  2. how do i figure out which m.2 connector my laptop has? any software?
  3. I know the evo is a sata and pro is a pcie, but since the laptop comes with both versions and a M.2 sata drive works in a pcie x4 slot, i figured it would be a pcie slot it has a 96wh battery, im not that worried about battery sorry it a danish site, couldn't find the asus product page https://www.power.dk/pc-og-tilbehor/barbare-computere/barbar-pc/asus-ux501vw-fi020t-156-barbar-pc/p-252287/

  5. Hi, I just bought a Zenbook pro UX501VW, with a 256gb M.2 Samsung EVO 850 SSD, which is a little low for me. 2 questions: How do i easily upgrade to a bigger M.2 SSD? (laptop only has one slot for storage and i dont know of any usb adapters for M.2 SSDs) Can this laptop take a NVMe ssd, like the Samsung 950 pro? This laptop comes as either the cheap one with 8gb ram, 256gb ssd non-touch or 16 gb ram and 512gb NVMe PCIe ssd with touch. I was planning on buying the more expensive one but got the cheap one on a sale for almost half the price and dont have to deal with a glossy touch screen and hoped to just upgrade later.
  6. Zenbook Pro ux501vw, has it all for a good price with few trade-offs
  7. Asus zenbook pro ux501vw, 1500 usd, i7 6700hq, gtx 960m, 4k screen, 16 gb ram, 512gb nvme ssd, premium "macbook pro 15" like build quality only minuses, glossy touch screen and not great speakers dont know if you can get it in north america, but there is a cheaper version with 8gb ram, 256 gb ssd(not nvme) and non-touch/mat screen for a couple of hundred $ less edit: And it has a 96wh battery!!
  8. Im looking to build a HTPC but form factor is important and it is hard to make one as small as the ZBOX, which would be perfect!
  9. Hopefully this means online wont be hit very hard with hacking, and for me the game is big enough and dont NEED modding to be a very satifying purchase.
  10. nevermind it fixed itself again, no idea what i did this time..
  11. I have this "gaming laptop", a MSI GE60 something with a gtx660m and a intel i5 3230m with windows 10 preview, which i use in school, after almost each update to windows the pc keeps using intel integrated graphics instead of the NVidia gpu. No matter what i try i cant get it to use the right gpu in games, each time i somehow get it to work right again, but not this time. I have tried to select gpu in nvidia control panel, reinstalling drivers several times, disable intel graphics, any solution i could find. Nothing works and i need it in school tommorow because my computer science teacher promised us a lan party in class Any ideas??
  12. hopefully they dont advertise it as 24 h wifi service then the drones will just circle the earth i suppose unless there is enough battery power in that slim body maybe the moon reflect enough to keep them afloat

Check ram usage, if 98-100% there could be a memory leak or something
  14. codingbat.com is good for the basic java and python! used it at my school, else lynda.com makes good videos.
  15. Dont see how this is "milking" they offer a easy way to upgrade and keep your place in the line, so all who would have bought steel can just upgrade, about the same sales.
  16. im getting the pink one for sure!
  17. bought it in a heartbeat, first 1000 i think absolutely love my pebble watch!
  18. DAT almini... aluminu.... Aluminium though!
  19. Browns, because thats what the g710+ came with, they're great though, but can be heavy in running sims
  20. Consider getting a nvidia gpu, shadowplay is a free and easy to use recording tool, with no real fps hit, only works with nvidia
