  1. Yes, but you would have to have it so that the RAM is always powered somehow
  2. No, they don't come into London because they're scared of the 11 year old hardnuts with knives, drugs and worst of all...
  3. I don't understand why people even bother arguing about the specs of a phone, all you'll be doing is internetting, phone calls, and light gaming, the only thing that really matters is storage space
  4. Losing time as in going to 00:00? Otherwise you might just be synced to the wrong time server
  5. Can't you take C# and A+? Because learning a programming language is really useful for day to day life.
  6. Let's get this straight: Windows isn't the one supporting programs, it's programs that are supporting Windows.
  7. Use LibreOffice, it's much better than OpenOffice and better than Excel if you have an AMD GPU, instead of Ubuntu use Xubuntu or Lubuntu, that way you'll be saving a bunch of processing power that you can use for when you're 3D modelling or gaming (I mean, you'll already be doing that if you use Ubuntu compared to Windows 7, but still, you might as well go all the way right?). Ubuntu/Xubuntu/Lubuntu also boot waaaaay faster than Windows 7.
  8. LinusMemeTips Hosts the MLG show every Friday where they talk about meme culture news, as well as reviewing the latest memes
  9. It's not living forever, it's a crude emulation of your consciousness, nothing more.
  10. Xubuntu, it's what I use and it's really good. I suggest you remove Kubuntu, it's alot more demanding than it needs to be and really not suited for a Dell Vostro. Puppy and DSL are also a pain in terms of usability and not suited for everyday use
  11. Tell your parents, I've had a bunch of problems, I know it's hard because you don't want to waste your time like that but it is better to be in a bit of pain now than alot of pain later because your insides are bleeding.
  12. Get Xubuntu, it's free and very good. It's my main OS on my laptop. http://xubuntu.org/
  13. XCF: https://wakaba.dhcp.io/files/113 (rename it .xcf also, the website has a self-signed cert so you'll get a warning about that) @Mohenjo
  14. Reminds of the story that turned Richard Stallman against proprietary software, involving the Xerox printer prototype that was brought into the AI lab. He instantly hated it because it had a jamming problem that he wasn't able to fix because they were not given a copy of the source code iirc. Now we've found out that our printer is out to get us. If our printers didn't have proprietary software we would be free to remove this feature and we would have also known about it far sooner. This stuff has seriously gone too far, what else is out to get us? Laminators? Chargers? Children's toys? WE DON'T FLIPPING KNOW! They literally said on the page "Other forensic marking techniques have been invented" there's no doubt in my mind that there are far more than those just on the list that are tracking us. You don't get away from it by leaving America, I live in the UK and my printer most likely has this, we get away from it by using libre software.
  15. Right, time to webm this and start using it Edit: https://wakaba.dhcp.io/files/10d Just rename it to .webm The website has a self-signed cert so you might get a warning btw
  16. No, it's decent, but it's the minimum I can realistically deal with for regular use.
