelation? Like you have closedback headphone that can block sounds very good. I had the Beyerdynamic T5p.2 and it can block noise like a champ. So what about secondhand Beyerdynamic T5 or T5p.2 for example? Focal Radiance also have ANC-level according to reviews from regular owners. This headphone is new not cheap so why not 2nd hand if possible.
  19. Nice! Glad it fixed your issue, I knew the chance is (very) high because onboard audio is trash, like really trash, especially if a very afforable DAC juiced up all the quality. That DAC is also one of the most popular too. And yeah, when you go DAC, any longer than 1.2m cables will be very tedious lol. But one thing is for certain: it's extremely convenience because you no longer have to get up to swap headphones. Well, I have a good collections so for me, it's matter of unplugging and plugging and no longer finding the right audio hole in the back of PC desktop
  20. Smart tv stuff as in? Apps that are not supported? I have an "old" OLED tv and Discovery+, Disney+ and more other apps are not supported because of "old", Yeah right, they just want me to "upgrade" to a new tv, fuck that. So I bought Chromecast with Google TV and suddenlt every problem is solved! Now we got all the apps.
  21. To enjoy audio, your analog 3.5mm singled ended balanced must be made of pure vibranium coated in fullblood Arabic unicorn horse and only in braided diamond cable! Otherwise you'll lose about 0.32db in 200hz frequencies and believe me, you don't want that.
  22. Any reason for a mobo replacement?
  23. Nice! Then don't waste time, effort and money on onboard. I too assume it would solve this problem. DACs are indeed hard to navigate, I've been there and it was not really easy. Too many options and features. Better headphones makes games sounds so much better too. Not just only for music. My pleasure to be of help!
